Sect Patriarch System - Chapter 9 Necromancy?

**WARNING: A lot of Info dump up ahead, this one isn’t just for the point of getting a chapter out, but is because this will likely be used throughout the series! BTW, I seriously like necromancy, and I had been waiting for an opportunity to put it in. Skip this chapter if you want to, I’ll be trying to release another one. However, for future chapters, there are some EVENTS in here that will be NECESSARY to KNOW! WARNING**

The book that Su Qiang was carrying, was known as the Necronomicon.

(A/N: Although the book in its real lore doesn’t actually have a super high amount to do with Necromancy, and is more-so about the ‘dark-arts’ in general, here its main point will be necromancy.)

Su Qiang began to read through the book.

The constant dinging gave Su Qiang a headache. He didn’t think there would be this many skills just for reading the first 100 pages. There was still at least another 1000 or so in this thing!

“System, can you describe these skills to me?”

(A/N: Because I don’t want to say it every time, the undead will attain their original strength, and can only get stronger (through upgrades.)Also, for most of them, they won’t die and will keep rebuilding themselves unless they have their heads damaged severely.)

[Ding! Skeleton Rising: As the skill implies, when used, this skill will turn the dead into skeletons. This skill can only be used on cultivators up to the peak of the Apprentice realm. Skeletons are not capable of using their original martial skill, however they automatically learn ‘basic fist and kick techniques’. Granted Low Grade Armour by the system.]

[Ding! Zombie Rising: As the skill implies, the dead are tuned into zombified versions of themselves. These zombies however, look almost identical to their originals, only having pure white eyes and lacking the ability to talk. No, they don’t eat brains. The skill cannot be used on those in the GrandMaster realm. Granted Mid Grade Armour and weapons by the system.]

[Ding! Reanimation: This skill allows the host to create almost perfect undead. Unlike the zombies, these undead will be able to talk, and attain all of their martial art knowledge. Can only be used on those in the GrandMaster realm. However, they will all have the same coloured pupils. (To be determined by host). Granted High Grade Armour and Weapons by the system.]

[Ding! Undead Empowerment: The more kills the hosts undead get, the more ‘Exp’ they gain. Through the use of this skill, these undead are able to become stronger, either by, for example, transforming into the next strongest class, e.g. Skeleton –> Zombie. Or they may gain a sub class, e.g. Zombie –> Sword Master Zombie]

[Ding! Undead General: This skill creates a high-class undead completely identical to the person its been cast on. These undead not only retain all of their original martial techniques, but are even capable of cultivation, and gaining exp. Level ups will instantly make them stronger and cause them to skip ahead to the minimum requirement for the next ‘evolution’, whereas through cultivation, it is impossible for them to evolve, only become stronger. Undead which made to be part of their ‘group’ can use some of their martial techniques as well. Can only be used on those in the Lord Realm. They’re even given Earth Grade armour and weapons, forged by the system.]

[Ding! Undead King: Creates a high-class undead, which is capable of full cultivation. They can only directly be made out of King Realm experts, and are capable of imparting their martial techniques, to their generals. Undead Kings have their own Sky Grade armour and weapons, specifically created by the system to benefit them.]

[Ding! Lich: This skill creates an extremely powerful undead, which is capable of even creating its own undead, up to the General level. Lich’s retain all of their original memories and are able to cultivate. However, they hold zero grudges against the host. They look mostly normal, but, their bodies radiate a dark, poisonous energy, capable of killing people who merely come into contact with them, if they so wish. Can only be used on those in the Nascent Soul Realm. Blessed with Heaven Grade Weapons and Armour from the system.]

[Ding! Lich King: This skill creates an undead, capable of even creating its own undead kings. The power of a Lich King is immense, being a far stronger version of the Lich. Being at their base, Emperor level experts, not only do they retain all of their memories, but they’re even capable of using some of the hosts’ skills. They’re a perfect replica of their original selves, however, they have an even stronger poisonous energy, which once activated, attacks the targets very soul. Blessed with Divine grade weapons and armour by the system.]

“System… is there a limit to how many of these I can have?” Su Qiang asked very questioningly.

[Ding! Responding to host: No. There is no limit. Theoretically, the host could make as many of them as he kills.]

“Well then… I wish to learn all of the skills.”

[Ding! Confirming host decision. Please bare with the short amount of pain.]

[Ding! Congratulations to host for learning the skill…]

As Su Qiang was about to question the system, suddenly his head began to be flooded with millions of words, all about these techniques. This caused Su Qiang to experience the worst headache of his entire fucking life, almost causing him to pass out.

“Fuck… System, firstly, how is that a ‘short amount of pain.’, and secondly, why doesn’t it hurt when I learn techniques directly bought from the system?”

[Ding! Responding to host: There is one major reason for this. The skill that host has required, isn’t a martial, nor cultivation technique. But is instead, a skill of a completely different origin, not even of this world. The books skills weren’t even in the system yet. Due to this, system had not yet acquired the necessary means to counter the sudden head pain.]

“Oh.” After letting out a brief ‘oh’ to acknowledge what the system said, he began to think.

“System. I have an inquiry.”

[Ding! What is hosts question?]

“What kind of items can I store in that storage ring in my inventory?”

[Ding! Host can store anything that is not alive.]

“Good.”

“Skeleton Rising!” Su Qiang yelled.

Suddenly, amongst the mountain of dead corpses, roughly one and a half thousand bodies began to stand, their flesh, blood, muscles, you name it, everything except for their bones, began to swiftly disintegrate.

Quickly, there was an army of skeletons clad in weak demon beast leather standing amongst the mass of dead bodies.

Not wanting to draw anymore attention than necessary, Su Qiang quickly stored the skeletons inside his interspatial ring.

Next, it was time for the zombies.

As Su Qiang activated the skill for creating the zombies, over 300 cultivators stood up again, as if nothing had happened. Swiftly, their previously ripped and jagged clothes were ripped off of their bodies, and shiny silver armour appeared to replace it. Not only this, but the system also created a sea of silver weapons for them, ranging from swords, to gauntlets. This was purely to play off of what they were most skilled in.

After this, like before Su Qiang stored them all away.

Casting the reanimation skill, only a total of 5 undead were created.

These undead all looked like they originally did, the young patriarch, the two middle aged elders that were also on flying swords, and even the two men who were riding in on the elephant demon beasts.

However, there was one thing that was off. They all had the same colour eyes. Azure. All of them had azure coloured eyes.

Right as Su Qiang finished thinking this, suddenly, their clothes swiftly disappeared, being replaced with a golden version of the armour that the aforementioned zombies had.

“Good.” Su Qiang lightly mumbled, before storing them away as well.

Right as Su Qiang finished with all of these undead, a notification dinged very loudly in his head.

[Ding! Congratulations to host for breaking through to the King Realm of cultivation! Host has now entered the True Immortal Realm!]

[Ding! Host has been rewarded a new gift package!]

[Ding! Due to hosts increase in power, the ‘White Tiger’ bloodline has been awakened!]

[Ding! Due to hosts divine bloodline being awoken, hosts strength has increased. Host will now have 1.3x the power of a normal person at the same realm as him.]

[Ding! Due to hosts unique bloodline power, new bloodline skills have been learnt!]

[Ding! Due to host stepping into the King Realm, host can now fly without a flying sword!]
