Spirit Soul - Chapter 185 Revelation
After the little incident had passed, and their conversation ended, an awkward silence filled the surroundings.
However, instead of wasting their time, Kyle told the others to leave with him, and search for new opponents, while sharing his secrets with the two women.
Both the women had already heard that he was an Old Soul.
As such, there was not a need to hide anything, to begin with.
He could lead them on with what his Nurture ability could do, or what exactly Arashi was, and how his Spirit Soul was connected to him.
However, in the end, lying or playing around the truth was just cowardly and a little unfair in their current situation.
After all, Yasmine and Beatrice might as well be able to help him somehow.
Trusting Beatrice was no problem, in the first place, and Kyle had only thought about modifying the truth to some extent while sharing it with Yasmine.
Yet, after thinking about it for some time, he felt that it would be a fool’s errand.
The young halfling was sincere and honest with everything she was doing.
As such, he couldn’t help but feel that it was necessary for him to do the same.
To be precise, even if she were to expose his secrets, it was not as if it could hurt him much as Lyon and his wife must have already figured out his abilities to some extent.
With that in mind, he shared his abilities while searching for more beasts, and simultaneously explained everything in a detailed manner before averting his attention.
From focusing on the surroundings, Kyle switched to using the soul energy stored inside the Soul storage medallion to nurture Arashi’s growth path.
He wanted his Spirit Soul to grow as quickly as possible, and reach maturity before focusing on nurturing the other paths of his Spirit Soul.
There were many more paths he could nurture than it was the case before, and one of the nurtured paths was the wind affinity.
Other than that, he could nurture Arashi’s mutation, and allow the Horned Tempest Fox to mutate for the second time.
In the end, he left less than a quarter of the stored soul energy for emergency purposes.
Slowly stockpiling this emergency portion would become one of the biggest missions he had to accomplish in the near future in order to save everyone he was traveling with from lethal injuries.
With too many tasks at hand, Arashi could be considered as an endless construction site that would never be completed.
While imagining this vividly, Kyle couldn’t help but smile, causing Arashi, who listened to his thoughts, to bite into his hair and tug a little.
The little Horned Tempest Fox had emerged from his body and settled down on his head.
Kyle’s head was Arashi’s favorite spot to rest, and even to absorb the three cultivation energies.
Little did Arashi know that Kyle’s head would become too small the further their journey would progress and its body grow.
With that in mind, Kyle allowed his Spirit Soul to behave however it wanted, while Yasmine and Beatrice asked him a few questions about his ability.
They seemed eager to help him, which was only obvious.
As long as they supported him, they would reap the same benefits of his ability as Kyle himself.
He wasn’t selfish to simply nurture himself alone and leave the others behind.
This was something Beatrice knew best as she had seen it way too often.
In fact, something, she was not even sure if Kyle was too selfless at times.
However, after thinking about it for some time, she disregarded this thought, thinking that his behavior was always rewarded.
Yet, simultaneously she believed that he would have to be more judicious in whom he helped because not everyone would behave like the Undeads of the Razkadan castle or the other encounters Kyle had.
As such, she had to know Kyle’s ability better than he himself did in order to prevent him from being exploited by others or to expose too much of his ability.
Cultivators of all races were jealous beings, and if they couldn’t have something others had, they would either try to take it away by other means or eliminate the being that had the things they wanted for themselves.

Beatrice had heard more than enough stories about legends of the Undeads, making her believe that this was truly the case.
And, in fact, it was not unlikely for other cultivators to feel like killing Kyle owing to his rather unique ability.
After all, it looked like the combined potential of his ability and being a Spirit Soul cultivator was the key to unlocking limitless potential!
Even she couldn’t hide her jealously as she quickly comprehended the meaning of everything Kyle revealed.
There were only a few things she was unaware of, but even then, she couldn’t help but be flabbergasted.
This was even more so the case for Yasmine, who had to endure the onslaught of tremendously detailed and complex pieces of information.
Kyle simply revealed everything he knew about his abilities, which Yasmine was thankful for.
However, at the same time, she forgot half of what he said before he even finished with his explanation as her mind was buzzing with a lot of doubts related to everything he shared.
Perceiving her perplexed expression, Kyle could only smile dryly, thinking that he might have to repeat a few things later again.
But for now, everything was fine, and he could already feel that the three of them trusted each other much more than before.
Yasmine was also overwhelmed by the little incident from before too, but that was less burdensome and easier to understand than the rest Kyle had explained.
Thus, she was quite happy when they encountered another large group of Clyronia deers.
Thinking about the awakening of her bloodline, which she was still struggling to believe owing to the fact that she didn’t feel different, Yasmine’s mind was filled with all kinds of thoughts and doubts.
However, Kyle’s explanation about her appearance when she had the blood armor around her had been neat and detailed, so she believed him now more than ever before.
As such, she had many things to figure out.
And exactly the same could be said about Beatrice, who had yet to figure out what this blood armor of hers truly was.
Both didn’t notice what had been going on with them, but they knew that it was important to find out the truth.
