Sic Parvis Magna - Chapter 6 Proud Princess

”Axel go do this, Axel go do that, aarrgghhh dammit” said young man while walking in the Lilac Forest. This young man 5.8 ft tall, his red hair swept towards the back. He wears black shirt but buttons open all the way, he shows the world his hard earned muscles and his six pack. He has three scars in his chest, probably from some animal. He also carry a bag with his left hand. He wears slightly loose floral pattern trousers cut below the knee and collected halfway up the shin and large red sash around his waist instead of belt, his sash hold his sword in his left side also he wears a pair of sandals. This young mans name is Axel Cole. His teacher Warrod send him to this forest to take some seeds from a fruit tree for his garden. It was 3 year past as Warrod took him as a disciple and Axel now 14 years old. In those 3 years he worked really hard. He was now master of his haki and could use enbu subconsciously without focusing too much, while still tiring technique but his stamina is really good. He also unlock his truth-seeking orbs and now could use 4 of them, 5 more to go. While Axel talking to himself and walking through the forest he heard fighting noise and he start to run toward there. While running he cursed himself for his stupitidy, if he wasn’t distract himself he could pick this fight with his haki earlier. He saw a young girl was fighting 5 monster at the same time but he saw girl was getting tired if this continue girl will definetly lost her life. So Axel sent his conquering spirit towards the monsters and monsters stop attack towards the girl and look towards Axel while sweating. Girl was confused why monsters didn’t attack her and she too look towards where the monsters looking. She saw handsome red haired man with golden eyes raising his sword upwards, he looked like prince of the stories her brother read her when they are little, while she was charmed by the man, Axel send his attack towards monsters. ”Yakkodori” crescent moon like attack gone towards the one of monster and killed. After that Axel run towards the monsters and jump high towards them and hold his sword high while in the air he uses another attack, ”Fangs of the Flying Dragon” this attack looks like while Axel attack one enemy for other enemies another swords materialize and attack them at the same time. With this Axel kill all the monster and look towards the girl. She has long, straight black hair that falls to the middle of her back. Her hair cut princess style and she has also wears a white headband with a white ribbon tied at the middle in a bow, pointing straight up. She wears an elaborate blazer with gold lining, and a large collar, which is open to reveal a collared shirt and red tie underneath. The cuffs of this jacket are tucked into a pair of white wrist-high gloves. On her legs, she wears a pair of black tights, which are tucked into a pair of knee-high boots and sit under a short white frilled skirt. She also hazel eyes. While Axel was study her she was study him and she has little redness in her cheeks and she was breathing little hard because of tiredness.

”Are you okay?”

”Yes I’m. I could handle them but I use too much magic against other monsters that’s why I strain under their attacks.”

”Oookay anyways glad I could help. My name is Axel Cole by the way.”

”Kagura Mikazuchi”

”Are you from a guild?”

”Yes.”

”Are you here because of the job?”

”Yes now it’s over I should go.”

”Okay see you later.” with this they started to part ways but suddenly Kagura start to fell towards the ground but before she hit Axel caught her. Axel start to carry her in princess carry and took her someplace safe for camp. He start fire with dry woods and start to inspect Kagura thinking she is wounded. He didn’t find any wound so he think this is just magical exhaustion, he took 2 blanket from his bag, lay out one to the floor as a bed, with other cover her and use his bag as a pillow for her. He didn’t want to sleep and leave her like this vulnerable so he stayed awake. Kagura wake that moment and start to panic for a second. Then look towards the fire and saw Axel look towards the trees. She noticed blankets and smiled thoughtfulness a little bit. While he was waiting for her, he didn’t notice she woke up, for spending time he start to sing;

”Soft, the winds, like springtime’s fingers.

Soft, the rains, like heaven’s tears.

Soft, the years roll by in gladness,

Never hinting storms to come,

Never hinting whirlwinds ravage,

Rain of steel and battle thunder,

War to tear the heart asunder.

Back across the blood-red water,

Marching back with heads held high.

No surrender, arm or sword,

No surrender, heart or soul.

Honor all the Age shall know.”

While listening his singing Kagura slowly slept with a smile in her face. She didn’t understand but she felt secure with this man. Next morning she woke up smell of breakfast, first she thought she was still in the guild but suddenly she remembered last night and smiled. Axel noticed she was up and with a smile he said;

”Good morning. You wake up just in time, breakfast is ready.”

”Good morning and thank you for helping me.”

”Don’t worry about it. I’m sure you would do the same. Here, let’s eat and talk.”

”Again thank you Axel.”

”Like I said don’t worry by the way I noticed your sword so you’re sword user too?”

”Yes I use mainly my sword.”

”Cool do you wanna spar sometimes? I spar with my teacher but I used to old mans style.”

”That would be good.”

”Good but right now I can’t. My teacher waits me and probably your guild wonder where you are. So how about next month?”

”That would be acceptable. Do you know guild Mermaid Heel?”

”Hmm if I remember all female guild right?”

”Yes if you come there we could spar our training ground.”

”That’s good for me.”

”May I ask you something?”

”Sure what is it?”

”Is there a story behind the song you sing last night?”

”Aah you heard me eh. Well I read the story about an old tome, it goes like this;

Surrounding their king and the Red Eagle banner, they fought on, refusing surrender even when their doom became clear, their courage touched even Aedomon’s heart, and how at last he allowed the remnant to go free, turning his army back to Safer in honor of them.”

”Beautiful.”

”I know” Axel said with a smile and for a while neither of them speak.

”Anyway Kagura I have to go now, I don’t want to spend daylight.”

”Okay I have to go too. Goodbye Axel”

”Goodbye Kagura also next month I will come to your guild for spar.”

”Okay I will be waiting.” With that said they parted with a smile on their faces. For Axel he knows this girl one of the strongest swordsman or woman in this case, he thought with their spar he could be more stronger. Kagura couldn’t understand her feelings but she was feeling happy and smiling.
