Serendipitous Wedding. - Volume 1 Chapter 17

He was still lying on top of Claira, while Claira was over the phone. He was so close to her that he could hear Ivan’s voice too.

“Claira! I am not coming! I was drunk when I proposed you. I wanted to make out with you and you were not ready for it. You wanted wedding, commitment and kids. I was not ..hic..ready for that!” Spoke Ivan in a stressful voice.

Jack frowned again looking at Claira. Girl you want kids? Tell me? How many you want? I’ll give you one in every nine months, just marry me!!

“How could you Ivan!! What will I tell everybody now!!? You ruined everything. You should have told me earlier. I never forced you at all. I asked you everything! You said yes to it!! What will I do!!?” Claira looked nervousely at the now slowly moving cruise which was slowly crossing the port. As the port was leaving, so was Claira’s sense of thinking. Her nerves were now getting frozen!

“Listen Claira! I don’t know what will you…hic…do..!! Just tell them that the groom missed the cruise or maybe find somebody from the crowd and marry him. It is none of my business. Also, don’t you dare, bring up my name, or I will f.u.c.k.i.n.g ruin your career. I am hanging up now!” Beep …. Beep…. Beep….!

Claira starred at the phone in horror and then at the port. “Ohh!! Damn!!! What will I do now?” Claira looked around in confusion and suddenly her eyes fell on Jack, who was still lying on top of her.
