Sorceress 101 - Chapter 353
The first person who stepped out from Teacher Nana’s office was actually someone that they least expected to meet there.
It was no other than, Madam Xing!
The store owner of Everything Emporium that they met this morning.
It seemed that just like what they guessed, Teacher Nana and Madam Xing was indeed up to something.
Following behind her was, of course, Teacher Nana who was wearing a simple yet captivating smile on her lips as she personally sent her guest out.
From how the two sorceresses used to interact with one another, it seemed that they were really close and they personally knew each other.
Because it was so rare to find Teacher Nana in a simple outfit like she was just meeting a friend.
Her auburn long hair right now was not intricately arranged like it always used to be.
But despite her ‘woke up like this’ disposition at that moment Teacher Nana still looked undeniably gorgeous on her messy bun.
Most likely, she was not expecting any guests that day that was why she did not bother about fixing her appearance nor she cared how she looked like at that time.
As such, when she saw the group of young warlocks at the corner of her eyes, she was startled.
But the student assistant introduced them right away.
“Teacher Nana, these are the student warlocks that I told you about. They wished to have a few words with you.”
“Oh, I see… Alright. You can leave us now, Zi Yi. Thank you for your help today. I can take it from here.”
Teacher Nana said after she recovered from being startled.
As soon as the student assistant named Zi Yi left, Teacher Nana invited Mu Lingxi’s group inside her office and there discussed their reason for coming over to her office.
Of course, no matter how eager Teacher Nana was about not meeting any guests for that day, she could not just turn down her students’ request for her audience.
Especially not now that they personally saw that she was already done dealing with her latter appointment.
Besides they had been told to wait for her already, so she really no longer have any other choice but to compromise
“Is there anything I could help you with???”
Teacher Nana asked them while she was organizing her personal belongings that were left scattered on her table.
Since the student warlocks were already there, she just decided to get it done and helped them with what they need as soon as possible so she could still have time left to deal with her own business right afterward.
“Ohh, just forgive the mess. I was quite busy lately that I barely had time to organized my stuff”
Teacher Nana said to excuse her messy room.
“Teacher Nana we came here to ask you a favor. If it would be fine with you, could you please asked for Schoolmaster Yin’s audience on our behalf???”
Fan Lei no longer beat around the bush and went straight to the point right away.
“Ohh???? May I asked what was that for??? Why do you wish to meet the schoolmaster”
Teacher Nana asked. Slightly intrigued by her students’ sudden request.
“It is about what we saw from the Jar of Misfortune, teacher. We think that this might be related to him.”
Mu Lingxidecided to came clean and told their teacher what was really bothering her, without hiding anything.
“Oh, so you indeed saw something bothering inside the Jar of Misfortune, didn’t you???”
Teacher Nana said with a grin as she nodded her head in realization.
As she expected, there was really something off with her students’ reaction this morning.
Just a few hours ago, she asked this same student what they saw in the Jar of Misfortune but they refused to tell her the truth and even told her that it was nothing at all.
From the current looks of it, it seemed that they deliberately lied to her at that time, thinking that the thing they saw was a matter of importance and should not be known by just anyone.
Primarily because it concerned the well being of the schoolmaster himself.
“Alright. So tell me, what was it that you really saw in the Jar of Misfortune when you tried to peak on the water inside of it?”
Teacher Nana decided to ask the same old question that she used to ask the student warlocks this morning.
She reckoned that since they were asking her for a favor, then they should have at least repay her with that simple information.
“Well, there was this special artifact that we retrieved from a school mission and we gave it to Schookmaster Yin in change for his help.”
The group had agreed upon this story.
They decided that they would go and phrase it in such a way that Schoolmaster Yin would not look like he took advantage of them nor will make the schoolmaster appear as if he was the one who asked them to do it for his own personal gain.
So they made it sound like they made a fair deal with Schoolmaster Yin. That in exchange for helping them recovering Luna’s consciousness, they gave the schoolmaster the ancient chalice in return
“Alright, so you guys were saying that you gift Schooomater Yin with something of his interest in exchange for his help. Hmmm… Quite interesting. Just what exactly was that thing that you guys gifted him that was enough to come in handy for a warlock who was currently at the highest realm of magic??”
The information that she was getting from this bunch of young warlocks was really interesting.
As such, Teacher Nana could not help but questioned them more and asked a thing or two about that special item that they were referring to
“We knew that Schoolmaster Yin was into the study of souls, so we gave him an ancient artifact that he might use a source of inspiration in furthering his knowledge in the soul arts”
Fan explained with all honesty.
They knew that if they needed Teacher Nana’s assistance, then they must start to come clean and tell her everything that she wanted to know about it.
Besides, they did not think that there was really something that they should hide.
It was not as if they have done something illegal, to begin with.
“Alright, I get that you gave him something really useful that explains why he graciously accepted a gift from students. What I wanted to know is what was that thing that you gave him???
“It is an ancient chalice. An artifact that should not be opened at all costs because it used to trapped someone or something inside of it. We happened to found it by chance at one of the newly discovered territories when we conduct our previous school mission”
