Skyward Over God - Chapter 31
“Scanning creature,” Mythos said running a series of notes pass Fei Lei’s eyes. “Target has trace amounts of dragon blood coursing through its veins. Please name target.”
“Dragon Fang Snake!” Fei Lei said as he stared at the stats of the beast.
“The Dragon Fang Snake has a 7 to 8 times your physical parameters right now, its spiritual strength is equal to a peak 5-star beast, I suggest that Master retreat and attempt to break through to the 2nd Spell Sigil.”
“How am I supposed to do that? You know I don’t have any Tyrant Cores, and there is no known Mantra for Non-Elemental users.”
“There are 7 Core Mantras that have been stored in your genetics, along with a supreme physique cultivation method, and soul cultivation method.”
Fei Lei scratched his head as he ran back a ways, he started to dig a small cave out and sealed himself inside so the creatures out there wouldn’t find him while he trained.
Fei Lei sat down and started to use his level 0 Innervision spell, he began to stare at his blood and try to seek out the information, he could see the platelets and the cells of flowing blood, “Smaller!” Fei Lei shouted mentally, “I need to be able to see even smaller than this.”
Fei Lei poured in a ton of his Mana and focused the magnification to 2 nanometers. Fei Lei found himself floating in the center of a massive and complex pattern of his own genetic structure, trillions upon trillions of finely woven triple helixes flowed beside him, only one section of his D.N.A seemed to be blotted out by a black web of pointed chains.
“That must be the seal.” Fei Lei thought.
“Yes, Master is too weak to rid them, however, if you steadily improve the power of your bloodline, Master can free himself from the seal,” Mythos replied.
Fei Lei then asked, “Where should I start?”
Mythos directed him to a glowing section of his genetics and said, “These are the three Core techniques we managed to imprint, Core Akashic Physique Scripture, Core Akashic Soul Scripture, and Core Akashic Mana Scripture! Regrettably, Master’s physique and soul aren’t strong enough to unlock the physique or soul scriptures without turning yourself into a vegetable.”

“What so I can only access the Mana Cultivation method for now? Fei Lei shot back.
“Unfortunately, yes. Master must find a way to steadily improve the condition of your soul and physique until they are strong enough to undertake the transfer.” Mythos explained.
“What do I do?” Fei Lei asked.
“Just peer into it,” Mythos replied.
Fei Lei felt the information, being pulled into his mind “Core Akashic Mana Scripture, composed of 7 Mantras.”
Suddenly the information exploded and began traveling towards his brain, he also noticed that the memories that he had unlocked thus far began moving alongside it.
It traversed into the new organ in his brain, when he suddenly found himself standing in his Soul Realm, the entire area was going through a change.
The once pure white landscape was filled with grass, Fei Lei looked around to see a single wooden book shelve forming high into the sky, the memories from his previous life were filling up the shelves with large leatherback books.
What made Fei Lei so astonished was the sheer number of books that were constantly being added, he walked up to them and saw that it was full of every moment of his previous incarnation’s experiences.
Every book he read, show he watched, every study or experiment he conducted was compiled into written words.
Fei Lei touched one of them and when he did a golden spark of energy flew into Fei Lei’s brain. The memories were of Isaac Asimov’s early childhood to adulthood, many bits of information about Earth’s knowledge and history began to surge throughout Fei Lei’s psyche.
The memories he had jumbled around in his head became orderly and concise, he saw a time when he was Isaac Asimov, the man was already 200 years old, and he had created powerful Nanobots that could slow the aging process significantly. Most humans at this time period lived 3 to 4 thousand years.

However, this still wasn’t good enough for the Professor that wanted to learn all of life’s mysteries, he created a special stasis pod that would allow him to sleep for millions of years at a time.
Every time he came out of Stasis, Isaac woke to a world far more advanced than the one he left behind, once he had absorbed all the new information and technology, he would repeat this process over, and over again.
Fei Lei pulled his hand back and shook his head, he understood everything he saw and then turned around to see seven scriptures carved into large golden pillars that floating at the center of his soul’s landscape.
It felt like there were millions of tiny creatures scrambling throughout his brain’s exterior. His nose began to bleed slightly, the information from the seven scriptures quickly began storing its self into Fei Lei’s hippocampus.
As the last of the information settled into various locations along his cerebral cortex, Fei Lei felt all of the information was stored as long-term memories.
Fei Lei opened his eyes gasping for air, “None Elemental Mantra. The most supreme Non-Elemental Mantra!” Fei Lei had 7 powerful Mantras floating in his head. Earth God Mantra, Fire God Mantra, Water God Mantra, Wind God Mantra, Light God Mantra, Dark God Mantra, and Overgod Mantra.
Sitting down, he began speaking a very ancient and timeless language, the words told a story about an ancient god that came into existence alongside the remaining elemental gods, the story of the Overgod could achieve control over the remaining elements because he was none of the elements, his clear surface could be stained in all of their colors.
The mana around him reacted to his words as the five elements in the air spontaneously gathered around his body and circled the top of his head. Slowly little by little the aura of the six elements became a clear and transparent color.
“A clear fire sank into his head and became the spark of imagination, the clearest of water flowed through his blood and formed the river of souls, the cleanest earth appeared as a diamond, becoming his skin bone and muscles that supported the universe, the cleanest of air filled his lungs with an infinite vitality and gave form to the heavens above, the darkest and purest black became his hair and created the void of space, his eyes shined with all the light of the stars, giving form to reality.” As if the elements were attracted to his words they poured themselves into his Human Transfiguration Magic Sigil.
Seeing the rate at which the elements were being absorbed, Fei Lei noticed that over the years of constantly eating Magical Beast Meat, he had stored a mass of magical beast essence inside the cells of his body.
All the Magical Beast Essence was quickly being converted by the Mantra and being sent into his Sigil.
The Mana sank into his Sigil and started to glow, he felt something in his body start to rumble when. Mythos called out, “Accessing Mana Layline, activating Spell Sigil Calling Circle,” As soon as it said this, a large beam of white light enshrouded the small cave.

