Vivian’s POV:

I was walking around the castle trying to take in my surroundings but I couldn’t it was like a spell or something making me forget who I was and all I had left was my name and a king to look after me.

I always wanted to become a princess and live in a castle but now I’m just living in a castle for who knows how long.

“Hello Vivian.” It was Collin who said it behind me, “Why have you left your room?”

“I wanted to just take a little walk around the castle.” I replied to him, “That’s all.”

“Oh okay, and here I thought I told my guards to guard your door but it seems they didn’t listen!” He said getting angry.

“Hey hey look I’m okay right, I’m not harmed at all.” Looking at him in the eyes, “It’s not like I tried to leave right?” He pulled me towards him and he was hugging me and sniffing me.

“You’re right.” He said “but what if you were harmed?” Looking at me with a concerned face.

“I know but-”

“But you need to go back to your room and stay in their until I say you can.” I could tell that he was becoming possessive and I was not in the mood for that. So I followed him back to my room and he came and went as he pleased he brought me food and I was hoping that he was protecting me.

It felt like years since I’ve last seen the outside world, I’ve been cooped up in this room which feels like 2 years now.

“Darling,” As there was a knock on the door, “can I come in?”

“Sure.” I replied. I saw the door open to see Collin with food and he placed it on the bed and he bent down to face me. “When can I leave this room to see the outside world?”

“Only for a few more days okay.” I nodded to him. “And I have to tell you something.”

“What is it?” I looked at him confused. I was wondering what he has to tell me.

“We are…” he paused and he didn’t say anything.

“We are what?” I had asked him.I wanted to know what it was so badly. Then he left me hanging there for an answer. I got up and I ran towards the door and realized that if I banged on the door he would do something that I would never forget.

“Darling?” I heard Collin speak on the other side of the door, “I know your there I can here your heart beet, and your breathing.”

I didn’t answer. “Know answer huh? Well that’s okay love. I hope you know that we are mated to each other.” When I heard that I fell and hit the dresser, Collin came barging in and hugged me. “It’s okay.”

“How.”

“When I touch you I feel like I need to protect you.” When he said that I could feel my self blush. “Oh darling I hope that you can understand and besides you’ve been frozen in time for 6 months now.” Six Months, I have been frozen in time for six months?!

“Yes, I had a witch freeze you in time. I know that sounds cruel of me but I think it was for the best for you.”

I was pissed off that he froze me in time for six months. He was petting my head to calm me down and I fell asleep in his arms, when I woke up I was in a bed but when I sat up I was in a completely different room.

“Hello sunshine.”

“Hello.”
