Spartan In Star Wars - Chapter 36
A week has passed for the clones and the amount of training after the video was shown was intense. To the point they were barely able to walk by the end of the day. They would grab their food and fall asleep instantly. The training regime changes took time for the clones to get used to. The rate of improvement was quick, Dom felt he was training themselves when they went through “Spartan School.”
Dom had every single clone with weights plastered on their armor. He wanted them to develop a stronger overall body. He couldn’t train them out in the forest, so he just increased their workload. These Phalanx would be the future of the clones. The death of one would be a huge loss of resources and would have to be used strategically.
Over the course of the next couple months the armor of the Phalanx changed. The excess weight soon became easier for the clones to carry. Their armor could now take a couple extra laser shots because it was thicker. It was no longer white, but black like the Spartan with green accents, they have waist dr.a.p.es that carry extra equipment.
“Jango, I have a favor and a question for you.”
“What do you need?”
“Is there somewhere out there where we train these clones, even another planet will do.Being held up in this facility will slow their growth.”
“Just a little further deeper into the outer rim, there is an inhabitable planet, with no natives. You should be able to train them there.”
“Are you able to show us the way?”
“What’s in it for me?”
“When we get word from Diesel, we will reward you some credits.”
“25,000”
“10,000 you’re just escorting.”
“20.000”
“15,000 and not a cent more this is an easy job that requires you to do nothing.”
“Fine.”
–In Flight towards the new training grounds–
“Dom I’m inside everything is working as planned.”
“Good work Sophia.”
All the sh.i.p.s that left towards the planet were forced to temporarily connect for their communications. This small opening allowed for Sophia to completely break into Jango’s ship and steal information. They finally were able to get a star map, and even the contact number for a certain Tyranus.
“I think I found us a way to contact Diesel! I have a tracking number of Ambassador Padme. She was the one Diesel supported in Naboo right? If I use this tracking number I should be able to find her contact information and bingo.”
“Put it through.”
“Hello, May I ask who’s… Diesel why are you calling me on this line?”
“I’m not Diesel, I’m called Dom. Is there a way for you to connect me to Diesel. Our ship isn’t built for this type of thing so I’m not sure how long it’ll last.”
“Dom?!? One second.” Padme quickly dials out on another holophone.
“Yes Padme?”
“Diesel I got news for you.”
“Hello, Diesel.”
“Dom!? What are you doing here?”
–Landing on the Inhabitable planet–
“Dom what do you think of Diesel orders?”
“Doesn’t matter what. We will do as he says. Now we weren’t caught were we?”
“No.”
Both Clone Captains came up to the Spartans and to seek orders. Dom turned and told them to set up base camp. They were forced to build with limited resources and limited equipment. For the next month they’ll be forced to live here off the land.
The makeshift base they built was set up and training began shortly after. In full gear they were required to run for four straight hours. Having to do hundreds of push-ups and crunches. When they heard what they were gonna be doing. They thought the training was gonna be easy. They all had regrets of thinking that. Everyday the amount of training was increased and the amount of time they were required to finish it was lowered.
Every two days, the clones were forced to fight both Dom and Sophia in combat within the forest of this planet. So far they’ve only lost, with every loss there was more training. Captain Rex’s group of clones was the first to land a hit on the Spartan. The sad truth was they still weren’t trying.
“Units one and two, lure AC1 to alpha, Units three and four bring AC2 to Beta.”
Dom who was AC1 was led to alpha by a group of clones. He knew he was walking into a trap but he needed to play his role within the training. Upon being “tricked” into alpha, Captain Rex ordered his ambush to be set off. Although it was by an unconventional means Captain Rex started employing any tactics that were possible with his limited resources.
“Now!”
Series of tree’s attached to ropes fell from the trees. Only for them to be easily dodged by the Dom, however, that was only phase one of Rex’s plan, the trees were forcing him towards pitfalls. Only for them to be noticed. The ground looked like it was offSo, Dom just leaped over them. Not only was he dodging trees and pitfalls he was firing on the clones as he did so. At the end of the course sat Rex blending in a Black covered tree. Dom dodged another incoming ambushed to be forced underneath that black tree. Rex fired down. Making him dodge again, seeing Rex at the end Dom figured the ambush was done. Only for another clone to pop up from under a bunch of leaves firing grazing Dom’s shoulder.
“Excellent, although I wasn’t trying very hard you all finally grazed me. I would call that a win for the day. Gather your wounded and get back to base, we have much to discuss.”
