Spirit Soul - Chapter 205 Alice Sivermoon
In the end, Kyle was pretty sure that Alice was not the same student he had taught in his past life.
As such, it was more likely to be a coincidence.
However, even that felt wrong to him.
Because of that, he was momentarily at a loss.
Only when he heard Alice’s voice was he dragged out of his train of thoughts and regained his senses.
“I overused my life force…I won’t be able to move for a few hours…”
While revealing the truth to Kyle, Alice looked visibly uncomfortable.
However, considering that he was not even bothered to do anything to her, she couldn’t help but think that he was the best, or possibly the only way for her to survive the Brawl.
After hearing her words, Kyle just nodded his head before he thought about what to do for a minute.
Tilting his head, he sighed once before getting up from the ground.
A moment later, Kyle picked up the mask and wore it again.
Afterward, he bent down and gently his hands below her shoulders and knees to pick up Alice from the ground.
Carrying her around made him unable to fight others.
Both his hands were occupied and with her in his arms, he would become an easy target for the others. Thus, it was quite dangerous for him to help her out too.
This was something Alice had also figured.
From the moment he killed the Nasga, but spared her life, Kyle had offended both the Aldra and Nasga race.
It was possible that they hadn’t seen his face, but that was not something Kyle could be sure of.
As such, instead of trying to push Kyle away from herself owing to the discomfort of being carried by a stranger, she remained unmoving.
In fact, she was thankful to receive help from someone, and a glint of gratitude could be seen in her eyes.
After all, Alice didn’t know the person who had not only killed her attacker but was also taking her away from the center of the battlefield to a relatively safer area, clearly attracting the anger of the Aldra and Nasga race!
Because the silver-furred Lohar didn’t push him away, it was possible for Kyle to rush through the forest with fast strides. He executed his movement technique followed by strong wind currents pushing him ahead.
It took him nearly an hour to pave his way to the border of the dome as he avoided the other groups that fought against each other with the help of the hues he could see.
To be precise, it was the same spot through which he had entered the dome before.
That was the most important because he could rely on Sven to protect Alice, rather than believing in someone else.
“Sven, take care of her!” Kyle shouted after taking her out of harm’s way. He then stepped inside the dome anded disappeared once again as if he had never left it.
“If she asks about what I need, tell her about it!”
Dumbfounded about what was just happening, Sven could only blink his eyes while holding Alice in his hands.
Yet, only a moment later she pushed him away, causing her to fall to the ground, as confusion spread through her entire body.
‘Why would I push another Lohar away but not him?!’
She disliked being touched by others irrespective of gender.
This was something owing to past incidents, which she didn’t want to think about.
Confused about her own behavior, Alice forced herself to look at Kyle, who had already returned to the dome.
She was unsure what to think about him, yet, the moment Alice turned her head back, two glaring pairs of eyes stared down at her, causing her silver fur to stiffen.
Slowly, she looked up from the ground as she encountered Beatrice and Yasmine’s searing gazes that were filled with discomfort, jealousy and anger.
Fortunately, Sven was there to intervene as he bent a little and held out a hand to help Alice get back on her feet and spoke to her.

“Dear Duchess, I’m sorry for the inconvenience, Kyle is a rather rough guy. He doesn’t know how to act in front of royalty!”
Apologizing for Kyle’s behavior, Sven bowed deeply to Alice, indicating that he knew who the silver-furred woman was.
Kyle had had no idea about her background, but even if he would have known, there was no way his actions would have changed.
After all, in the given situation, he had done everything in his power to make sure that his plan B would work.
By saving the nobility, who was referred to as Star of Lahin, Kyle was sure that his act would only bring him some advantage, even if he had been a little rushed.
Yet, instead of staying behind, he had left almost immediately, feeling like something bad would happen to him.
Thus, he didn’t see that Alice had grasped Sven’s hand to force herself to stand up, while throwing another glance towards the interior of the dome as conflicting emotions surged through her body.
She was shocked about the fact that she was able to move, and realized that the soothing sensation Kyle’s touch had infused in her body had yet to disappear.
As such, Alice began to wonder what exactly he did to her and allowed her life force to be rapidly replenished despite having participated in an overly exhausting fight.
“So, his name is Kyle?…” She thus mumbled subconsciously, causing both Beatrice and Yasmine to stiffen once again.
They clearly understood the agenda behind Kyle’s action of saving Alice, but they didn’t like the fact that the silver furred Lohar was so interested in him.
Sighing deeply, they could only hope that he didn’t make a mistake by killing the prodigy of the Nasga race.
Yet, what they sensed after looking around, was that the gazes of the Aldra and Nasga powerhouses that lingered on Kyle were neither filled with hatred nor with the intention to kill him the moment he left the Dome.
This was out of the ordinary, and completely unexpected.
As such, they couldn’t help but increase their vigilance by a notch, as doubt and nervousness encroached on their minds.
After all, the true terror would unfold once-powerful existences would start hiding their emotions.
It made others incapable of comprehending what their next move would be.
Meanwhile, an older woman of the Lohar race had appeared next to Alice as if she had teleported herself.
