They arrived at the clinic and saw that it is closed. Knight took his phone out and dialed a number. He put it on speaker.

“Hey Clint buddy! Where are you? I saw that your clinic is closed.” Knight asked over the phone. He called his friend who is actually a vet.

“I’m at home. I didn’t go to work today. Do you need anything?” A man spoke on the other line.

“Yeah! I need a check up for my two new pets. Can I come over to you house now?” Knight said and looked at Ayesha.

“Yeah sure! I can spare some time to check on your new pets.” the man uttered on the other line.

“Okay Good. Thanks buddy.” Knight said and ended the call.

“Okay let’s have another road trip” Knight exclaimed and drove off.

After a twenty minutes drive, they arrived at their destination. Knight parked his car outside his friend’s gate. The house is simply built and there are plants all over the place and the yard is so big.

“Knight! Bud!” someone exclaimed and there Ayesha saw a man with a blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes, who just come out from the nowhere and is coming towards their direction.

The guy opened the gate and let the two in, Knight and the man hug each other.

“Miss you Bro.” Knight uttered and separate from the hug. Clint glance at Ayesha, and spoke, “Who is this beautiful lady with you? Clint asked, and glance at the two animals wrapped in Ayesha’s arms, “And what do we have here, a healthy pup and a healthy bunny” he added and looked at Knight.

“This is my wife, Ayesha.” Knight introduce Ayesha to Clint. “And that two pets are Light and Night.” he added.

“Ayesha this is Clint my bestfriend slash Brother in New York since birth.” Knight introduce Clint to Ayesha as well.

Ayesha put Night down and face Clint again, “Pleasure to meet you Mr. Clint” she politely said.

“The pŀėȧsurė is mine. And please call me Clint. Knight is like a brother to me so you are my sister-in-law. I’ll just call you Ayesha is you won’t mind?” Clint asked Ayesha.

“Oh I wouldn’t mind at all.” Ayesha replied. Clint bent down and touched little Night.

“Did you just adopted this dog?” He asked and Knight answered him, “Yes we just got him and also this bunny.” Knight pointed at Light the bunny.

“Pepper and Salt come here.” Clint called and two Alaskan Malamute came out from his house.

“Oh my what a huge dogs.” Ayesha exclaimed when she saw two more Alaskan Malamute who came out from the house. The four dogs went to Clint’s sode and they say down, lining up. Little Knight approached the four dogs, as if he was so amazed seeing huge dogs.

“This are my dogs, Pepper, Salt, Chilli and Spicies. I got tired of thinking some names for them so I named them like that.” Clint said.

“They have beautiful amd unique names.” Ayesha commented and Clint just smiled at him.

“Let’s go inside, I cook some foods because it’s almost lunch time. Let’s eat first before I would check this two up.” he started walking towards the house and the two, Knight and Ayesha followed behind him. Even the dogs followed them inside, Ayesha took little Night because there is a stair and his little legs can’t reach them.

Ayesha was amazed when she saw how simple Clint’s house is and it all painted in white even the furnitures are all white.

“Please have a seat. I’ll just prepare some food for this five dogs and one bunny.” Clint uttered as he went inside a room and brought out a cage and five dog bowls. He placed each bowl in a corner and put some dog foods in it. All four dogs started munching their food and little night also followed what the elders are doing.

“May I?” Clint asked Ayesha. “Oh sure”. Ayesha gave the bunny to Clint and he place him in the cage. He then gave the bunny some vegetable that he have freshly picked a while ago from his garden.

“Now it’s time for us to eat our food. Come follow me to the kitchen.” Clint said and walked to the kitchen. Knight went to Clint’s side.

“How did you manage to live on your own here? As I remember your mom would freak out if you don’t have your bodyguards around you.” he started the conversation with Clint.

“Well I beg and fooled her.” Clint replied and he took a pot a placed it on the table, he opened it and the aroma of the food lingers immediately to the whole kitchen.

“How did you fooled her?” Knight curiously asked. Ayesha was just listening to the two, as she inhale the fragrance of the dish that Clint her mouth started to water.

“Let’s eat. Ayesha please start digging in.” Clint said and he looked at Knight.

“Well you know I told her that I will bring my girlfriend when I would go back to New York. And she agreed to me.” Clint said and started digging his food also.

“Didn’t your mother arranged someone for you already?” Knight asked.

“Nah, I’m not gonna marry someone I don’t love and besides I still don’t want to be tied down. I still want to enjoy being a bachelor.” Clint replied.

“I heard from Louise that you actually transferred to your wife’s school.” Clint was referring to Knight as a teacher. They were still trying to hide the fact that Knight is a successful business man.

“Yes, so that I could guard her.” Knight stated and looked at Ayesha who just rolled her eyes because of what Knight just said.

The two men were chatting as they eat and Ayesha was just silently eating her own food. She’s having a feeling that she is in heaven, Clint’s cooking is just superb, just like Knight’s.

“How can two man be very talented in cooking. I can only eat but not cook.” Ayesha thought to herself as she looked at the two man who’s happily talking.