Fei Lei once again found himself soaring through the Mana Realm, an infinite number of Level 1 Spell Sigils flew by him when suddenly Fei Lei reached out his hand and grabbed his second Sigil.
Level 1 Non-Elemental Spell Sigil ‘Force!’
This spell could enhance his control over his Telekinesis to whole new levels, he could now lift dozens of times his previous limit, now he could carry around 10,000 pounds, and the mental strain of using his Telekinesis had all but vanished.
He surrounded his body in a thin layer of his Telekinetic energy and started to lift his body off the ground, Fei Lei smiled as he floated to the ground and exited the chamber.
Fei Lei smiled and cracked his fist, thinking back on how the dragon-snake monster nearly turned him into food, he showed his canines and said, “I think some payback is in order.”
Fei Lei walked into the cavern and created his telekinetic hands, and was surprised to discover they had increased in size, from 5 to 10 feet.
Using his added level 1 spell ‘Force’ Fei Lei excited the molecules around the hand-like construct, causing them to burst into flames before he charged towards his target at full speed.
The Dragon Fang Snake charged back, infuriated by Fei Lei’s returning presence it sought to make him its dinner, unfortunately for him, Fei Lei was a different person than before.
Fei Lei activated all of his Physical Enhancement Spells and leapt forward, the creature was taken by surprise by Fei Lei’s new speed. It could do nothing against him as Fei Lei hopped into the air and slammed his 10-foot fire fist face sending it flying across the room, Fei Lei grabbed its tail and said, “I wonder what dragon snake taste like?”
The creature wailed out in pain as Fei Lei pulled out his Clear Mist Blade and channeled his telekinesis and the Force Spell through it.
The sword extended its transparent blade as he cut through the creatures head in one fell swoop, “Incredible, as long as I use my ‘Force’ Spell to enhance my telekinesis, then I’m almost four times stronger than my boosted parameters,” Fei Lei said as he used his telekinesis to retrieve a thick core from the creature brain.
Fei Lei looked over the core when all of the sudden Mythos absorbed it, and hummed as it said, “5 Star Spirit Core absorbed.”

Fei Lei smiled and asked, “What? That useful for you?”
“If I absorb enough Spirit Stones I can level up to an Earthly treasure, and when that happens, I will unlock a new function,” Mythos replied.
“How many do you need?” Fei Lei asked.
Mythos then answered, “The current progress until the next level is at 0.04%”
“That much!” Fei Lei said with disbelief.
“You could always allow me to absorb more of the Ather Crystals. If you use all that you’ve gathered, it would place the percentages at 13.04%”
“No, if it’s that little, I better save them for other things.” Fei Lei said as he looked at the creature and stored it into his ring, he was about to walk past the area when he suddenly spotted something out of the corner of his eyes.
A large pool of milky white colored liquid was dripping down a large stalagmite, he smelled the water when his nose was assaulted by a pleasant scent of flowers and earth. He didn’t know what the substance was, but if the Dragon-Snake was defending it, then he thought it might be worth taking.
Storing up the liquid in is ring he left the area and headed deeper into the cave. Along the way, he discovered a few more Ather deposits and pulled them into his spatial ring.
However they were being guarded by those large faced bats, they looked like a cross between a horse and flying rat, the beasts had long protruding noses and long sharp talons and teeth.
He was swarmed by a flock of these monsters, Fei Lei created his hands again but this time he made them as cool as Ice, suddenly he was swinging around 10-foot fist shaped blocks of ice, countless bats fell to the ground dead, Fei Lei then threw the ice blocks and watched as the pile of bats was crushed underneath.
Fei Lei wondered around a bit longer and eventually ended up in at a dead end. “Guess I there’s nowhere else to go,” Fei Lei said as he started looking up.
Fei Lei then decided to start flying upward, he slowly used his telekinesis to dig his way to the surface, as he broke out of the ground the sunlight shined down making him switch his sight back over to regular vision.