She just emerged at a specific position before looking at Alice with worry gleaming in her eyes.
“Are you fine?” The older Lohar first asked, only to throw her fist into the air and let out a whoop the moment she noticed that Alice was fine if one were to exclude her exhaustions and the minor scratches.
“These fucking bastards dared to team up against you!! We shall teach them a lesson soon enough!”
Alice could only smile lightly hearing this, but instead of agreeing to her, she just shook her head.
“Master, don’t you think that the death of some of their strongest prodigies is painful enough? I can reach my prime state in at most, half a day, but their future generation’s combat prowess has been severely damaged!”
After her initial anger and frustration of being attacked by five powerful prodigies had subsided, Alice had calmed down.
She was not crippled and far from being dead.
As such, there was no need to ignite the inferno of a war, once again.
Instead, she looked in a particular direction, in which Kyle had rushed, wondering what exactly the meaning of the young man’s words was.
Turning towards Sven, who seemed to be acquainted with the young man named Kyle, she inquired more about him.
“I guess you are the Captain of a Unit from our Blazing Legion. In that case, you should know who I am. This makes things much easier.
Why was I rescued by Kyle, and what are his intentions?!”
Having seen the Insignia on Sven’s uniform, it was clear what his rank was and what kingdom he belonged to.
As such, she knew that there was no need for her to beat around the bush, which was not something Alice had planned to do, to begin with.
Yet, upon seeing that Sven was slightly uncomfortable with answering, she grew impatient.
p Thus, she didn’t even mind it, when Yasmine, one of the two women who had glared at her earlier revealed Kyle’s thoughts.
“Dear Duchess, my name is Yasmine Xinar, from the house of the Phoenix. Nice meeting you!”
Hearing the introduction of her savior’s partner made Alice widen her eyes. It would be a lie if she were to say that she was not astonished at all.

Nonetheless, she kept a calm expression and awaited a proper answer to her questions.
“We, including myself, Kyle, and Beatrice, here, who stays by my side, want to enter the Lahin kingdom. To be precise we want to join the Glory Knight academy!”
Yasmine stated everything in simple terms without revealing their true agenda.
This was important as they didn’t know if they could trust Alice or not.
In the end, there was no reason to tell her everything, either.
As such, Yasmine simply didn’t do it.
After listening intently to what the young woman from the house of the Phoenix said, Alice just nodded her head before asking the question that was obvious to follow.
“Why would the three of you need to do that? Your house is amongst the strongest in the entire Anadra kingdom! I doubt that you need resources or anything like that, if you were to just ask for entry.
Furthermore, you have your own royal academy in the Anadra kingdom…”
Alice was not stupid and could deduct that there was a hidden intention behind their request.
He had observed the death of their strongest prodigies of the youngest generation, only to kill one of them in the end.
Because of that, it was crystal clear that Kyle’s intentions were not as pure as Yasmine made them appear.
While thinking about a proper answer for a moment, Yasmine hesitated before deciding to answer honestly.
“We are looking for someone, and the person we are searching for should be in or near the Glory Knight academy!”
It was evident that Yasmine wanted to hide as much as possible.
As such, Alice looked at her only for a moment before turning her head to the older Lohar.
“Master, did she state the truth?”
Not expecting to be suddenly dragged into the conversation, the older Lohar was a bit startled and her eyes flicked at Alice for a moment.
Afterward, she averted her attention before asking,
“Is your ability still not fully developed?”
Sighing in annoyance, Alice’s eyes turned slightly cold before she answered,
“Of course it is, but I want to be sure about it!”
The sudden change in Alice’s demeanor astonished Yasmine and Beatrice.
Yet, instead of saying something, they kept silent, but their gazes gave away their confusion and surprise.
After she had found out the agenda of Kyle and his group, Alice was not all that interested in the two women, let alone the Blazing Legion unit.
Thus, she simply left, and nodded her head as if she was agreeing with herself.
“Aldra look-alike Kyle, Phoenix Halfling Yasmine, and…unknown human-like race Beatrice….weird!”
Alice mumbled as a faint smile appeared on her face.
Having rested a little, Alice could move freely again and decided to leave with her master, making her look at the young woman with astonishment.
Yet, instead of receiving an answer to the gaze that demanded an answer, Alice simply walked ahead without answering.
Everybody’s gazes were trained on the master-student pair, and it was a weird sight to see someone’s master acting like a leashed dog, and obeying every single command issued by a student.
However, when Beatrice and Yasmine looked at Sven with a bunch of questions in their eyes, one could clearly see that Sven and the Soldiers with him sweated profusely.
It took them several minutes to calm down, and the only thing they heard were words of stupor as Sven spoke in a low voice as if he was speaking just to himself.
“Why did it have to be Alice Silvermoon…the luck of you guys is truly…cursed!”
Sven just mumbled, not daring to look away from the back of the silver-furred Lohar.
This caused Yasmine and Beatrice to look at each other, confusion spreading through their mind.
“You have no idea what’s wrong with him either, right?” Yasmine mumbled, only for Beatrice to shake her head while shrugging her shoulders.
“No idea…”