However, that was not all, because Beatrice had yet to understand what she truly thought of Kyle.
Ever since he had appeared in her life, Beatrice had been unable to control her body properly.
She had no idea what even to think about this as it had never happened before.
But that could be said about quite a few things Kyle changed in her mundane life.
He had saved her from imprisonment, but at the same time, she had to rely on his blood to survive.
At the same time, being close to him caused her body to feel like pouncing on him every single time she was lacking even an ounce of blood.
Thus, Beatrice had always drunk enough blood to be fully satiated…or that was what she was trying to do without killing him.
With the given issue of the blood armor and it absorbing the blood, Kyle had provided her, Beatrice had to become more careful.
Nonetheless, she had to figure out what all these emotions that ravaged her body were.
Sorting her thoughts was as important as knowing what her body was lacking, and capable of.
With that in mind, everyone fell silent and had a hundred thoughts buzzing through their minds as they attacked the Clyronia deers.
There were less than 20, and none of them was at the Late Vitae stage.
As such, there were no problems for them to defeat the group.
Rather, it was quite easy as everyone was attempting to reach their highest combat prowess, even though countless thoughts were flashing through their minds.
It was weird, and only Kyle was able to keep his calm, even if he kept darting to Beatrice more often than before.
He had known that her bewitchment was dangerous, but today, Kyle had realized just how dangerous and mind-boggling Beatrice’s simple seduction could be.
In the end, she didn’t even plan to seduce him and had only tried to render him incapable of doing anything against her when she wanted to drink his blood.
In fact, he had almost returned her desire, which would have ended in an extremely unpleasant experience for their relationship.

Kyle was not even sure what their relationship was, to begin with, but it was clear that sleeping together was wrong in the given situation.
He was not known for being a Saint, but there were still some very clear boundaries that he wanted to set and not let anyone cross.
Fortunately, that had worked today, but Beatrice seemed to be unstable, which was certainly not something great.
,m Meanwhile, Yasmine seemed to be able to control herself much better before she didn’t enter the fully focused state.
Instead, she fought against her opponents like she usually did.
Her ordinary means of fighting were still exquisite for someone like Kyle, who didn’t even knww any extraordinary combat or movement techniques.
There were all kinds of things, and it was only obvious that her parents and teachers taught Yasmine the best of the best.
For her age, she was thus extraordinarily powerful, while Beatrice was no less than a killing machine herself.
Because of all of this, Kyle could be considered as the weakest link in their group.
Yet, the two women didn’t take him lightly because he was the most frightening, in their opinion.
From their sparrings against Kyle, they knew that he was one of the few people who didn’t care about injuries as long as it meant that he could improve.
Exhaustion was also not something that would keep him down for long and he would bounce back with a renewed vigor every single time.
Additionally, his willpower was even more annoying for the two women.
However, not only was it annoying, but also extremely helpful for his improvements, and neither Yasmine nor Beatrice could hide that they found his unbending will charming.
If he were to be unable to improve, this might be a different matter, but knowing that his unbending will and comprehension helped him increase his combat prowess and knowledge tremendously, Kyle became a tour de force.
This only highlighted his appearance which had improved since he had cut his hair and changed his clothes.
Even Lyon had to acknowledge that Kyle was impressive, which was something he had never openly said to anyone, in the long life he had lived through.
As such, it was not forbidden for him to be proud of himself.
Beings that had survived and lived for thousands of years were praising him for his tenacity, mettle and who he was as a person.
How could he not feel something about that?
Because of the praises, he was showered with, Kyle wanted to advance even faster, and it was almost as if there were no limits to his potential, which was something Yasmine and Beatrice had realized after he revealed everything about his abilities.
‘He is just like his abilities, enhancing each other, and growing stronger with each passing day without a limit!’
This was impressive, and it motivated the two women to continue improving as well.
They didn’t want Kyle to charge up to their combat prowess, which would happen if they were to accept their defeat.
Rather than giving up, their competitive spirit was fully ignited.
By staying beside Kyle, and supporting him throughout his journey, they would reap many benefits, which gave them only more reason to want to stay next to him.
Oblivious to their true reasoning and emotions of wanting to be with him, both the women fought against the Clyronia deers, slaughtering them mercilessly and thereby giving Kyle their entire trust.
If Kyle were to know this, he would be more confused than anyone because he didn’t really do anything to gain Yasmine’s trust.
Revealing his ability was more for his own good than gaining her trust, either.
Meanwhile, he would understand why Beatrice was trusting him.
However, Kyle thought that he would never understand why Beatrice accepted switching from one imprisonment, to moving around with him, while indirectly being imprisoned in a way that did not allow him to ever leave.
Yet, this could also be considered as voluntarily being imprisoned, which was even weirder in his opinion.
But, in the end, these thoughts never bothered him which was owing to one simple thought that felt like a solid possibility for both of them to join him.
‘Maybe they don’t have a certain goal to achieve or a destination, and they want to see the vast world?’
Oblivious to the slightest bit of reality, and the complete truth, Kyle continued to live in his little bubble of naive thoughts as he eliminated the last beast of the entire group.
