Karen and the other ladies bit their lips in order not to scream.

Everyone was completely taken by surprise with Eureka’s move. Not in their wildest dreams did they imagine that she was that bold in regards to relationsh.i.p.s.

Raven could only stare at her as well. He didn’t move until Eureka moved away from him.

Eureka suddenly looked like she was stunned. Before her face turned beet red. Seeing this, everyone knew what she did was purely in instinct.

“I… That’s…”

It really was purely her body moving on its own. When she thought about it and realized that Raven was the only one who never had a clouded suspicion of her.

Knowing that, a lot of times, it was him who explained to their friends, allowing them to understand her. Knowing that no matter how long it was, he waited for her. Her body just moved.

She poured more tea in her cup as she drank in embarrassment, if there was only the two of them, she wouldn’t be this much embarrassed. But alas, their friends are present.

“Should I be thankful that my parents are not here?” she couldn’t help but ask as she looked at Raven.

Seeing her reaction that was totally not her usual, he couldn’t help but laugh.

“If I remember correctly, the first time we kissed, I took you by surprise as well,” he replied trying to disperse the awkward atmosphere that emerged in her.

“FIRST KISS!!??”

Obviously Karen, the girl she had always been, jumped in surprise upon hearing that the two of them have shared a kiss already.

“Be careful!!” Rino who was also shocked was even more shock upon seeing his wife jumping in surprise.

“Ooops, sorry I was just too excited.”

Rino could only shake his head as he look at Eureka teasingly. Eureka tried her best not to look at her brother.

But soon something else appeared on her mind and she somehow lost the happiness she just felt upon knowing that she had finally returned.

“Can we spar?” she just looked at Raven and asked him.

She felt like she was different.

In the past she would never be this emotional or anything. She had always been in control, yet after regaining her memories and finally explaining everything to them, she felt like she was changing.

Today she even cried more than she did in her last stay in this world. She had cried so much that the ruthless her, she thought of herself was starting to crumble.

*CLANG*

Her mind was in chaos that she didn’t realize when they arrived in the garden or how the others dispersed. She was in so much thought that she only realized everything when her sword was sent flying away.

She then felt a smack on top of her head, “Why are you so distracted? You would have scolded us if we did this in the past.”

After she asked him for a spar, he felt how distracted she had become. He tried speaking to her but in the end got no response, it was only her body that was moving.

“I’m changing and it scares me,” she looked up at him and said straight in his eyes.

“My emotions, I was once able to control it full well. Yet after getting back my memories, despite the short time, I know I am starting to lose control of it.”

She looked lost as she finished her sentence.

“Follow me,” Raven pursed his lips before pulling her by the hand.

Eureka just followed him as he walked towards the lake where they have always been.

The lake that have witnessed almost everything about their group.

“This is where you first cried right in front of all of us,” he didn’t let her hand go and just started speaking upon arrival.

“This is where I first realized that you are also a person with emotions. Someone who can also feel and be hurt.”

She just looked at him not knowing why he was speaking such words.

“Why are you being scared of your emotions? Why are you being scared of knowing that you can finally act based on your emotions as well. Shouldn’t you be happy?”

He looked down at her and smiled.

“But it doesn’t feel like it was me, as if I am becoming someone else.”

Raven shook his head as he placed both hands on her cheeks, “No, that just means you really are free. Free from all the constraints you have placed on yourself.”

“When you returned and found out that no one knows you, you somehow unconsciously wanted to protect yourself by having control over your emotions.”

“When you first cried here, you became scared of the fact that you might lose control, you acted like your emotions were sealed and used it as an excuse to stay away from everyone.”

“But all of those were just due to the fact that you don’t want to lose control of your abilities. You were scared that you might become the reason of the destruction of this world.”

“But all of that are gone now, all of that are over now.”

He rubbed her cheeks with his thumbs. A warm smile on his lips as he looked straight in her eyes.

For the first time since they met her, she looks like a lost child, not knowing what she should do.

“You grew up with tasks and orders everywhere. You grew up with a mission on your shoulders.”

“But now that all of those purposes are gone, you just returned to the person you should have been if all of these didn’t happen.”

“Don’t be scared Eureka, the you right now, is still you no matter how emotional you become. The changes in you was the result of you being free from everything.”

“That you can finally just be Eureka, a Eureka who can live and love freely without restrictions. Without fearing, without holding back, without all those negative things that scares you.”

Eureka could only stare at him, everything his saying made sense but at the same time it felt surreal to her.

Seeing that she was still lost, he gave her another smile before planting a soft warm kiss on her forehead.

“Don’t be scared, because no matter what changes might happen, I will be here by your side. No matter how much your personality change, I will be here discovering a new you with you.”

He then planted another soft kiss at the tip of her nose.

“Even if you become an entirely different person in front of everyone, I know deep down you are still you. The one and only Eureka, who did everything for all of us.”

“So don’t be scared because I will be here with you until the very end.”

His forehead then touched hers, “I fell in love with you not because of how you can control your emotions or how you fight. I fell in love with you because you face everything head on.”

“That is why I know, no matter what changes you yourself will witness, you will face it head on and confront it yourself.”

“And I will be with you as you do so, loving every bit of change that will happen to you.”

Eureka broke into a smile as she too placed both her hands on his cheeks. Their foreheads still touching.

“They asked me a while ago if I didn’t want to hear sweet nothings from you. In the end here you are doing just what they have asked.”

Raven’s brows furrowed but before he could speak she continued, “But who would have thought that even my heart would flatter with your words.”

“You were the one who never let his suspicion get the best of him and judge someone wrongly. I may have not noticed this in the past but for so long, I have actually been relying on you in explaining to the others.”

“You always watch over me and would instantly know when I am not feeling well. You lend a shoulder whenever I needed to cry. You lend an ear whenever I needed to speak.”

“You question me when I become unreasonable before deciding whether to turn your back on me or not.”

“Towards the end, it was still you who pulled me out of that slumber. Who allowed me to return and be with everyone once again.”

“For all of these, I have fallen in love with you, despite restricting myself and focusing on defeating Juzo and the others.”

“And maybe because I know you will always be there when I look back that this feeling never hindered me in my duties. That despite knowing that it is there, I was never distracted.”

After realizing something she chuckled, “No I think there was once, when I shielded you from the vines.”

She took a deep breath and once again looked straight in his eyes.

“I am very much regretful that I always make you wait and allowed you to suffer.”

“But still, if you declared that you will always be here for me. Then I shall only lean on you and rely on you in everything.”

“I will only love you and you alone from the moment I realized my emotions until the day that we will inevitably be separated by death.”

There are no tears in their eyes but both were bright with joy and happiness. They no longer needed to hold back, they no longer have the duties that stopped them in the past.

Now, there’s just the two of them, free from everything.

Eureka closed her eyes as Raven pressed his lips on hers as if sealing the vow they have just declared, as their hearts felt nothing more but happiness.

Pure happiness that the two of them are finally together. Now until the very end.

Wow. We have actually reached the end. When I started this, it was plainly but a past time. When one or two people started commenting and giving me review, I continued it. I didn’t even notice that I was actually doing it daily by then. I never even imagined that this would be contracted and for this I could only thank my readers.
