“Cody! Send some troopers to the last known location of Diesel right now!”
–Crash Site–
Diesel slowly gets up from the impact of the crash and scans the surrounding of the ship. Finding out the pilots were killed in the crash. Diesel slams his fist into the glass completely shattering it. Crawling out of the crashed transport ship Diesel notices that the droids are enclosing onto his position completely surrounding him. In the front of the droids was an oddly dressed boy glaring at him. Upon a closer look he figured it out to be Ventress from the reports. (R I P Ventress)
“Diesel people seem to rate you pretty highly. It’s a shame you’re gonna have to die.”
Refusing to respond to Ventress, immediately open fires on her. Ventress however, using the force to deflect the blaster bolt with her saber. The bolts return towards Diesel, only for him to stick on his hands stopping the blaster bolts mid and throwing them into the ground.
This caused Ventress to stop in her tracks and she was completely unsure what had happened. In order to attempt to figure out what she has just seen. She orders the droids to fire upon Diesel. However, this time he began dodges and fighting back. He retreated back away from Ventress, believing this couldn’t be a simple trap. Any droid that he came across quickly dismantled.
–Ventress–
“Trapped like a rat. Master was completely wrong about him.”
She watched from a distance as the Pure Black armor Mandalorian with his blood red stained shoulders walked out of the crashed transport ship. Seeing him scan the surrounding standing there doing nothing she assumed he would surrender. But the closer they got she saw him removing the gun off his blast immediately firing two shots at her. Being a being of the force she quickly deflected towards him. She could only stand there in amazement. Thinking to herself how could one deflect blaster bolts with his hands.
She decided to test him and ordered the attack. Heeding her masters word she wanted to use the droids to tire him out. Watching him move and destroy droids she could tell how little effort it was for him to do that. She pursued at a distance watching him stop and deflect blaster bolts with his free hand at times. One of the times he stopped she noticed two beams launch into the ground. Not able to get a good look as the pursuit kept going she glanced at the holes and noticed holes were deeper and a lot wider then should have been. The cause?
The next time he stopped she immediately went in to engage him. She would not allow him to keep up with deflecting bullets.
–Diesel/Ventress–
Seeing Ventress finally engaged on him, he drew his new energy sword crossing swords with the Sith Assassin. Once the blades were he returned to firing into the droids with the other hand. Obviously angering Ventress she quickly began wailing strike after strike on Diesel, dodging or locking her into a deadlock. Diesel mainly focused on removing any droid obstacle he could. Maneuvering around Ventress using her as shield against at least one side of the droids at a time.
Ventress was having enough being toyed with and rolled back and attempted to force push him away. Again, Diesel stunned Ventress by not being thrown backwards by the force push. He just returned to destroying droids with ease. She quickly woke from her daze and reengaged onto Diesel. This time applying more force into her push she noticed Diesel slightly stumbled. Causing him to reassess the situation he turned his attention towards Ventress and firing at her limbs making it harder for her to deflect the shots. Having seen his first encounter with a force wielder ended up with her simply deflecting the shots he read the situation noticing how easy it was to make it hard on a force wielder.
No longer viewing Ventress as a non-threat, he kept his focus on their limbs. Ventress on the other hand was no longer having fun. Her opponent was far too accurate and his shots weren’t deadly but they were crippling. Getting hit once would end this fight. The longer the fight went the harder it was for her to focus if it was for the Droids slowing him down she would definitely be severely injured. A small Separatist ship zoomed in causing the entire fight to halt for the droids except for Diesel. He continued pouring bolts into the Sith Assassin.
“Finally, it’s here.”
*Boom*
Something jumped out of the small ship landing on the ground between the two. Diesel couldn’t make it out yet, as the dust slowly settled he noticed an extremely bulky droid staring at him.
