Sorceress - Chapter 321
Just like how the student warlocks and sorceresses of Magus Academia were busy doing each of their own business, the schoolmaster of the school was busy as well.
Both parties had their minds focused on furthering each of their own prowess and knowledge about the ways of magic.
But at the same time, the two parties were also not at the same wavelength.
While the student populace of Magus Academia was busying themselves with studying for their upcoming annual student assessment, Schoolmaster Yin was busy doing something else.
Schoolmaster Yin’s hands were full lately. He had too much going on to his new research that he could hardly involve himself anymore into anything else.
He could barely keep up with his job as the schoolmaster of Magus Academia.
Even those stuff concerning the school operation that he had to accomplished were delayed and were set aside for the moment.
He spent most of his time inside his office and refused to meet anyone else.
Which as a result, surprised many of the teaching staff of the school because it was so unlike him.
They had been working with Schoolmaster Yin for more than half a century already but they had never experienced this before.
Schoolmaster Yin was so hardworking to the point that he sometimes skipped his regular sleeping hours just to accomplish everything on time.
So they wondered what had come to their schoolmaster to delay everything like that.
Little did they know that Schoolmaster Yin was busy perfecting another version of his life extension research and this is where he spent most of his time lately.
His efforts had not gone to naught though. Because apparently, Schoolmaster Yin had another breakthrough in his research.
His desire of being with the sorceress that he used to love the most started to burn once more when he saw the ancient chalice again.
For almost 20 years, he had tried everything just to forget about the sorceress named Yu Yan.
He had tried doing all sorts of things just so he could get over with his past relationship with her.
Schoolmaster Yin eventually thought that he already moved on from her.
But after almost two decades, Schoolmaster Yin’s bottled up emotions and frustrations due to his unrecruited love burned again and prompted him to have another crazy idea.
It was only when Schoolmaster Yin saw Yu Yan again at the Sanguine Tundra did he realized how much did he miss her.
It was only then, did he realized that despite the passing of time, his feelings towards the other party remained the same.
Schoolmaster Yin was still deeply in love with her.
It was also then that Schoolmaster Yin thought about bringing Yu Yan back to existence.
And if possible, bestowing her with another set of a body that she could use outside the chalice so that she could start living her life again.
He reckoned that Yu Yan would eventually forgive him for what he had done to her if he could do as much as that.
That was why over the past few days, Schoolmaster Yin refrained from himself to meeting anyone.
It was almost two weeks already since he stopped accepting any guests. He did not hesitate to turn down every request for his audience.
He busied himself into tweaking his life extension research and incorporating it into Yu Yan’s condition.
After all, Yun Yan was not entirely dead yet.
Her identity as a direct descendant of a fallen deity making her a half deity herself, allowed YU Yan’s soul to exist independently to her body.
Her mortal body exploded but her soul was still intact because Schoolmaster Yin was able to save her soul at the last moment.
It was just that she could not exist outside the chalice anymore because she no longer had her body.
But when Schoolmaster Yin saw Yu Yan’s semi-transparent form when she tried to escape the ancient chalice back at the Sanguine Tundra, the schoolmaster was given another hope.
Especially so, when he learned from Mu Lingxi’s group that it all happened after the blood-like substance chased after their group and forcefully entered the ancient chalice on its won
That information sparked a wild idea in Schoolmaster Yin’s mind
He thought that, maybe, if he could just get more of that blood-like substance, then he could probably resurrect Yu Yan and bring her back to existence.
But he knew that those blood-like substances were the deity blood of Yu Yan that was splashed over the entire Sanguine Tundra and it just dried up over time.
Where could he get another deity blood???
But despite being stump with that impasse, Schoolmaster Yin did not lose hope.
He did not stop thinking of other ways of how he could possibly bring Yu Yan back to existence.
In the end, it only took Schoolmaster Yin around two weeks of effort before he was able to get the result that he wanted.
After all, he does not become a schoolmaster of Magus Academia for no reason.
Being capable of being a schoolmaster of a prestigious school of magic was already enough to spoke volumes about his great ability.
Aside from that, the fact that he became one of the few warlocks to reached the Blue Realm of magic at such a young age only goes to say that Schoolmaster Yin really had an exceptional aptitude in the ways of magic.
Since he was already at the highest realm of magic, not to mention that he was also adept in soul arts as well as black magic, it was really not hard to infer that Schoolmaster Yin could actually create another incomprehensible spell
But as he expected, he really needed another sample of those blood-like substances.
If he really wanted to bring his beloved sorceress back, then he must find more samples of deity blood, so he could conduct further research on it.
His only problem now was to where in this world could he possibly get another source of that deity blood.
