Sect Patriarch System - Chapter 8 Urgent Quest.

Wanting to level up, Su Qiang put the soul of the young master from earlier into one of his puppets, and sent it off to kill some beasts for him, so he could level up while doing other things.

While Su Qiang was blissfully buying things from the system shop with the SP and PP that his puppet was racking up, his bliss was quickly interrupted by a… concerning system notification.

[Ding! Responding to host: Due to the disappearance of the Green Tiger Sects young master, and one of their elders, the sect is preparing to launch an all out assault against the Han clan! The sect shall arrive within 1 hour!]

“FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK! I knew I should’ve just weeded them all out when I had the fucking chance!” Su Qiang was currently furious, and almost as if as an ode to his anger, a new notification came in.

Su Qiang quickly flew to the closest disciple he could find.

“Mu Wong, tell your Vice Leader that I shall be going out for a bit!”

As soon as Su Qiang finished talking to Mu Wong, he swiftly flew away.

“Pathetic Green Tiger sect. To think that they’d dare go against my father-in-law!” It was as if Su Qiang had forgotten that his sect was still completely unheard of.

While flying, Su Qiang didn’t think about anything other than his destination, and the amount of time he had.

20 minutes later, Su Qiang finally arrived at the Han clan residence.

“Father-in-law!”

“Son! What are you doing here?” The man yelled in a rejoiceful way.

“The Green Tiger Sect is preparing to attack you. I’ve come to save you all!”

“What!? Why would they come after m…” Before he finished talking, he realised he already knew the answer.

“Well then, what do you plan to do?”

Instead of answering, Su Qiang just flew away and began to set up defensive and offensive arrays around the area.

By the time that Su Qiang finished, the Green Tiger Sect, was visible over the horizon. Only the patriarch and two elders were actually on flying swords, the rest were just riding on different mounts, ranging from demon beasts, to horses.

You see, although Su Qiang was setting up tactical formations, it wasn’t because of these people. Instead, it was for circumstances where he wasn’t around, or couldn’t be around to protect them.

“HAN CLAN! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY CHILD!?” Right now, the patriarch of the sect was extremely close, making his full figure visible.

For a patriarch, it was quite strange. He had long black hair, black eyes, and very feminine figures in general, he was likely quite popular with the ladies.

“WHO DARES ATTACK THE HAN CLAN!?” Su Qiang yelled, releasing his full power of the Peak Lord Realm.

As Su Qiang released his power, the Green Tiger clan stopped dead in their tracks. Some of their disciples and mounts even died or passed out due to the sheer pressure that he illuminated.

“P-please! Accept my humblest apology all mighty ancestor! If I had known that the Han clan had such a powerful ancestor, not within a million years would I have tried to go against you! It’s just that, with the loss of my son, I did not know what to do!” The patriarch of the Green Tiger Sect began to rant.

“Hmph! I’m no Ancestor! The Han family patriarch is by father-in-law. Your son, piece of shit he is, tried to take her by force. So it was I who killed him.”

“What!? I know that my son was an idiot, but did you really have to kill him? He was just a stupid teenager! Please! Please! Forgive me! Forgive me and my son!” The Green Tiger Sect patriarch was kowtowing.

“You see, I’m not stupid. I can see it in your eyes. You’re a scheming man. You’d try just about any method to get some form of revenge, even if that meant hiring an assassin to kill either me or someone close to me. There was a man I met once. He used to always go on about weeding out your problems before they became big.” Su Qiang said emotionlessly.

“W-what do you mean?” The patriarch and a few elders asked in horror.

“Well you see. At first, I thought about just killing you. However, then I realised, that either an elder or some disciple would probably come to take revenge. So, I’ve decided on something. You see, after all, your Green Tiger Sect is a ‘Demon Way’ sect, so it’s not like you’ll be missed that greatly.”

Before the patriarch or elders had anytime to question Su Qiang, he raised his foot, and stepped hard on the patriarch’s head, causing his skull to shatter, and his brain to disperse.

Suddenly, hundreds of members of the Green Tiger sect began to throw up, however Su Qiang wasn’t going to let them go yet.

Swiftly activating shadow manipulation, Su Qiang surrounded all of them in a sphere in darkness.

“Personally, I’m not really a huge fan of this kind of one sided slaughter, however, doing whatever benefits the world the most, is what should be done.”

As Su Qiang finished talking, he began to leave the sphere. As he was leaving screams of pain and anguish could be heard, as thousands of needs shot out from the sphere, mercilessly butchering everyone inside of the sphere.

“Father-in-law, I’ll let you choose what to do with these bodies…” As Su Qiang finished talking, he realised something. The quest hadn’t completed yet.

“Fuck.” Su Qiang uttered.

He knew that this last person, was likely someone who had infiltrated the Han clan. He just didn’t know who.

Right as he was about to ask his father in law a question, he felt a reasonably strong killing intent.

Swiftly turning around, Su Qiang saw a man who wore the clothes of a servant of the Han family, staring at his father-in-law (A/N: I’m gonna change this to just father in the future, so don’t get confused.)

The man swiftly raised his hand, revealing small needles.

“Don’t even try! Soul Devourer!” Su Qiang yelled.

As his skill with the ability had increased, he was able to devour souls from a distance now.

As Su Qiang activated the skill, the needles swiftly fell to the ground, and the apparent servants body dropped along with it.

Su Qiang had previously told the system to not interrupt him with notifications for killing when he’s in a big fight, or when his puppets are killing things, as it gives him quite the nasty headache with the constant Dings.

[Ding! Responding to host: The Lottery part of it, just determines the slaves’ strength. Slaves can also not disobey their master, no matter what they’re told to do. All slaves will be considered ‘good looking’ to most peoples’ standards.]

Thinking about his new Grand Elder, Su Qiang began to shake.

“Father-in-law! With your current GrandMaster Mid Realm power, you won’t be able to fend off strong people without me very well. So please accept these gifts from me!”

As Su Qiang finished talking, he purchased a few things from the system, including an Earth Grade armour set, a Sky Grade sword, some pills for cultivation, and a few GrandMaster Peak Realm slaves. He then gave them all to his father.

After this. Su Qiang took a strange black book out of his inventory, and began to walk towards the diseased members of the Green Tiger Sect.

A/N: Sorry for the delay with the chapter. I was planning on releasing one yesterday, but I hadn’t known that my day would be so busy. I had to get some blood tests and other things done, and then I had to go out with my family/family friends for most of the day. When I got home at 11pm, having been awake for most of the day, I fell asleep within the hour lol.
