Shen Yue Reborn - Chapter 8 Papas Pizzeria 12
Shen Yue started to teach Niu Wang over at the hill, how to punch and kick, the proper way of utilising his muscles in the entire body to deal damage in the most efficient way.
The reason why Shen Yue decided to teach Niu Wang was because looking at Niu Wang’s background and the treatment he gets, Shen Yue sees main character potential in this fatty. A fat farmer’s kid who is weak and gets bullied by noble kids, that sound straight out of a eastern fantasy novels. Shen Yue wants to form a ‘friendship’ with him so that he can use him to help Shen Yue out.
Shen Yue knows that he has a death flag, that’s why he needs all the help he can get to destroy that death flag otherwise it will end the same way as before. Even if Shen Yue killed Nie Li then Nie Li would surly come back since Nie Li has the fabled ‘Plot Armor’; furthermore Nie Li is MadSnail’s son/creation, if he were to kill Nie Li then he would make MadSnail his enemy. Having an omnipotent and beyond godly author as an enemy surely wasn’t a wise choice.
HIYAA
the fatty punched like a bitch, zero impact, zero posture and zero determination.
“Oi! Fatty! Listen…You punch like a bitch, no offence. When you punch, don’t tuck your thumb inside the fist keep it outside between the fist and your second knuckle. Your stance is also wrong, don’t keep your feet close, create an arch with your legs, one foot front and one foot further but not too much back, shoulder width apart. The foot at the back tilt it slightly sideways and make it parallel to your other foot. Have your arms huddled together close to your face. Take a step, that step generates power and at the same time punch but put all of your weight into that punch, also the faster the punch the stronger it is.”
Shen Yue was teaching Niu Wang the basic boxing punch and stance for know as Shen Yue can’t be bothered teaching him other more advanced martial arts. It is not that boxing is in any way inferior to those martial arts simply put it that boxing is more simpler than for example judo, where judo you have to use both arms and legs to take your opponent down whilst boxing requires fists.
Three Months later…
The sun was rising, on top of a certain manor peak, there was a boy meditating on a wooden block that was balancing on the high top of his house. Eyes closed and still as a statue as if he was dead.
Suddenly Shen Yue opened his eyes and jumped up and landed on the lower flat area of the Shen Manor roof like a ninja with a back flip.
Shen Yue started meditating a few months ago, his master said it was to temper and contain his mind and to learn how to calm his emotions, he repeated his master’s words, ‘The more you lose control of yourself the worse the situation gets’. Shen Yue tried to make it harder for himself by meditating on a block of wood on top of the highest point (on his house), he was imitating a certain ramen loving blonde who also did the same.
The reason Shen Yue did this was so that the slightest failure in contain his emotions would lead to him falling down, which happened many times. Many people around the city who walked past the Shen Manor would sometimes see him balancing on the wooden board. Some were feeling scared, some anxious and some astounded; so much so that they they nearly dazed off.
“What is that kid doing! Was he punished by the Shen Family? I can’t believe they would do such a thing.” said a bystander that walked past.
“I know. The Shen Family look like noble saints but in actuality are a bunch of scum. I heard that someone said they worked with the dark guild.” said a person that was walking with the other bystander.
“Keep quiet! If they hear you then you’ll face a lot of problems.” said the first bystander as they both walked away from the Shen Manor.
Shen Yue went to the kitchen. The kitchen was filled with cupboard full of ingredients, kitchen filled with pans, bowls, golden cutlery. Everything in the kitchen looked extravagant even the stove, the stove was powered by inscriptions and only the rich, the Shen Family, could afford it.
In the kitchen was Chang Jiao Rao and his fellow chef Zang, who was also fat and had tattoos that littered his arm. They looked as if they just about finished thousands servings, both were tired panting but they tried hard not to show it as they didn’t want to show weakness.
‘father really does have a big appetite doesn’t he, soon enough those fatties will die due to exhaustion’
The reason Shen Yue came to the kitchen early in the morning was not just to meditate but to try and experiment something he alay wanted to do but had never the chance to do. Shen Yue wanted to bring new cuisine from his world to this world because Shen Yue knows that he could make lots money from it.
Even tough he could have done it before six months ago when he reincarnated but Shen Yue wanted to become a forger as he likes weapons, he thinks they are cool.
Shen Yue wants to start his own pizzeria. Shen Yue’s one of top five foods is pizza with the first being spaghetti. Shen Yue was sure that if he had his own restaurant then people would swarm there everyday to have a taste of his food. That’s why he asked his dad if he could get a three story building restaurant for himself with good chefs and waiters.
