Spartan In Star Wars - Chapter 61
–Separatist–
Loathsom proceeds to order the retreat to regroup the Separatist forces completely abandoning the frontline of the droids. In this situation the arrival of the 300th and Diesel showed that the entire plan and strategy needed to be reformed. A new tactic had to be formed. Luckily for Ventress when her Master heard that the Spartan was coming he sent over one of the biggest and strongest Separatist units to date. Arriving back at the Headquarters Ventress sent a communication to Count Dooku.
“Master made a decent push until the 300th showed up and completely overwhelmed the frontline. I called for the retreat to rearrange some plans.”
“Good. It’s best to not make the mistakes with this one. Anyways I sent you an MM-00 from project Goliath. Use this to test Diesel, if this project succeeds we will make the adjustments that are needed and mass produce some.”

Ventress turns to the container and watches it unseal. When opened the 9 foot droid walks out from the container. In awe at the sheer size of this droid compared to the others she has seen completely stunned her.
“Master are we sure this will be able to handle Diesel?”
“MM-00 of the Mammoth Series reporting in. My creators said I’m a Spartan killer.”
“According to the scientist on Mustafar, It should have more strength than the Spartan. Its only flaw is that it’s slightly slower. We uploaded the combat loads and data from every video that was shown and taken of them.”
“Can I have one?” Listening to the explanation of the droid the more she fell in love with it. This thing can cause havoc and she wanted to be the owner of that. She could only smile wickedly.
“MM-00 will be under your command as long as you don’t break it. This one can be yours.”
P.O.V. Swap Republic Forces
The 300th set positions along the road and ordered the regular clones of the 501st and 212th to retreat from the frontlines allowing for the droids to advance considerably. Diesel stood at the forefront of the retreating clones along with half of the 300th. Watching the droids approach he waited patiently.
“Sometimes I wonder if the armies here actually know how to fight. Everything just seems extremely unrealistic.” Rex took a slight glance towards Diesel wondering what he could have meant.
“Sir, What exactly do you mean?”
“These battles are far too straight forward. Even the Covenant who massively outnumbered and outgunned us wasn’t this stupid when fighting wars. This is child’s play compared to my homeworld.”
This confused the Captain even more. Child’s play? A war of this caliber is nothing compared to what he has fought before? Captain had always wondered where the strength of the Spartans came from.
–Jedi–
“Master are you sure this idea is wise? We completely lost the frontline now. How are 300 troopers supposed to fight what thousands couldn’t?”
“Every known battle that has involved the 300th has ended in victory not to mention this battle also includes him.” crossing his arm he points towards the Spartan standing still in the forefront of the two brigades worth of 300th trooper just waiting for the droids to make their way to the kill box.
“But Master.” Obi-Wan steps forward placing a hand on Ahsoka’s shoulder.
“Not all battles are won by logic. A battle is like chess: you make plans ahead of time and adjust your strategy as the battle progresses. Although, I don’t understand what chess is. But the basic concept makes sense.”
“In that case what is the plan here?” Ahsoka still showed a worried expression on her face as her eyes scanned the massive army approaching them.
“Ahsoka just watch. This will be a good learning experience to see. These are the finest troops within the army.”
“Yes master.”
–Diesel–
The explosion’s signaled the troopers using the buildings to launch attacks from the sides while a Fifty of them landed behind the cut off frontline of droids. Meanwhile. the frontline was being completely decimated by the troopers who stayed on the bridge. Not even one whole minute passed and roughly two thousand lay scr.a.p.ed on the ground.
Diesel eventually met up with the troops who cut off the enemy knowing they would be in the most danger from being attacked from behind but by the time he arrived the droids were long gone. He silently just thought to himself. “I suppose not everything is going to go as planned.” Diesel wanted to make a much heavier blow to the Separatist. With the short battle being completely finished Diesel and the 300th returned to the HQ to cheers of many Clone Troopers. Diesel scanned every single clone trooper in the huge crowd. “We will free you.”
