Skyward Over God - Chapter 1
Millions of years in our earth’s future, in a large lab room, a single man stood in front of a large gate-like mechanical object in the shape of a ring, the gateway was radiating massive amounts of dimensional energy; the device shook as it began generating a strange screen of blinding grey and white light began to form.
That man wore a white lab coat and had the looks of someone in their twenties, although he could be considered handsome he wasn’t what one would call a lady killer. He stood still at the front of this gateway laughing maniacally.
“IT WORKS, IT ACTUALLY WORKS.” The man shouted throwing his hands into the air.
The man raved constantly of his great success, jumping up and down throwing his fists in the air, wishing someone else was here to witness his brilliance. Unfortunately, he made everyone leave his lab today, especially for their safety.
“A through Z, commence full spectrum analysis, the rest prepare a faux clone to test the gate.” Twenty four smooth multicolored spherical orbs flew out of his body and began speaking as they did.
“Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta, commencing full spectrum analysis total wait time one hour. Eta, Theta, Iota, Kappa, Lambda, Mu, Nu, Xi, Omicron, Pi, Rho, Sigma, Toa, Upsilon, Phi, Chi, Psi, Omega, beginning marrow and organ development, faux clone creation at 2% estimated wait time eight and a half hours.”
“Now all that’s left is to wait.” Just as the words left the young looking scientist’s mouth a strange shadow appeared from another side of the portal. The 24 A.I’s all began to fire off warning sounds.
“!!!Warning!!! !!!Warning!!! !!!Warning!!! ” His A.I’s began to blare like sirens.

“Species of unknown origins attempting to puncture the spatial variables, recommend that host immediately terminate experiment, commencing emergency shutdown of the interdimensional gateway,” The A.I warned.
The strange shadow’s image was slowly coming into focus, as it came closer it became apparent that it was humanoid in shape as it began to lift its arm and placed its hand against the curtain of energy.
Space began to distort as the scientist’s lab began to quake and warp with it, several pieces of the lab’s electronic equipment began short circuit and explode sending sparks an shrapnel across the lab room.
“Loss of primary and auxiliary power sources confirmed. Emergency shutdown failed. Structural stability of lab 211 compromised.”
“Commence fail-safe operation “Eject” damn I guess this the end.” The man sighed
The 24 Ai’s began to emit a large amount of energy as groves in its steel-like surface began to glow in a highly advanced circuit-like pattern.
” Jettisoning lab into void space, final chance to revoke current objective.”
“Proceed.” The young looking man said just before a large echo of metal tearing apart everything around him, he sighed one last time as his body was savagely torn in micro particles and spread across the chaotic space that is the void realm.
