She’s That Knight Known As Zero - Chapter 295
“Indeed that would have been better, but I will tell you this not because I want you to accept me again for the effect. But to explain to you that there are things that I have no hold of.”
Eureka’s voice were no longer in pleading or weak one. She started being agitated as well. She was selfish in so many ways but if they saw how much in pain she was when she tried to remember they would surely stop even if it was her wish.
“The past month, have you asked them what I have done for the past month?”
Raven didn’t reply.
“I was cooped up in the room. You all might think that it was because I was confused but no. I was doing my best to remember everything. Can you see my body now? Did you think I was this thin back when you last saw me?”
Raven finally noticed that she had indeed became even thinner.
“If I left you the letter and saw the effect on me, you would surely stop. You would surely not let me remember. I was in so much pain that I thought I was going to die. My head hurts so much that it felt like it was being split into two.”
Her agitation increased as she started feeling wronged somehow that Raven wouldn’t forgive her at all.
“The first time I started reading the recollections of the past, the first words already sent me to unconsciousness. Upon waking up I had forgotten what I just read.”
“But I persevered, I persevered and gritted my teeth. For the whole month, the only thing that kept me going was the fact that my past self trusted me. She trusted me that I will keep going.”
Raven’s anger slowly dissipated as he listen to her.
“Yes when I asked you if I was still a human. It was the same questions I have asked back then. My past self have asked herself multiple times if she was still human.”
“I’ve heard about it from my mother and father, that it was the trigger for your decision. But still what I want was to remember. It was not because I want to remember my ruthless self but I want to remember all of you.”
She came here to apologize to him but right now she started getting mad that she was even smacking his chest with her fists.
“I know it was wrong of me that I have hurt all of you. But just that one question and you gave up on making me remember. What if you all saw waht I went through? You would have BURNT THAT LETTER!!”
Raven was taken aback by her agitation. He never saw her this mad, even if she were to get mad in the past she still have control over her emotions. But right now she just let everything go.
“Maybe I have that feeling from back then that is why I have left the letter to someone else. What am I supposed to do then? Make all of you forget about me? I chose what I chose because I no longer WANTED TO GO THROUGH THOSE STUPID ACTS AGAIN!! I’M TIRED OF BEING FORGOTTEN!!”
Her fists didn’t stop hitting him, Raven could only accept it.
His anger was finally gone, she had hurt them but it was not because she wanted to but because she took everything into consideration. She took the actions they might do before making her own move.
Somehow he knew what she said was the truth, they would have surely burnt the letter and left her alone if they were to witness how much in pain she was.
“I persevered and held everything in, I made sure no one will witness it because my letter to myself was what I truly felt. I wanted to remember all of you. I want to spend the next years with all of you.”
She stopped hitting him and instead held unto his clothes as she look up at him, “Please don’t push me away.”
“You really are selfish,” he said with gritted teeth before he pulled her into a tight hug.
“I know,” was her reply.
They remained in such position for who knows how long.
“ACHOO!!!”
Her sneeze was what brought them back to reality.
“We’re both wet, let’s return and get changed,” he let her go and said.
Eureka nodded and the two of them started walking back side by side. But just as they enter the city center, Hideyoshi came running to them.
An obvious confusion appeared on his face upon seeing their clothes but the situation was urgent that he needs to push this aside for now.
“The rebels suddenly grouped together and started attacking the northern border. They were able to get through for there was only few knights over there. They are currently on their way to the kingdom,” he urgently reported.
“I understand, I will go there first while you assemble the others and bring them with you,” Raven instantly said full of seriousness.
Hideyoshi nodded and glanced at Eureka who was looking all calm, before he left the two of them.
“Lend me two swords,” she then said to Raven.
Raven looked at her as she continued, “Other than you and my parents no one else knew my memories have returned. This is a good way to inform everyone that the knight known as zero has returned.”
Raven couldn’t help but smile upon hearing her words. The two of them then went ahead to meet the rebels that finally decided to wreck havoc.

“What’s wrong Hideyoshi?” Feena noticed something was amiss with Hideyoshi as they travelled to follow Raven.
Hideyoshi, Feena, Azusa and the new generals and captains and some knights were the ones to intercept the rebels.
Yukimura and the other old ones were left in the kingdom if ever there would be another group to attack on another side.
“When I found Raven a while ago, he was with Eureka and the two of them were wet. I don’t know but I felt like something was different. Plus it was decided that we will be leaving her alone so I have no idea why they were together.”
“When I arrived at the castle a while ago I heard that Eureka wanted to go around the city before she resumed her duties. They must have met by the cliff or something. And knowing that she can’t swim, an accident must have happened,” Feena thought about it before she gave her own explanation.
“Maybe, it must just be my imagination,” Hideyoshi’s brows were still furrowed.
He couldn’t get it off his mind that the moment he saw them together what he saw was not the current Eureka but the one whom they were with for so long in the past.
That image somehow overlapped with the one beside Raven a while ago. Despite her calm look and her usual demeanor upon returning, he never felt that way towards her.
“We can check on her once we finished this mission. Right now it is a little bit chaotic for the rebels suddenly attacked. The fact that their plan didn’t go as they wished must have snapped their patience,” Feena commented.
“They were doing their best to not group together in order not to arouse any suspicion but in the end they actually lost patience,” Azusa who was listening to the two of them, added.
“But when you saw Eureka, how is she? Was she depressed,” she then asked Hideyoshi.
They never got the chance to see her after what had happened with her and Hikari. She had been in her room all this time and they tried their best not to interact with her.
“She seemed to have become thinner but other than that everything seems the usual her,” Hideyoshi replied.
“Uhmmm, sir, the Eureka you were talking about was the aide of the princess, right?” another general finally spoke upon listening to them.
“Yes, why?”
“You all seem to be well acquainted with her but no one knows where she came from. We were actually wondering about it,” he replied.
It had been circulating within the knights about who Eureka was. They’ve heard about how she stopped the arrow that was going to hit the queen when everyone was a few seconds too late to notice it.
And then hearing their higher ups talking about it as if they knew her so well, the knights were baffled by this. Who was she and how did she had such great capabilities?
“Let’s just say that we do know her and that she entirely has no past,” Hideyoshi replied.
They didn’t want her to remember so obviously the others must not know of who she was as well.
They then heard shouts coming from close by and assumed that they are already close. Yet upon reaching their destination, despite the number of rebels which reached two to three hundred.
Not one of them were able to get past through two people. One was Raven who everyone knew was a very strong person.
The other was a white haired lady whose hair was ponytailed. She was holding two swords and her movement was as fast as Raven or even faster than he was.
But the most eye catching about her was the blood dripping down her swords and her clothes that has some blood on it as well.
Raven has the same appearance as her but the aura surrounding her felt colder.
“Goddess of Death?” a knight couldn’t help but comment.
