“Well! Are you gonna stay here for tonight?” Ayesha asked the man whose arms are still snaked around her waist.

“Do you want me to stay here for tonight?” Knight asked back while showering kisses on Ayesha’s forehead.

“Aria is coming tonight, she will teach me about the lessons that I’ve missed when we were on a trip” she uttered and buried her face on his ċhėst. “You smell great!”, she added.

” Do you like my smell?” Knight asked and Ayesha just nod, Knight kissed her on the forehead again. “I’ll give you my perfume so that you won’t miss me that much”. he added. He will be delighted if Ayesha would also use the same perfume that he uses.

” And baby, sad to say but I will not stay here for tonight. I’ll let you focus on studying. Your exam is approaching.” Knight said as he let go of Ayesha and face her.

“After the exams, you will officially be my Mrs Salvador in the eyes of our family members and friends” Knight added and gave Ayesha peck on the lips. He was about to kiss her but was interrupted by a knock outside Ayesha’s room.

“Young Miss, dinner’s ready!” A servant informed Ayesha.

“I’ll be right there” Ayesha answered and a footstep is heard indicating that the servant has already left.

“Let’s have dinner first before you leave” Ayesha suggested but Knight declined the offer, “I would love to have dinner with you but I have to decline, I still have some work to do.”

“Oh! It’s okay there are still so many days that you can have dinner with us.” Ayesha smiled at Knight.

Knight lightly pinched Ayesha’s nose, he can feel her disappointment. “Don’t be disappointed baby. After our wedding, you will live with me and you can see my handsomeness every day and every night”

“Who said I’m disappointed? I’m not disappointed okay?” Ayesha asked in a defensive voice.

“Okay! Okay! You are not disappointed. Baby, I should head home now. It’s getting late and I bet your parents are already waiting for you.” Knight uttered.

“Okay, be careful. Drive slowly.” Ayesha kissed Knight on the cheeks and the shameless man pouted.

“I want it on the lips” Knight pouted his lips more and Ayesha just gave him a tap on the cheek. “Not a chance,” she said and went out from her room. Knight just smiled and made his way out from the balcony. He still needs to walk back to the front gate, Louise who became his driver is waiting for him.

Ayesha immediately sat down on her chair once she entered the dining area.

“Eat now dear. Your grandma was the one who cooked for tonight.” Ayesha’s mother uttered.

“I will mother! Grandma’s cooking skill is extraordinary.” Ayesha said with a big smile on her face.

“You silly child. Now eat up before the food gets cold.” Ayesha’s grandma handed her the rice.

While Ayesha is busy filling her plate, the elders continued chatting about the business and Ayesha just help herself. She really doesn’t interrupt them when they talk about business matters.

While the Gonzales family are having their lively dinner. A car stopped in front of the Manor. Aria who decided to have a sleepover came out from the car, carrying a big backpack.

“Young Miss, do I have to fetch you tomorrow afternoon?” Aria’s driver asked.

“No, you don’t need to fetch me, uncle. I’ll be staying here until our exams are over.” Aria replied and her driver bowed and drove away from the estate.

“Miss Aria! Young Miss Ayesha is having dinner with her family. Would you like to wait in the living room or in her room?” The servant asked Aria.

“I’ll just go to the dining area” Aria uttered and was about to head there when she remembered that she still has her belongings with her. “Uhm! Can you please put these things in Ayesha’s room?” The servant quickly took Aria’s belongings, “Of course Miss!” the servant said.

“Thank you!” Aria said politely and smiled at the servant and made her way to the dining area.

“Hello! Good evening!” Aria greeted everyone as soon as she reached the dining area.

“Oh! you’re here Aria! Please join us” Ayesha mothers said. “Your grandma cooked for tonight”.

” Oh may! I miss the dishes that you personally cook Grandma” Flattered by what Aria said, the old lady of the Gonzales Family laughed.

“You and Ayesha are alike, you know how to flatter this old lady. I will cook again tomorrow if you want my dishes that much” Ayesha grandma said.

“We love that Grandma! ” Aria’s excitement is so obvious that Ayesha kicked her feet. But Aria just glance at Ayesha and smiled sweetly.

