Spartan In Star Wars - Chapter 95
P.O.V. Dith’s/Weinz Ghost Companies
“Dith it seems the battle has begun on Ryloth we need to hurry and complete our mission before they finish.” Weinz ushered Dith to quickly begin their mission.
“I know! Let’s go!” Both Companies of roughly ten Mandalorians began Operation Lockdown. This mission was given to them directly from Ri’lah and completely unknown by Diesel. Ri’lah constantly used the two of them for undercover ops. These missions usually include ȧssassination’s, seek and destroy, important information gathering mission. The three of them came to an understanding early on that they would support Diesel from the shadows while he handled all the direct confrontations.
The two companies were quickly moving across the streets and the rooftops on Coruscant, keeping to the shadows as much as they were allowed to. Most people who noticed the Mandalorians were either smart to completely leave the area or were killed on sight depending on the situation. When they arrived near their destination. Weinz went over the information they had received from their scouting reporting days prior to the operation.
“The Senator has two Jedi bodyguards. If possible we can neutralize the two without killing them. Keep your thoughts hidden. This is a hit and run operation when you arrive, kill the target and leave. You are not to overstay and fight.” The tone was calm, yet sad they weren’t able to confront the Jedi directly as long time enemies he wished to be able to fight them. Even with the recent additions of the Valkyries his drive to fight the Jedi grew. He had a deep respect towards Rayath who became Diesel’s direct apprentice. Her determination to grow as a fighter was better than most Mandalorians who couldn’t last against Diesel; she kept fighting and Dueling him everyday for hours. She was quickly becoming the best fighter in Clan Spartan. He felt the Jedi lost a strong potential member to their order. They even left her to die, which angered him greatly.
As the Mandalorians drew closer both begun the attack immediately not even allowing the other to take up positions. This way the attacks would be harder to predict using the force. The attacks were swift, Dith and Weinz quickly went in and began attacking the Jedi. One carried the DarkSaber while the other carried the Plasma Sword that Diesel arrived with, Although, they didn’t have force abilities their combat effectiveness was better then both Jedi combined. They overwhelm the two Jedi’s before they were ambushed and hit with tranquilizer darts. As the bodyguards of the Senator fell one after another the Senator grew angry and worried.
“Do you know who I’m! I’m Senator Orn Free Taa! I’m a Senator of the Republic.” The fat blue twi’lek who fancied his riches over his people began stomping his feet.
“In the new era trash like you isn’t allowed to exist.” Dith gritted his teeth and slashed the Senator killing him on the spot. As he fell to the group the group of Mandalorians began to hear a massive amount of people beginning to show up. “Quickly Scatter and return to point Alpha-Niner-Three, If your followed you know what to do.”
P.O.V. Jedi *fastforwarding*
“It seems they have begun making their moves on the Republic now. Sadly, we don’t have enough information on them to pin it on Clan Spartan. How does the Battle of Ryloth proceed?” Plo-Koon looks towards his fellow Masters in hope to receive at the very least a small amount of good news.
Mundi sighed “It seems they move faster than we thought. They already interfered in the battle of Ryloth and completely annihilated the Separatists forces. Commander Cham Syndulla even signed an alliance agreement with Clan Spartan and released Tambor to the Separatist for war crimes.” Mundi could only helplessly shake his head.
“He released Tambor to the Separatist? For the charge of war crimes? Why would they do that?” Plo-Koon was finally intrigued by this action. As the Jedi Knights were killed or injured this meant they were trying to pick a fight with the Jedi but were looking toward the Republic. Does this mean the Mandalorians have a problem with the republic but not the Jedi? Plo-koon quietly sat and thought to himself. “I believe we pay him a visit.”
“Him?” All the Masters in the room or on the call looked towards plo-koon wondering who he was referring to.
“Diesel.”
