Single Stat System - Chapter 51
“Brat, did you see four people passing by in here?” So then, after a moment of gazing at each other, one of the men in black clothing, the one in the very front of which he appeared to be the leader of the group, asked coldly. He wasn’t friendly at all and it appeared that he was looking down at Sakim.
Sakim didn’t mind it though. He stared at them calmly for a moment before he replied, “Yes, I encountered four people on my way here,”
From the looks of it, these people in black clothing were chasing after the four people he met yesterday. But since he didn’t know those four, and they were also capable themselves as well, then what was there to hide the fact from these bandits? It was not as if they were related in any way, right?
But now that he thought about it, according to what he’d overheard from those four, they were being chased by bandits. Since that was the case, then these people in front of him were probably the bandits chasing them. What bad luck he had right now. It really made Sakim feel a little headache. He thought they were ninjas, but who would have thought that they were actually bandits.
“Is that so?” The bandit’s leader replied nonchalantly. Even so, he was astonished seeing that the other party was actually completely calm in front of them. He could see clearly that he was just an E-rank. And from the way he seemed, this guy had just received the System not long ago. Even his equipment was actually beginner’s equipment. Just where in the world did he get that kind of confidence? Did he become too arrogant upon receiving the System?
As the bandits’ leader thought about it, he couldn’t help but be annoyed. Surely, nothing was more annoying than those people who looked too highly of themselves.
But then, when he was about to say something to teach him a lesson, the other party had already spoken, “Since I answered your question, I will now take my leave.”
After saying those words, Sakim walked forward. He walked past the bandit’s leader as he didn’t even bother sparing a glance at him. As if he was just some kind of log standing in the middle of the road.
Vein’s popped out from the forehead of the bandit’s leader. How could this weakling dare to ignore him?
But before he could even do any actions, his subordinates made the first move. They obstructed Sakim’s path as they asked with obviously evil intentions, “Where do you think you’re going?
How could this weakling appear so calm before them? Did he see them for nothing? The bandits were furious thinking about it. This weakling should be trembling in fear now while he was in their presence.
It had to be known that they were feared existence wherever they go in this low-level place. If Low Rankers met them, they should be bowing their heads out of fear. But this person was actually had his head held high? Just who did he think he was? No matter how they looked at it, it could only be more or less frustrating.
But Sakim, with an aura of an expert with an incomparable strength, had simply glared at the ones blocking his way making them fall back with a step. With eyes flashing with a cold glint, he opened his mouth and a cold voice came out, “Scram.”
At that moment, the bandits were actually scared of this man in front of them. But other than the confidence, no, the arrogance of this guy, they could see clearly that there was nothing else worth mentioning. How dare did he act so high and mighty before them? This guy must be tired of living!
With that in mind, the bandits released their aura of hostility. Killing intent exuded out from each of them as it appeared that they were about to kill Sakim at any moment.
Seeing this, Sakim, on the other hand, was rather taken aback. This was not the result he wanted to. All he wanted was to scare them a little so that they would stop pestering him already. But why did he suddenly incurred their wrath instead? Was his acting skill still not enough?
But come to think of it now, this group of thugs appeared to think too highly of themselves. Unlike the four he met before, of which they were a kind of people who would use their brain and think before making a move, these bandits were the opposite. They would always resort to a fight in a case that someone was acting haughtily before them. And since they see Sakim as an arrogant frog that didn’t know the vastness of the sky, they would definitely act against him to teach him a lesson. Just thinking about it could only make Sakim’s forehead let out a cold sweat. Surely, ignorant people were always fearless. And that was what was scary from them.
What should he do now… Sakim felt like the only way out from this situation was fighting them. Even so, he wasn’t afraid at all. Even though it appeared that any of the other party was higher in level than him many folds, with his ability, Sakim was confident to defeat them.
One must know that he could even scare a level 60 plus Player. With that, Sakim realized how incomparable his ability was. So what were these bandits count as compared to the four he met before? He could see clearly that compared to those four, these bandits were relatively lower in level.
Thus, even in the face of the hostile bandits, Sakim remained rather calm. If worse came to worst, he could just use his [Wrath of Heaven] to eliminate all of them in one go.
Seeing that Sakim was actually trying to retaliate, the bandits, on the other hand, were annoyed. This guy really didn’t know the distance between heaven and earth!
“Let me teach him a lesson!” One of the bandits surrounding Sakim stepped forward with confidence and said haughtily. He walked even more closer right in front of Sakim as he added while grabbing Sakim’s collar to show his dominance, “Don’t say that we are bullying you with numbers. I am more than enough to handle you.”
Just by hearing the other party’s voice, Sakim could tell that behind that clothing covering his face was a grin looking down at him.
But Sakim didn’t care about it. Instead, he tried to see the other party’s stats. As such, the hologram screen appeared right in front of his face blocking the other party’s face.
[Status]
Name: Budoy
Level: 35
Class: Fighter
Title: None
_____________
HP: 7,780 | 7,780
MP: 1,950 | 3,500
Seeing the stats of the other party, Sakim was taken aback. His HP was actually higher than him? This really surprised Sakim a little.
But thinking about it now, he had Double Vitality passive skill and was cursed to only put his stat points to Vitality. As such, his HP would be naturally higher than the normal Players. So compared to this person in front of him who was only level 35, it wasn’t that surprising if his HP was higher than him.
The only thing he couldn’t understand was that if this person was only level 35, then his companions should be around his level, right? Since that was the case, why were they trying to chase those four who were many levels higher than them? Were they blind? Sakim sighed deeply as he dismissed the System. These thugs must be out of their minds.
Sakim even pitied them for making a move against someone like him. It had to be known that even those four had to be careful before him. But these thugs? Sakim sighed deeply again thinking about their foolishness.
But this was also good enough. Since one of them made the first move to come closer to him, he wouldn’t have any more trouble doing it himself. Since that was the case, stealing the other party’s HP wouldn’t be a problem anymore. And he would have another healing item.
The only problem was, what to do next after sucking the other party’s life dry? Sakim swept his gaze around as he saw people surrounding him laughing at him. He could see that in their perspective, they were toying with him. As if he was just a rat and they were the cats toying with the rat before eating it.
After sweeping his gaze around, his gaze finally landed at the eye of the one grabbing his collar. No one else had noticed it but what Sakim had seen was the other party’s eyes filled with fear. The other party’s hands were even shaking while he was holding his collar.
Sakim could only smile. This guy finally realized how incomparable his strength was.
Just like what he thought, Budoy, the one grabbing Sakim’s clothes, had seen something scary from him. This guy could actually see his stats freely? Just who the hell was this guy? Was he really a wolf in sheep clothing?
One must know that Players weren’t allowed to see each other’s stat unless one had given their consent. It was one of the rules set by the heavens. And the ones who could do so were undoubtedly talented geniuses who could defy the heavens.
But who would have thought that before this guy, he would just suddenly received a System notification that his stats were being seen through? Just what kind of heaven-defying monster was he for real?
“Hold up!” But before Budoy could get even more scared, a sudden angry bellow echoed to the surroundings. All of them including Sakim shifted their gaze in a certain direction, and there they found on the other side of the road a group of people clad in full-body knight armor.
“Oh…” Sakim was intrigued. His eyes flickered with interest. From the looks of it, these groups of people were at odds against each other.
