Sol Vestitor: New Age of God - Chapter 150
“Oh, that looks good on you! I did not expect they would fit perfectly,” Sol praised Tea as he finished some creature body part on her.
Since it was rare for different types of creatures to work together and make a group together, Sol decided to give her cat ear and tail too but since her hair was red it did not fit well so he changed them to a tiger ear and tail with some black stripes.
She played with her tail for a bit and said, “This certainly feels weird, it feels so real. No, it feels too real as if it was part of me, to begin with!” she told him her opinion.
“Hahaha, yeah, this is not some decoration, I basically grow you a pair of ears and tail, as long as people don’t fight it then I can modify their body as I like,” he told her.
“Eh? Really? You can do that?” she looked at him with shining eyes, he felt like prey in front of a tiger about to be eaten.
“Tea? Why are you looking at me like that?” he asked warily at her.
“Hehehehe” she laughed with a grin on her face and it freaked him out.
Ten minutes later Sol and Tea went toward the city while Tea was a tad bit slimmer and prettier. If people compared her to the previous her then they would be able to see that some parts grew bigger and bouncier.
She was really happy with the result, if not for their limited time then she would ask him for more upgrades for herself.
“Sol, can you make me, even more, prettier?” she asked him even though they were already close to the city.
“Fuck, this girl could only think about being pretty, She even forgets about how dangerous getting into this city is,” Sol lamented as Tea begged him.
“Stop!!! Who are you guys? Which group are you from?” a man stopped them from going into the city.
Sol did not know much about groups but luckily he already prepared a made-up story to answer this kind of question.
“We are from the neighboring city, we have urgent news to tell you,” he told him.
It made the man frown, “You are from minotaur’s city? They don’t usually have cat people like you there and moreover we are not friendly with each other, what so urgent that they sent you to tell us?” the guard asked in suspicion.
“They chose us because we are friendlier, anyway that is not important, have you heard that Atlas the titan of endurance has been freed from his prison?” Sol tried to change the topic.
“What? Atlas, who?” the creature did not know about the titan as it had been millennia since Atlas was free and creatures did not learn history.
“Ugh…” he groaned as he did not expect he needed to explain who Atlas was to the creature.
“He is basically a Titan that is as strong as the god of death and the underworld,” he tried to make it as simple as possible.
“What is this titan want then? Is he attacking our city?” The creature got alarmed once he knew how strong Atlas is.
“I don’t know but he is gathering an army, they said that he was trying to wage war against the god of the dead and the underworld,” Sol tried to appear clueless as well.
“This is big news! I should tell the city lord so we can participate in this war!” the man said excitedly then left his post hurriedly went into the city.
Sol did not know what kind of creature lived in the city but it seems they loved fighting and bloodshed so much that they looked forward to the war.
“If they are strong enough to rival Minotaurs then they should not be weak, we should finish our business here as soon as possible and leave before we get into another problem,” he thought to himself.
Without anyone to stop them, they walked into the city unhindered. When they got in, they saw a really crude city, the buildings looked like it was made by a caveman.
Once they came in, they could sense people’s eyes on them, they seemed to find Sol and Tea interesting.
“Sol, this is bad,” Tea pulled at his arm with a worried voice.
“Why?” He asked her in a low voice as to not attract any attention.
“Don’t you notice? Everyone here looks so human, no one has a tail nor horn, we looked really out of place with our tail and cat ear,” she pointed.
“Eh?” he looked around to find no one looked like a creature in the city, “What kind of creature city is this?” he mused.
“Let’s go shopping and hurry out of here,” He hurried her as he had a bad feeling about this.
Just as they were about to reach what they thought was a shop, a group of men stopped them by blocking their way.
“Look at what we have here? A pair of kittens actually come running into a city of bloodhounds, are they asking to be eaten?” a man that seems to be the leader said scornfully.
“Then we should grant their wish,” another said as bloodlust started to leak from the group that people could even see the bloodlust with naked eyes.
“Fuck, surely we would attract trouble,” Sol cursed as he gets ready for a fight.
The group was not that strong, he could sense every one of them was only a lesser demigod, but what troubled him was if he killed them the whole city might attack him.
In the whole city, he could sense hundreds of minor demigods and he was sure that the city lord would be a major demigod.
If he attracts the hate of this city then he would need to fight a hundred minor demigods and a major demigod on top of it, their chance of survival would not be pretty when that happens.
“If I know this city is filled with dogs then I would not choose a cat ear and tail,” he lamented on his past decision.
“Sol, let’s just ignore them, they are so weak that we can just bypass them,” Tea suggested.
“Yeah, I think that’s better than risking our lives by attracting hate,” he agreed.
They continued to walk as if they could not see or hear the group of creatures in front of them, which made the creatures angry.
The bloodhounds conjured hundreds of projectiles made of bone and blood but before they could send it flying at Sol and Tea, they suddenly felt their vision fly up before falling to the ground.
In a blink of eyes, their head was separated from their body by an invisible knife, they didn’t even have the chance to retaliate.
“Fuck! Nai why did you do that?!” Sol cursed as he wasn’t fast enough to react when the knife suddenly killed all the creatures that tried to attack him.
Nai was too fast for him to stop, Sol could only blame himself that he did not order the knife to stays its hand.
The knife replied simply by sending him an impression that the creature was hostile and it just did what it was supposed to do.
Sol wanted to palm his face when he heard that, “this knife suppose to have eaten the apple of knowledge but why it’s so dumb,” he lamented.
He was in extreme vigilance since the people in the city might attack him and Tea, he was ready to bring the fire demigod with him as he ran out of the city but to his surprise, no one bothered about the group that was killed by Nai.
After a few minutes passed without any sign of attack, he finally heaved a sigh of relief.
“It seems creatures don’t really care about each other if they are not part of their small group,” he thought.
“Nai, don’t attack anyone in this city, we can’t risk attracting others,” he instructed the knife so there won’t be a second time.
After hearing an agreement from the knife, he took Tea with him to the shop to buy their needs.
The shop clerk greeted them, they told him what they wanted and needed, and within a few minutes they had a few bad full of traveling items, but when they about to pay, they suddenly realize that the money used in this city was different than the currency they get from the city of the dead.
“Ah, sorry Sir, can you wait a minute?” he asked the shop clerk as Sol went out of the shop.
He went to the group of dead bodies and searched them for any money that he could use to pay for their purchase.
It was quite bloody but he finally found a pouch filled with strange coins that were used as currency for the creatures.
“Haha! Luckily there was some idiot that came to give us some money,” Sol mused as he found a silver lining in what happened before.
