Solitary Sword Sovereign - Chapter 130
If the second question was like an electric shock, then the third was like a bomb blasting in Aurora’s face. Yes the empire was a threat, but if Mein was given enough time to do so, he could plant moles all over the world, barely anyone would be able to fight him!
Mein saw that the thing was heading south, so he had his robot Nazi’s face Aurora and her people. This only caused Aurora’s suspicion to grow further. Everyone’s hearts were crazily beating as if a large predator was staring them each in the eye. Everyone started to enter fight or flight mode. But before things could escalate, Will interjected.
“Aurora, let me challenge Mein. Just hold off his people. I will deal with him in a Lord Battle.”
Rhino shouted, “Why the hell would we let that-”
Aurora had telepathic abilities, so she sent a message to her compatriots. “It’s okay,” said Aurora, Rhino look to her side, confused. Aurora said, “He is only level 74. He can easily deal with Mein when it comes to hand to hand combat. Mein’s power comes from his robot Nazis. If Solitary can isolate him I’m sure he can win. And the moment he does, we will challenge him.”
Aurora’s crew’s eyes lit up and continued focusing on Mein’s crew. Indeed, even if Will leveled up it would mean nothing the highest level he could achieve is probably level 80 or level lower. All of Aurora Phoenix’s crew were far above that. Besides, they had another even stronger vanguard keeping his back up at bay. The group was in constant contact with Aurora through telepathy. SO why not just let Solitary do their work for them? Then they can sweep in and take all the rewards.
Some of Aurora’s followers were even thinking about the water type treasure Will had and had some designs for it. With Mein already an enemy, Will could easily run away. They knew his abilities quite well, or so they thought. Why not let Will kill Mein, then the Robot Nazis become leaderless, and they take care of a singular Will. The plan seemed faultless at the time.
State Lords and above could not refuse the challenge of those above them. Although this fatty was stuck at level 99, he was very weak when it came to hand to hand combat. Nevertheless, he never lost any Forced Lord Challenge. This meant many things, but the simplest way to put it was, he had at least one trump card. The question was, what was it, and how many were there?
Mein, in his arrogance, walked forward in open arms, stained by the vision of a grandiose future that would never come to be…at least in this junction. (authors note)
Go on boy, challenge me. This was what his body language indicated. A side glance at Aurora and her crew indicated another thought. ‘As soon as I am done with him.’ Aurora and Rhino saw this gaze and found this laughable. With his low level, he dared hold Aurora hostage? She stayed because of her companions. Most were not as powerful as she was. The stronger ones had gone to be the vanguard. Only Rhino could be of assistance. Thus she had no choice but to let things go like this.
The reason was simple. But first, she had to confirm.
“Solitary, you said you killed Old Man Mu. Are you sure it was by your hand?”
“Yes.
“And you had no assistance?
“Yup.”
Aurora only took a few fractions of a second to make up her mind but nodded to Will nonetheless. Before he started his journey toward the fatty, Will said one more thing to Aurora.
“By the way, I killed him after he had traveled to his water world. Well, that is what I call it anyway.”
Will’s words made Aurora and Rhino but Will ignored them and continued on up the wide stairs. His destination; Mein Kampf! State Lord of 4th Reich!
Aurora and co walked away from the fatty and his minions at the quick behest of the others. Her face was gulping every five sends. Rhino kept wiping the sweat off her forehead.
The strength of a user was usually determined by two categories. The first being how high their level is, which determines power. The second is how many levels they can jump to battle, which determines potential. Wills level was low, but Old Man Mu was a powerful State Lord who was at level 99. Will could only be level 74 at best. This meant that he skipped an entire section of levels to kill someone. Mein was someone powerful who had a strong trump card. But Solitary Sword Sovereign had killed a stealth specialist an entire realm above him in levels. The very thought caused Rhino to want to Whistle.
This was Old Man Mu! But he was killed by a measly Sector Lord! Not to mention that the old man was a stealth specialist with a dimension shifting ability. And he was still killed. If it was someone without stealth skills at level 99, how long would they survive?
Aurora and Rhino looked at each other, clearly thinking of the same thing. The duo became pensive and walked away further and further. Solitary had caused one too many miracles. The duo looked at the naked Robot Nazi that once was Shaniqwa. Was it Solitary who had removed her disguise? They don’t even know! There was no fluctuation, no movements, nothing indicated that a skill was used.
“What the fuck did he do?” Aurora rarely swore, but when she did, it meant shit was about to go down. The battle between Mein and Will was losing suspense by the second!
