“What do you want to eat?” Knight ask as he went closer to a small refrigerator to grab some ingredients.

“I want chicken soup with potatoes and carrots in it.” Ayesha said as she also walked towards the small center island near the refrigerator.

Knight nodded and took the ingredients, Ayesha roamed her eyes around the little house, the dirty kitchen is located a bit far from the center island and the refrigerator, there’s a small sink and a container where all the utensils are neatly arranged.

Ayesha didn’t expect that the dirty kitchen would be so neat, it was her first time to see a dirty kitchen and she literally thought that it would be dirty, but the reality is way more better than what she expected.

Knight started washing the ingredients and Ayesha watch what he is doing.

“Can I help?” Ayesha asked, she felt a little uncomfortable just sitting there but at the same time she enjoys watching him.

“Do you know how to cut some carrots?” Knight asked as he looked at the lady infront of him.

Ayesha shyly shook her head, she actually have never try cooking any other dishes aside from frying hotdog and egg.

“I actually have never tried cooking any actual dishes.” She honestly confessed. It is so weird that a lady like her don’t know how to cook and the man in front of her can actually cook delicious foods.

“Come, I’ll teach you” Knight said and Ayesha immediately stood up and went to Knight’s side. She is willing to learn on how to cook.

“First you should peel the carrot and after peeling, you will slice it into cubes.” Knight first demonstrated on what should Ayesha do. “You can just slice it into medium sizes and then you can do the same to the potatoes.” he added and gave Ayesha the plastic knife.

Ayesha took the plastic knife and she did what Knight had demonstrated earlier. Knight was very satisfied that his wife is a fast learner.

“Can you finish that all by yourself?” Knight asked and Ayesha nodded.

“I’ll just lit the fire and I’ll start cooking the rice. Be careful on handling the knife.” he said before going to the real dirty kitchen where in he would cook. The two of them worked harmoniously, they actually look like a real and loving couple.

As Knight was putting the cauldron near the fire, he heard a tiny scream from Ayesha and he immediately went to her.

“Nothing, I just cut my finger. But I’m fine now.” Ayesha said. She was about to sip the blood from her finger when Knight tightly grip unto her wrist.

“You should wash your finger, don’t sip the blood that is coming out. What if it might get infected.” Knight worriedly scolded Ayesha as he gently place Ayesha’s finger into the water. “And besides I told you to be careful in cutting the vegatables.” he added.

Ayesha just rolled her eyes because of Knight’s reaction, she just cut herself and the wound is so small, but because of his reaction, she still felt something that she should not be feeling towards the man in front of him.

“Does it hurt?” Knight worriedly ask, Ayedha just shook her head, he then carefully drag Ayesha towards the island counter and he took a small box from a hidden compartment. Ayesha saw that the box was actually a medical kit.

“How can this man in front of me be so worried over a small wound. He even got a medical kit hidden in a small compartment.” Ayesha thought to herself as she just stare in amazement at the man who is walking towards her.

“Give me your hand I’ll treat your wound.” Knight demanded.

“I’m fine Brother Liwie, this is just a small wound and besides it doesn’t even hurt at all.” Ayesha uttered but Knight still insisted in treating her wound, he is afraid that it might get infected.

After treating Ayesha’s wound, Knight placed the medical kit back to the compartment and he face Ayesha again.

“You just sit there and watch me cook, I cannot let you hold a knife again. So just sit there and wait.” He commanded the lady in front of him.

“Just sit there and watch me, I cannot let you get wounded again.” Knight said in a very authorative voice.

“But I wanted to help you and I also want to learn how to cook.” Ayesha uttered as she pleadingly looked at Knight.

“You can help me by just sitting there. This will only take a couple of minutes so just sit their and watch me, but please don’t strip me. Okay?” Knight playfully uttered.
