Serendipitous Wedding. - Volume 1 Chapter 34

Stephy sat besides her sister, embrassing her in her arms. “No! You would not. I know you very well big sister. But how did it happen?”

Claira titled her head, and placed it on Stephy’s thighs and bursted into tears. “He said he just wanted to make out with me, that is why proposed me in a drunk condition. He…He never had plans to get married to me any how!”

Stephy glared at the girl in shock, her mind filling up with anger. “He is such a jerk!! No wonder mom never liked him. She always sensed sonething under-handed about him!” The girl patted her elder sister’s head lovingly, with her hands.

“Yes Stephy! I should have listened to mom and dad. They always told me that Ivan would cheat me, but I was too blind in love!” Claira bursted into terrible crying.

Stephy bent down a little, kissing her sister’s head. “There! There! Big sister! Don’t cry! That man did not deserve you at all. In a way, it is good that you did not get married to him. Imagine he cheating on you with other woman after the wedding. It is worse. You are saved from a disaster sister!” Stephy tried to console her sister. Suddenly, today their roles had switched. It was always Claira who guided her and consoled her, but today Claira needed a support and Stephy was determined to help her dear big sister.

“I know that Steph! But what will I do now. I do not have the heart to tell it to mom and dad. All the friends, relatives and media, they will make fun of our family!” Claira sobbed uncontrollably and looking at her condition, Stephy wanted to now cry her heart out, too.

“Don’t worry! We will think of a suitable excuse. Maybe you fell ill or something. Or Ivan’s mother died or maybe any other excuse!” Stephy tried to reason out an excuse, but she knew she was failing tremedously.

“It will not work Steph! People will know the truth! How will I find a groom, in these two days? Day after tomorrown, at 1:00 pm is my wedding!” Claira sank deeper in her sister’s thigh feeling extreme remorse.

“Ahh! Yes! That is actually a good idea sister! Hire a groom or get him to sign a valid contract!” Stephy’s face brightened up a bit, hearing the idea.