“Grandma! Can we also have some desserts tomorrow? I want to taste your homemade chilli ice cream and sweet cassava cake” Aria requested.

“Of course dear” The elder lady gladly uttered.

A servant placed a plate and utensils in front of Aria.

“Eat up Aria! Are you gonna stay tonight?” Ayesha’s mother asked.

“Uhm Auntie can I stay here until our exams are over? I want to teach Ayesha the lessons she has missed when she went on a vacation. I already have asked my parents permission to stay here for a while.” Aria looked at Ayesha mother as she asked for permission.

“Of course! You can stay here. You don’t need to ask my permission, you silly child. You are not a stranger to us you know. Ayesha’s mother uttered. “We also love if you teach Ayesha some of the lessons she missed. I was really hoping that my grandchild is already developing on her tummy but I think those two haven’t done the deed yet.” A bit of disappointment is noticeable on the madam’s voice.

“Don’t worry dear! I know that our grandchild will be developing soon. I trust our son-in-law” Ayesha’s father uttered as he tapped his wife’s shoulder.

“I also want to see a mini version of our dear Ayesha. We are already getting older and older before we want to leave this world we want to hold out great-great-grandchildren.” The elder patriarch uttered.

Ayesha’s head ached when she heard her family spoke about having a grandchild. She just shook her head to ignore the pain, she can’t believe that her family is already wishing for a baby, from her and Knight.

The Gonzales family, along with Aria just continued eating after chatting about the topic of “wanting a grandchild” ended.

After the dinner, the Elders along with Ayesha’s parents stayed in the living room to continue their chat about the business while Ayesha and Aria bid their goodbyes and went upstairs to stay in Ayesha’s room.

“Hey! You flattered grandma so much plus you also requested for desserts. You know that once she is flattered like that she will cook so many dishes.” Ayesha whispered to Aria as soon as they entered her room.

“Oh don’t be worried. I can eat all the dishes that Grandma cooked” Aria ȧssured her best friend. Ayesha just sighed, “Can you please not make your gluttony be known to others” For someone who has a big appetite like Aria’s and never getting fat. Girls who have difficulties in maintaining their figures when they eat too much would curse her to death.

“Yeah yeah, whatever!” Aria ran off towards the bed and throw herself on it.

“We’ll start the lesson later. My brain can’t function yet. I ate too much and my stomach’s digesting it real slowly.” Aria uttered as she rubs her belly.

“Stand up! Don’t lay down.” Ayesha pulled her best friend up. “So while we are waiting for your brain to function well. Tell me what happened during your meeting with Clint’s mother.”

“Oh right! Well as you know, I wasn’t expecting that Clint’s mother is so easy going like my expectation to her was a total opposite when I new and talked with her face to face. She was also expecting me and Clint to get married. She believes that I’m the one that is compatible with her son” Aria didn’t state the part where Clint’s mother order so many foods because she knew that Ayesha would just say that she’s a glutton.

“I should meet Clint’s mother, we think alike” Ayesha suggested.

“No way! You are also thinking that I and Clint are so compatible with each other?” Aria asked and Ayesha just nodded.

“When I first saw you with Clint, I saw some spark.” Ayesha honestly confessed.

Aria’s mouth dropped when she heard her best friend’s reason.

“I don’t think me and Clint will be an item in the near future beside I already like someone”. Aria thought as she just stared at Ayesha.

“So what else did you talked?” Ayesha asked curiously.

“Uhm! Well, it’s more like of an interrogation than of a talked” Aria said as she tried to remember all the question Clint’s mother have asked.

“I think all mothers would really ask questions from the girlfriends of their sons” Ayesha uttered.

“Have Prof. Knight’s mother asked you some questions?” Aria asked.

“No! I haven’t had a proper talk with his mother” Ayesha shyly confessed. “Let’s just study now, I don’t want you to ask more questions about why I haven’t talked with her”. Ayesha said firmly.

The truth is, she doesn’t have an answer to Aria’s questions. That’s why it’s much better for her to avoid her best friend’s curious mind.
