Sorceress - Chapter 310
Necromancers participated in the Great War of Magi but they joined hands with the creatures of the dark. In the end, they were defeated.
The sorceresses and warlocks that participated in that war, saw how the necromancers utilized vile methods of using soul arts and summoning the dead to fight with them
They also witnessed the depraved act of life extension. Because most of the necromancers that joined the war during that time support Schoolmaster Yin’s research.
Life extension plays a vital role in why the new mage community decided to obliterate the necromancers once and for all.
Little did they now that the actual proprietor of that wicked magic spell is still set on a loose and was not punished in the least.
The young Yin Shun tried his best to hide his identity as an apprentice necromancer which does not seem to be hard for him.
Considering that he was able to hide this secret up until now and he even became a well-respected figure in the mage community
More than that, he was also able to make a name for himself and become one of the principals of a prestigious school of magic. Which is the Magus Academia.
Schoolmaster Yin had lived a peaceful life as a normal warlock.
He has both the power and good status, which allows him to live a carefree life.
Despite his past deeds, Schoolmaster Yin never suffered a setback.
And as if life can’t get any fairer to those who commit sins and never repent, he even got a chance to meet a girl to complete his almost perfect life!
It was a sorceress named Yu Yan.
Yu Yan had this kind of face that seemed to be cut right from the pages of a men’s magazine.
She is that kind of beauty that will make you think that if the gods are for real, then Yu Yan could be their masterpiece.
There is something that radiates from deep within her that rendered her irresistible to both genders.
Men desired her and women courted her friendship.
But aside from her good looks, what makes Yu Yan more attractive is her kind heart. She is someone who values life.
She also had a knack in Elixir Making. There is simply no elixir that she cannot concoct.
It was as if her hands were no different from the hands of a healing deity.
Because every healing brew that she used to concoct can save even someone who was in the brink of dying.
That’s how good she was.
As such she was immediately accepted to be part of the teaching faculty of Magus Academia, despite her young age.
It was at that time when Schoolmaster Yin met Yu Yan for the very first time.
The moment his eyes set on her, Schoolmaster Yin already knew that she will be the one he will going to marry.
As time passed by, a romance slowly blossomed in their young hearts.
Every moment that they spent together brings them nothing but pure bliss. That is how in loved they were.
But Schoolmaster Yin knew that his happiness won’t be complete if he will have to live his life hiding his true self to the one she loved.
So one day, Schoolmaster Yin decided to come clean and tell her about his deepest secret.
For once in his life, he wanted to be honest about his true identity.
It is okay for him to wear a mask in front of other people. But at least not when he was with his other half.
Since the two of them were already planning to get married, he believed that it won’t do their relationship any good if he will keep a secret to her.
He thought that their love for each other was already enough for Yu Yan to accept his dark past and real identity.
So Schoolmaster Yin decided to show Yu Yan his prided invention, the life extension.
Even though a lot of time had passed since he was abolished from being an apprentice necromancer, he never stops furthering his research.
In fact, it was through this that he managed to stay alive for a very long time.
Considering that he existed even before the Great War of Magi broke out, then it was safe to say that Schoolmaster Yin is over a thousand years of age already.
If it was anyone else, he or she must have been long dead by now.
But because of using life extension, Schoolmaster Yin was able to survive the passing of time. To the point that he almost became immortal.
He used himself as the recipient of his every experiment and sewed a lot of lifelines that he collected from different donors.
But whether those lifelines were forcefully taken away from its supposed donor or not, no one knows about it.
Schoolmaster Yin proceeded on removing his robe and upper shirt, so he can show his back to Yu Yan
Well, it just so happened that the evidence of his action can actually be found in his body.
When Yu Yan saw the bare back of her lover, she was initially worried. Because it looked as if someone doodled a spider web in Schoolmaster Yin’s back
But when she realized that those doodle-like lines were patches of lifelines that were sewn together on Schoolmaster Yin’s skin, her initial worry slowly turned into abhorrence.
Especially when Yu Yan learned about the truth behind Schoolmaster Yin’s identity. As well as the nature of his life extension research.
The young sorceress cannot find a word to express how horrified she was when she learned about everything at that time.
It was like finding out that you were dating a sick psycho, after being with him for a long time already
She could hardly believe it herself that the man that she loved is actually that kind of character.
From then on, Yu Yan’s feelings towards Schoolmaster Yin started to drift farther away.
Especially when she learned that Schoolmaster Yin never stop doing this depraved act and he even prided himself on it.
Then until one day, it was as if Yu Yan finally realized that she can no longer see Schoolmaster Yin the way she saw him before.
Just like Schoolmaster Yin, she also thought that her love for the other party was enough for her to accept him for who he truly was.
At first, she thought that she could just turn a blind eye on this other side of him.
She tried her best to continue loving him, just like what she used to do.
But she thought it wrong.
She can never be with someone who held little regard for someone else’s life.
She can’t take that coming.
So on that same day, Yu Yan made up her mind and left Magus Academia without telling anyone.
She fled to an extremely remote place.
The sorceress named Yu Yan settled herself to a typical backwater village that was far from the reach of the outside world and vibrant life of warlocks and sorceresses.
All she ever wanted that time is live a life away from magic.
At first, she was not sure how she would survive to live in that kind of place. After all, she came from a family of sorceresses and she was used to living a life of luxury.
But she told her left that anything will do, as long as she is far from Magus Academia.
She made herself believed that everything will be fine as long as she turned her back on her life as a sorceress.
She doesn’t wish to associate herself with magic anymore. Because it will just remind her of Yin Shun
Yu Yan did not leave Schoolmaster Yin, because she stopped loving him already.
In fact, it was the contrary.
Yu Yan loved Schoolmaster Yin to the point that she cannot bare see herself unloving Schoolmaser Yin.
She was afraid that a day will come when all those love that she was feeling for him will be replaced by disgust and fear.
So before that could even happen. Yu Yan already left him. She wanted to save her love that was left for him
