“It’s because she needs a large amount of money right away. Look, it’s clearly written here that Elena got five hundred million for this deal.” Said Aiden with his finger pressing a sentence that stated that in the agreement between Brian and Elena that was previously given by Rena to Aiden.

“And what was she that much money for?”

“For surgery and medical expenses for Diego, her fiancé.”

“You mean?”

“Diego had an accident and required him to perform an operation immediately otherwise his life would be threatened. And Diego’s operation was very expensive, it took hundreds of millions.” Rena was silent listening to Aiden’s explanation.

Rena got up and looked at Aiden with a big smile.

“Thank you for working hard on this investigation. And I will give you the added bonus of investigating Elena and giving me all the facts so clearly. I will transfer the fees immediately.”

“You don’t need to be grateful, I love doing business with you.”

“Very well then. And remember, send all the results of your investigation to my email address, then delete all the data in your hands. And don’t ever dare to spread even a tiny bit of the results of this investigation.”

“You can rest easy. Work integrity is the main thing for me. I will never spread any information without the client’s permission.”

“Glad to hear that. Then I’ll go first.” After putting down some cash to pay for the drinks she ordered, Rena turned and walked out of the restaurant. She walked towards her car in the parking lot. Dan sent Aiden’s fee via her cell phone as she sat in the chair later.

Before long, her cellphone received an email notification from Aiden. An email containing all the results of the man’s investigation.

Rena was silent with her eyes focused on the many file attachments in the email. Her hands were tightly clenched and her eyes filled with anger. She was very angry and wanted to immediately vent her anger on Brian and Elise who had deceived and fooled her. Rena immediately called Brian. On the fourth dial tone Brian picks up Rena’s call.

“Hello, Mom. There …” Rena quickly interrupted Brian’s words.

“Go back to the mansion right now.” After saying that Rena hung up on her call and casually threw her cell phone into the passenger seat beside her. Then start the car and drive fast towards the Mansion.

Today Diego has lunch only together with Fajar. Elena didn’t come there for lunch together like usual. The woman tells Diego that her co-worker Anita bought her lunch because it is her birthday.

“Hey!” shouted Fajar in front of Diego quite loudly. The man was a little annoyed that he had been talking to Diego earlier but the man didn’t respond at all. And Fajar had repeatedly called Diego, but the man was silent in his reverie.

“Diego!” The shout Fajar this time was accompanied by a loud clap on Diego’s shoulder.

Diego’s body jolted and his eyes immediately focused on Fajar with a questioning look.

“What is wrong?”

“You asked what was wrong? I should have asked what was wrong with you? I’ve been talking to you since earlier but you were just silent and didn’t respond. I even called you repeatedly. What are you thinking about so seriously drowning in daydreams?”

Diego was silent and looked down at his lunch. His hands began to scoop and eat.

“Is it because your lover, Elena didn’t come here to have lunch together, so you thought and kept on daydreaming about it?” Again, Fajar’s question was not answered by Diego.

“Hey, what’s up?” Ask Fajar began to worry about his friend’s condition. Fajar and Diego were friends in high school and Fajar knew exactly that this man had loved Elena a long time ago.

“There is another man in Elena’s heart.” Said Diego quietly. This is very surprising for Fajar.

“How can?” Fajar know Diego is very protective and quite possessive about Elena. In fact, not infrequently some men are threatened and get into fights with Diego, in order to back away and stay away from Elena.

“Everything happened when I was in a coma and away from her,” replied Diego with a helpless expression.

“How could Elena betray you?” Fajar still doesn’t believe it. In the past, Diego often talked about Elena and Fajar was also quite familiar with how Elena was. That woman couldn’t possibly betray Diego.

“I’m sure she had no intention of betraying me, because she still wanted to be with me.”
