Spartan In Star Wars - Chapter 44
The battle for Geonosis has finally begun. Republic forces have moved into positions. Dom and Sophia took their spots on the flanks of the army. While Diesel entered the center of the formation.
“Dom Sophia shows everyone the might of a Spartan.”
All three Spartans rushed into the droid army. It was like watching three freight trains plow through droids. It didn’t matter what the droid was if it stood in the path of the Spartans it was instantly demolished by Spartans. The Mandalorians who were used to this behavior because of Diesel moved to keep the flanks of Spartans covered. The 300th on the other hand had their first experience of seeing a Spartan in a live battle. Even with their programming the display of three Spartan forming plowing holes in the droids formation.Made them pause for a few seconds before engaging onto the droids. Realization kicked in across the battlefield of how superior these Spartans were.
They were fighting a massive army without a care in the world of their surroundings. It was like they knew nothing could touch them here. The droids did everything they possibly could in an attempt to slow down the Spartan charge. The pressure was just way too immense, with the support of the 300th and the Mandalorians the droids kept falling over like dominos.
The droids commanders decided it was time to end this. They sent Hailfire Droids to the locations of the Spartans in an attempt to hinder or even kill them. However, thanks to the tactical meeting they had before the assault the clone commanders were able to react accordingly and take out two of the Hellfire droids on the flanks without any problems. The third was able to break through the fire of the walkers heading right towards Diesel.
“Don’t worry I’ll handle this. Focus on the Infantry.”
Diesel started moving towards the Hailfire Droid, jumping up and landing on top of it. He activated his Gravity boots attaching himself to the droid. He concentrates his fire on the head of the droid. The blaster bolts couldn’t puncture the armor of the Hailfire droid. Diesel decided to move to plan B activating his armor abilities sending violent vibration from his feet. Setting off a chain reaction on the inside of the droid. The missiles started to rapidly fire, Diesel turned and punched the launchers facing them towards the wheels erasing their existence from the intense missile barrage. In order to dodge the explosion Diesel deactivated his gravity boots flipping into the air landing on the ground. Returning to finish the droids that entered his arena.
The three Spartan groups focus on keeping the droid lines in shambles. This lowered the intensity of the fire on the Jedi and the clones allowing them to work in ease. The intensity of blaster fire for the Mandalorians and the 300th was on another level. They were forced to keep up with the three Spartans. The organization of the three was like a machine. Punch the frontlines and back out. They repeated this process over and over. Though their jobs were a lot less dangerous then the Spartans and weren’t forced to enter the middle of the formations. For now they were able to keep the deaths at zero. The injuries however slowly started to envelope them. More and more were forced to retreat the battlefield and receive medical support.
The number of “kills” that the Spartan were racking up was entering into the four digits individually. Another set of Hailfire Droids made their way towards the Spartans. Dom moved into position in front of the oncoming Hailfire and used his armor ability. Two Modified Railguns that were attached on his back popped on both of his shoulders. He turned his body to brace for the impact. Firing both shots into the “leg” of the Hailfire detaching it from the wheel. This causes the Hailfire to spin out and crash into the nearby droids before finally bottoming out.
–Jedi/Clone Command Center–
“I’m glad these Mandalorians are on our side. The amount of damage they are outputting is stunning.”
“Dangerous they are. Left in check they need.”
“Master Yoda?”
“Nothing Commander. Focus we will on the nearest sh.i.p.s.”
“Aim at the nearest ship! Have the Naboo gunner troops advance on the smokescreen!”
The commander turns to walk away for a minute to a troop nearing the end of the platform. Pulling him to the side. “Send Silent Squad to keep watch over the Jedi, inform me of any ill movement.”
“Sir?”
“Our job is to watch over the Republic. This is a mission private.”
