She’s That Knight Known As Zero - Chapter 236
Leo who was left alone for a few days was shocked to see the king and the queen visit him in the night.
Thinking about it, it is indeed just right for them to be there by this time. They were busy for the day and the time for them to be free would be at the night.
He couldn’t help but to stare at Haruka. How long has it been? The person who helped his childhood friend get out from his shell as a stoic prince. This person whom they all thought left for good.
No, come to think of it, he too was someone who others thought have left them for good. So basically, the two of them were quite the same.
“I actually don’t know what to tell to you. Or how I am supposed to greet you, it’s really has been so long,” Haruka smiled before speaking.
Akihiro pulled out a chair for her as he stood beside her. Leo, on the other hand, still couldn’t speak as he watch the two of them and looked at Haruka’s stomach. Soon he burrowed his brows, her stomach was obviously just a few months and if he was not mistake it almost coincides with the time of the final war.
“You conceived right after the war?” for his words, it was a rather random question.
He just thought of it, what if she was pregnant during the war, then surely she would have a miscarriage. He couldn’t help but feel horrified upon realizing that. He might have been the reason for the miscarriage of his bestfriend’s wife.
Seeing his look, Akihiro understood what was going on in his mind.
“Before the war, a month or so,” he gave the answer quite straightforwardly.
Leo became more baffled upon hearing this.
“I know what you are thinking, but this child was saved by the same person who saved your life,” Haruka was the one who spoke this time as she held her tummy gently with a gentle smile on her lips.
“That is also the reason for our visit this time,” she looked up and told him seriously.
Leo knew that what they’re about to tell him must be something very serious. At the same time he felt that he really wouldn’t want listen or hear it. He looked at them silently without giving any answer.
Haruka looked at Akihiro, telling him to start explaining through her eyes. Akihiro first took a deep breath before leaning by the bed side table as if needing a support for he might collapse any moment once he tells Leo everything.
Leo looked at him, then at Haruka. And for some baffling reason he saw what passed through their eyes. Pain.
“The one who saved you and this baby. The new hero of the kingdom came from a future of another world. And now she had journeyed once again.”
Leo nodded, this was something he had told him already.
“Indeed she came from a future of another world but she too came from this world.”
Now Leo was confused, she came froma different world’s future but she came from this one as well?
“Her name was Eureka. Given to her by the people who took care of her. She was born in this world before arriving to that future. There she was trained to be the savior of this world. For her to be the one who would save this world.”
“She returned here more than 10 years ago and started planning out how to take down Juzo. Through so many trials she was able to succeed. Before using her final move she had separated you and Juzo. By other means she was able to save your life that was on the brink of death.”
Leo understood how he was saved but he felt like he was missing something.
“Why didn’t you tell me these sooner? Her name and who she-”
He stopped continuing the question, ‘who she is’. Instead he asked, “Why was she chosen?”
Akihiro and Haruka looked at each other before Akihiro looked back at him and answering his question, “Because she was a dual weilding ability user. Magma and Ice.”
The room fell silent, Leo’s mind was in chaos. The reason why she was chosen, her identity was as clear as day to him. He looked at Akihiro and Haruka and his heart and mind were in chaos.
“We came here to tell you everything. And that we are, all of us, are fine. Though sad, we are fine.”
Haruka looked up at Akihiro as she took a deep breath, she slowly stood up and with Akihiro they bid Leo goodbye. Leo who still had a blank look in his face couldn’t reply as his mind raced with the information he just received.
From the shadows, Dai watched him silently.
*****
The morning before Akihiro and Haruka’s visit, Raven went and inform both Layla and Azusa regarding this decision, to which the two have acknowledged knowing full well that Leo needed this as well. To face everything the world has to throw to him.
“I just hope he wouldn’t do anything drastic,” Azusa couldn’t help but say worriedly.
Raven was silent for moment before looking at the two of them, “I’ll watch over him. I know sir Dai is already tasked to watch over him. But I shall do the same, to make sure nothing bad happens.”
Without him continuin, Azusa knew full well what is the continuation of his words, ‘Eureka would have done the same if she was here. With different people involved.’
Layla thanked him before they went their separate ways. Azusa also had to say goodbye to Mamoru for he needs to return to his duties already.
The days they were in the kingdom felt like hell for Mamoru and Hideyoshi for Raven drilled everything he can because of their limited time. He had trained the two of them.
They were of course complaining but his words made them oblige.
With a serious look and without looking at any of them he spoke, “Do you really think that this peace would last long? Have you forgotten about that post ability user?”
They couldn’t help but ask about that man, he was already sent to the border for his punishment right?
“Do you think he is the only one who thinks that way? Do you think this kingdom is the only place that has those kind of people?”
“What do you mean Raven? What are you trying to point out?” Mamoru asked seriously.
“Rebellion.”
Hideyoshi and Mamoru looked at each other upon hearing Raven’s conjecture. They have no desire to laugh it off as a joke or to say that Raven was overthinking things. They knew that this is a posibility.
If those people get together and decided that they hate this world then surely a rebellion would appear which would allow a different kind of war.
“We can’t be too lax, just because one war had just ended. Being one of the pillars of our kingdom, we have to think about this as well.”
Hideyoshi and Mamoru nodded in unison as they finally turned serious in training no matter how spartan Raven teaches. Without their abilities, it could be said that they are currently far weaker than they were before and when something bad indeed comes up, then they wouldn’t be able to defend at all.
Just as Raven have thought about this, Natsuki did as well, even Theo who have seriously taken up his duty as the crowned prince. Through repeated reading and analyzing he thought of such a possibility.
Without much thought, the two have started instructing their subordinates as well to train harder. The people need to become stronger with everything they got. No one was to be ostracized.
Those who wanted to learn, let them learn, those who only knew how to complain then let them be. If they indeed become rebellious then it would just be easier for the righteous ones to defeat them.
Rino obviously thought of this as well. But knowing that Raven was the one leading the knights together with Yukimura he didn’t bother informing them.
The three kings were obviously delighted seeing their heirs act in such a way. They felt much more at ease to leave the kingdom to these young ones. They have obviously left the after math decision to Rino and the others.

On another side.
“You do know you have to wake up right? There are so many people waiting for you. And you have promised them as well, that you will return to them,” the woman gently said to the sleeping girl in front of her as she wipe a damp cloth on her face.
She had been doing this since the moment this girl was brought here. SHe would help cut her nails, clean her face, change her clothes. She always do this as memories run through her mind. At times she couldn’t help but to tear up. Just like now.
“You’re crying again,” the man said as he put his hand on her shoulder.
“I just couldn’t help it, I just want her to be happy,” the woman replied with a smile.
