Serendipitous Wedding. - Volume 1 Chapter 40
“Gosh! I did not know, you could be so romantic! I did not expect such a thing from you.” Claira looked at the boy in surprise.
“You hardly know me Claira!” Jack smirked and signalled one of the employees to open the transparent box, inside which the bracelet was placed.
“Oh! Wow! I can actually see it?” Claira grinned as the employee came ahead and swiped open the lock of the box. He took out the bracelet from the box and handed it over to Jack.
“You can wear it too, if you want for a while!” Jack smiled holding the beautiful bracelet.
“Ahh! No! That will not be fair on my part. Your future wife might not want to wear something, that has already been worn by somebody.” Claira looked at the shining large uncut diamonds, along with drop shaped emerald.
“Haha! I am just telling you to try it for a few seconds. It is fine.” Jack held out the bracelet towards the girl’s arm.
“Ohkk!” Claira held out her hand and Jack carefully placed the bracelet on the girl’s slender wrists and closed its lock, in the process not missing out a chance to graze his fingers to her skin.
“There, it is all done. Now have a look!” Jack smiled, looking at the beautiful reflection of diamonds in the girl’s big eyes.
“Oh! My Gosh! This is beautiful Jack. I have never anything so royal and classy.” Claira then held the price tag to read it, and her eyes popped out instantly. “Gosh! Look at the price. This is whopping 400 million dollars after all!!”
“Haha! Yes! The diamonds are uncut and huge. This was actually a british queen’s possession, was was later sold off at an auction and bought by my father, for my mother, a day before they died. It was her birthday after two days!” Jack smiled sadly, looking at the bracelet.
Claira looked at the sad man and patted his hand. “I am sure, somebody truelly worthy will find this bracelet in her hand. You will be blessed with a very good wife!” Claira opened the lock of the bracelet and handed it over to Jack. “Thank you Jack! I loved it!”