[Flashback few months ago]
“Father.” said Shen Yue looking at his dad who was just about to walk past him.
“What is it Yue’er, I haven’t got a lot of time. I have to meet with the other family heads.”
“Father I have a request. Can you get me a three story restaurant with good chefs and service?”
“Why would you want a restaurant.” questioned Shen Hong.
“I have good dish ideas I think they can be a success.” smiled Shen Yue.
‘good dish, huh! I bet this kid would fail the minute he would open his store. If I’d had asked him to join Star Restaurant then he would probably screw it up. I’ll let him open the restaurant only to make him realise life is not easy. Life is not a game! Son!’ said Shen Hong within his mind. ” Fine I’ll get you that three story restaurant.” smiled Shen Hong, it would look like a normal smile to most people but in actuality it was a sneer of mockery.
“Thanks father!” said Shen Yue as he hugged his father.
Shen Hong looked slightly embarrassed and screamed at his son, “let go boy! Your father doesn’t swing that way!” obviously he was joking but he was still embarrassed as hugging was not good in this traditional society; if they’d been seen by the public they would have surly become an embarrassment, even if it was father and son.
[End of Flashback]
“Young Master, what are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be at bed coz I never seen you this early before.” Asked Chang Jiao Rao as he eyed the small Shen Yue that was up to his abdomen (Shen Yue was 1.3m tall).
“I’m experimenting something, do you want to help me?” asked Shen Yue.
“Sure Young Master Shen Yue, we would love to help you!” said fat Chef Zang as he smiled with his yellow teeth.
‘ damn, I’ll need to teach them about brushing there teeth, look at them. Filthy!’ Shen Yue whispered whispered within his mind.
“Yes we would!” said Chang Jiao Rao.
And so Shen Yue got every ingredient he could get as of now. He had tomatoes, milk, rice flour and everything else that was needed except cheese, he’ll have to make that. Luckily he remembers how to make farmer’s cheese.
First Shen Yue had the fatties prepare the pots, pans and stove flame for him. Shen Yue emptied a gallon of milk in a large pot. Few hours later and the edges started to bubble, Shen Yue got some lemon juice and dropped a few table spoons inside. Then he moved the pot away from the flame to the side and left it to curdle for twenty minutes.
Whilst he was doing this, the fatties were intrigued at what Shen Yue was doing and where taking clances at the milk that was curdling into cheese, they tried to take a tinny bit to try but their hands got smacked. Ouch! by Shen Yue’s hand relentlessly.
Shen Yue then filtered the cheese from the liquid by having a clean bowl with a towel on top so that the cheese remains on top and the liquid soaks to the bowl. Tada! Cheese was made, in all of this world’s history, he had just invented cheese.
He let the fatties have a try a very tiny portion of the cheese.
“WOW! That’s new and tastes delicious! What was that!” Said Chef Zang
“Yeah, I want to try more. Can I?” said Chang Jiao Rao like a pathetic glutton that he is.
“NO! I’ll not let you eat it all, I still need to experiment!” Shouted Shen Yue at Chang Jiao Rao, then looked at Chef Zang “That was cheese, something I can only make, I once accidentally made it once by playing with milk, it tastes great doesn’t it.”
Muh
both the fatties nodded their heads like a swing, they liked cheese.
Shen Yue finally got to making the pizza, he told Chef Zang to make the dough, he told him to have to have the rice flour mixed with water and start mixing it with his hands until it gets sticky and then he has to make a ball from it, Chef Zang founded easy as he makes rice flour dough everyday.
Shen Yue then got the rolling pin that he asked from his Master to make for him from wood. He started to flatten the dough and use the rolling pin to flatten and make the dough into a thin circle that was as big as two plates.
He then got lots of tomatoes and asked Chang Jiao Rao to mix them all together until they turned turned into a ‘sea of red liquid’. Chang Jiao Rao mixed the tomatoes like a super duper fast mixer and managed to mix the tomatoes into puree without spilling any.
Whilst that was happening, Shen Yue got Chef Zang to flatten the cheese and cut it all into thin strings like the pro master chef he is.
Shen Yue got a spoon and spread the puree on the base of pizza, then he got a pile of cheese strings and rained them down upon the base, covering most of the base.
Shen Yue put the pizza into the oven and waited ten minutes for the pizza to finally be done.
Vualaaa! This worlds very first pizza, created by the master Shen Yue.
