Serendipitous Wedding. - Volume 1 Chapter 44
“Ohh!!? A proper wedding!!?” Jack gaped at the girl in surprise.
“Yes!! He went happily bonkers over the idea, and I got a hint that he will not leave me after a month! So I ran away.” Claira took another sip and frowned.
“Hmm…What ….a..about others?” Jack placed the empty glass on the shelf and turned his head to call the waiter. “Excuse me doctor!!”
Claira laughed at the man’s words, not expecting such humour out of Jack.
The bartender smiled and came upto the man. “Yes, dear patient? How is the heart break pain?”
“It is better doctor. Ca… Can I have another strong dose of your medicinal drink!!” Jack smiled.
“Sure!!” The bardender chuckled and walked away.
Claira was looking at the man and smiling. “The other blonde man already had a girlfriend. I had told him about my wedding indirectly and the man was ready to break up with his girlfriend for it. I was stunned, when I got to know about his girl friend. How could he leave her two years of girlfriend, in just two minutes. I rejected him too!!” Claira took another sip, resting her chin on her hand.
“Ahh!! How bad is that!” Jack made a sad face, trying to hide his happiness, which was engulfing his mind. “Then what about Mike? You know that blonde hottie, over their. You were talking to him for a very long time.” Jack pointed towards a blonde man, talking to a girl.
“Ahh!! He was the worst. He wanted to spend a night with me. He was ready to get married to me, but he wanted to be in a physical relation with me all this while.” The girl frowned in disgust.
“Oh! So you rejected him too?” Jack spoke with a poker face.
The bartender placed another glass of the same drink, smiling at the two.
“Thank you doctor!” Jack nodded.
“Offcourse! I can not just sleep around with men like that. I need to love the man, to sleep with him!” Claira took another few big sips, thinking about her wedding. But the drink had calmed her down a bit. “This drink actually works. I feel so less stressful. As if now I give a damn to what ever happens!”
“I told you!” Jack clinked his glass with the girl and they both took a sip from their respective glasses, smiling at each other.
