Sinful Temptations - Volume 1 Chapter 36 Engagement Party
Mina sat in the back of the Limo with her mother. Her mother had always tough her to be fashionably late but not late enough to be disrespectful. That would be why she and her mother was an hour late to the event. Her father, had left out way ahead of them. Not before reminding her how much she disapprove of her getting married to the prince. Her father wanted her to marry a man that would worship him, not the other way around.
” Mina, fix your hair” Her mothers tone snapping her back into reality. Mina rubbed her hand over her hair flattening it and pushing any fly away hair out of her face. “How do you expect to keep Prince Naraka’s Favor being such a slob” Her mother snapped at her.
Her mother was the opposite of her father. Her mother liked money and power. Naraka was a gold mine to her. She wanted to benefit from much as possible from this. “You better not mess this up or I’ll tell your father about the little bastard your carrying”
My eyes snapped to her and my hand flew to my stomach. ” I won’t mess this up”
‘I couldn’t’

Naraka was sitting in a lounge area in the upper level. Next to him was Tzoker and his younger sister Mazikeen, whom they called Maze. He took back two shots of kaze. He hated attending events with his family. Being apart of the royal bloodline had it’s pro’s and con’s. And being the center of attention was definitely a con. They set separately from his parent’s, who sat on throne like chairs at the head of the room. There was line in front of them spanning the ballroom floor, with demons wanting to pay their respects hoping to gain strength or status.
It annoyed him, that his Father would encourage this behavior. He felt lesser demons should know their place and shouldn’t try to leach off his Father every-time he stepped out of his castle. ” It’s weird seeing a century old demon smile like that” Maze pointed at our father. Naraka couldn’t help but agree.
In his peripheral, he caught sight of the twins as they arrived. The wore a matching lavender and grey ensemble. Their other worldly beauty contributing to there dark fae lineage. Naraka watched them walk in followed in by Nahum, the Sin of Gluttony. He watched the entrance for a few minutes longer as if he was waiting for someone else to follow behind them. A cold feeling filled his chest as one of his father’s diplomats occupied that spot instead.
He took another shot of Kaze.’ This is gonna be a long night. ‘
