Skill Customize Creator System - Chapter 33 Stone Grey
Caleb disheartened and perplexed focused his mind and looked around the stone dead room, it seems like that magic gem fueled the plants somehow or the plant life sprouted from it but that didn’t matter now, it was dead and dry husks of what it once was.
With a pivot he observed the tapestry again now looking at its smudged ink still decaying at the bottom, He felt the same warmth flow through him which perplexed him.
“System ,what is that portraying ”
[The Earth Mother]
“A dietyi assume?”
[Yes ]
Caleb nodded abruptly to the response and now got the picture better, this place was a place of worship and the skeleton, it was the protector of this place.
With a stride heavy with something, each step rung out around the room, each step crushing to dust what was now dead underfoot and as he approaches the skeleton he squatted down face to face with the skull.
Staring at the fleshless bone a cold tone came out and placed his hand over the horn
“Rest in peace knowing you did all you could ”
Caleb pulled hard on the horn lodged and with a thunk the horn dislodged from its perch inside the eye socket in the skeleton and as he did the small flick of bone fell of the empty sockets and a small crack appeared , with a sudden alacrity cracks formed like a quickly formed web along the husk and as the cracks spread to the every inch and with chink the body crumbled like pottery and the only trace left was a fine creamy dust and a whole carved by the horns path
Caleb looked at the horn and pulled his hand across the horns sharp edge and as he glided his hand across a small crimson gemling formed and as it did Caleb chuckled to himself quizikaly.
“I have to thank the bull for the horn,”
Tossing it in the air and as it twirled in the air he caught it and felt the weight of it within his hand, it was a reassuring weight, he felt safer with it at his side.
Caleb walked out the hallway but instead of green it was now dull brown and black ,the foliage which covered the hallway died upon the shattering of the crystal ,Caleb ran his hand across the side of the wall while walking forward and as he did the dehydrated shrubbery was cut clean in two with adelicate glancing blow and as the bottom fell to the ground only dust remained.
Caleb exited the corridor he saw the church, what was reclaimed by nature was now returned to the grey stone built there as he walked forward he noticed a large door uncovered open with slight welcoming light creeping through the hole in the middle.
“Lets exit this church properly”
As Caleb paced himself slowly he slowly went through the great hall, it was almost surreal, not much time passed as the sun still was held high but all the green which plastered the ruins died with the crystal and its work was reclaimed but still shattered and now ….even more empty.
Caleb looked around its sundered ruins it felt off , nature which reclaimed it was fitting almost holding the scene together like it was meant to be .
He approached the open door and with a creek and a chink of the hinges, both of the doors fell flat forward
“Why dont i descrate this ruin even more ,fuck sake ”
Sighing both internally and externally he glanced back ,Almost like the skein of reality wavered he saw the pews , the altar, the stain-glass window as it was meant to be,What was potrayed was the same motherly figure portrayed on the tabardbut as he saw it for a mere moment reality reasserted its hold on Caleb and as it did Caleb was blinded and head thrumming with a thumping heat,Confused and blinking he looked at the ground and as it subsidedhe looked up with one last glance the room returned to its ruination and looking upwards the stained glass was still shattered .
Caleb head hurting reached for the door hoping for something to hold for stability but as he did he fell and with an inhuman reaction he righted his unsteady position, exiting the now empty doorway and stepped on and over the doorways now taking the role of a metal carpet he landed on the wet earthy ground, brooding for a mere moment he moved started to move
“Time to aimlessly try to find the exit of the forest”
Caleb could hear the rushing of water but he decided to clime a tree to see how far he could see
As Caleb penetrated the Canopy he looked around and saw the colourfull birds which took these great trees canopies as there own home, Caleb looking to the sky saw a large flock of birds of vibrant colours go towards the north , Watching the flock go he noticed something, The flock where headed
To an open field
