Sorceress - Chapter 354
“So, are you saying that you guys have been at the Sanguine Tundra before???? Because if I am not mistaken, ancient chalices were items that were said to be used by necromancers during their sacrificial rituals. And among the newly discovered territories of Ancient Domain of Mysteries, Sanguine Tundra was the most recent one that was believed to be a place of dwelling for some practitioner of necromancy before. Did I got my facts right??”
Teacher Nana asked to confirm but amusement was clearly written on her face.
She really did not expect to get this kind of hard to come by information from the mouths of young warlocks.
Her decision of doing her students a favor was truly not a waste o her time at all
In fact, it even saved her time and effort because it perfectly coincided with her personal agenda.
She could not help but felt delighted because it felt like even the universe was helping her uncover everything that she needed to know without her even trying that hard.
“Yes, exactly! That is the place where we found it.”
Yu Xue replied to teacher Nana’s question with an affirmative answer.
“So you mean to say that Schoolmaster Yin has an ancient chalice in his possession right now. But what does it have to do with what you saw in the Jar of Misfortune????”
Well as much as he wanted where their conversation was going, she still could not figure out its connection to what they saw win the Jar of Misfortune.
So Teacher Nana felt the need to ask that question to clarify her doubts.
“The ancient chalice that we gifted to Schoolmaster Yin was not just an ordinary item. There was someone trapped inside of it and it even tried to harm one of us before. We saw a lady tried to escape out from that ancient chalice before and we want that to stop that from happening again. By no chance, we should allow that lady to escaped the ancient chalice or she might hurt one of us”
Long Yue suddenly butted in.
“Ohhh??? Is that so?? But what makes you think that way, though? I mean, how could you be so certain that the lady trapped inside the ancient chalice would mean your friends harm once she escaped?????”
Teacher Nana said with a wry laugh.
Since she was already decided about lending them her aid, then she must need to know everything single detail. That was why she was also trying her best to understand every angle of their story.
“We better knew because that same lady that was trapped inside the ancient chalice used to latch at our friends. Su Yan did not have enough goodnight’s sleep because of her doing. Perhaps if we haven’t sought for Schoolmaster Yin’s help at that time, then she might have done something worse. Who know’s what she would be up to next, once she escaped??? She even followed disturbed Su Yan on his dream and left a handprint on him on top of that”
Long Yue filled in Teacher Nana with all the details that she might need.
But based on how Teacher Nana was grinning mischievously in one moment and was laughing wryly in the next second, it seemed that her focus was at an entirely different thing.
“So Yi Shun was indeed hiding something. I wonder who exactly was that lady trapped inside the ancient chalice in his possession? This might be a good lead for me. I should tell others about it as soon as possible so we could make our plans.”
Teacher Nana said under her breath.
“Are you saying something, Teacher Nana???”
Chan Gu asked when he noticed that Teacher Nana started to speak to herself and was muttering something incoherent.
“Oh, its nothing… Don’t mind me… HEHE. I just remembered something.”
Teacher Nana denied it right away before she stood up and added,
“So when are we going to his office anyway??? I am free today, don’t you guys want to meet Schoolmaster Yin right now? We can still go there now.”
“Ohh?? But we thought that you are busy and you still had something else to do at the moment?? We are in no rush, Teacher Nana. You can go ad finish your stuff first, ours could wait until tomorrow, I suppose.”
Fan Lei turned her offer down politely. Since they were already informed beforehand that she still had something important to deal with.
“Oh, mine could definitely wait until I come back. The most important thing to do now was to meet Schoolmaster Yin first and warned him about the trapped lady escaping from him.”
“Errr????”
The group did not expect that Teacher Nana would be more enthusiastic than they actually were into meeting Schoolmaster Yin and telling him about his upcoming misfortune.
Nonetheless, since Teacher Nana was already the one who insisted on it and since it would also work in their favor, Mu Lingxi and her friends no longer wasted any second of their time and they all made their way towards Schoolmaster Yin’s office.
As expected, everything went a lot way smoother with Teacher Nana backing them up.
Even the lady in the portrait assisted them right away as soon as Teacher Nana stated her request for Schoolmaster Yin’s audience.
Seeking for Teacher Nana’s help was indeed worth the time and effort.
“Well, what could possibly be the reason for me to deserve the honor of your visit, Teacher Nana?”
Schoolmaster Yin greeted them with a heartwarming smile as soon as they came in then asked Teacher Nana afterward.
“Greetings Schoolmaster Yin. I brought my students over here because they have something important to tell you. I hope we are not disturbing you.”
Teacher Nana greeted Schoolmaster Yin first then smiled at the other party with the same level of warmth. Then she bowed her head respectfully in front of the schoolmaster.
Then right after that, she introduced Mu Lingxi’s group and stated their intention.
Schoolmaster Yin and Teacher Nana traded a few words of pleasantries first before they finally dealt with the topic at hand.
“So, what exactly would that be that these young warlocks would like discussed with me???”
Schoolmaster Yin asked in surprise when he saw the familiar faces of Mu Lingxi and her friends
“Well, just this morning I brought my class at the Everything Emporium to have them take a look at some of the rare enchanted artifacts available on Majika, as part of my Black Magic class. But these two young warlocks over here accidentally saw something in the Jar of Misfortune and they were afraid that it might actually about you..”
Teacher Nana made the introduction first before she allowed Mu Lingxi and Long Yue to start their story.
“Ohh?? What was it that you saw in the Jar of Misfortune then???”
Schoolmaster Yin asked the young warlocks in his front out of curiosity.
Especially saw since Teacher Nana specifically made it clear that it was most likely related to him as well.
“Schoolmaster Yin, we saw that the lady trapped in the ancient chalice had escaped!!!! And she might have hurt you or someone in the process because we also saw someone lying motionless beside the ancient chalice when the lady escaped!”
“Oh is that true???”
Schoolmaster Yin replied with wide eyes.
But weird enough, it did not seem that he was as worried about the news at all.
If any, Schoolmaster Yin even looked like he was exhilarated to hear about it!
They have at least expected to see a worried or bother expression from Schoolmaster Yin after hearing the bad news, but it seemed that would not be the case.
Because contrary to what hey expected, the schoolmaster even looked delighted as if he just won a jackpot
Isn’t it a bit weird???
