Spirit Soul - Chapter 212 New Arivals
The loud and booming voice of the Quetzalcoatl rang through every being’s mind causing nearly everyone to freeze in their tracks.
‘Other races arrived?! Wasn’t it supposed to be only the Sadorla forest and surrounding kingdoms that were allowed to participate in the Brawl??’
Shocked about the sudden revelation, not even the Warlords, Elders, and other higher authorities of the few present races were able to hold back their surprise.
Until now, only the Nasga that had been spared by Kyle had been able to leave the dome with a treasure.
As such, there were still more than three dozen exceptionally rare treasures, followed by the seemingly sacred ten mutated Licara flower seeds inside the dome.
Quite some time had passed since Kyle had acquired the mutated Licara flower seed, but even he had to wait half a day before it was possible for him to leave the dome.
Hence, his mood dipped to know that energetic and fresh blood of different races that traveled to the Sadorla forest from far away had arrived.
‘Is the mutated Licara flower seed that valuable?’ Kyle was aware that he held an extremely rare treasure.
But to think that beings from the other corners of the Shalivra valley traveled to the small Sadorla forest that had a scarcity of cultivation energy, just to get the chance to procure one of the seeds was unbelievable.
Yet, before he could even digest the given information, another message rang through their minds.
[There is no need to be afraid, little ants! The others that have arrived from further away have been imposed with an additional restriction. Not only are they supposed to leave quietly after the Brawl is over, regardless of the outcome, but their participants are not allowed to be at the Krysal stage!
Is that not nice?
After all, this is a severe restriction as it prevents their above-average prodigies from joining the Brawl!]
The additional intel which they unexpectedly received was not exactly reassuring.
At least, Kyle didn’t find that to be the case because it indicated that the vast majority of newcomers was bound to be at the Peak of the Vitae stage, or exceptionally powerful prodigies of younger generation who decided to join the Brawl as well.
It made everything much more difficult, with the sole advantage being that their strongest prodigies under twenty were not present.
This was a small consolation, but Kyle couldn’t smile, at all.
‘I still have 11 hours and 51 minutes left on my countdown. I guess the new participants will require roughly an hour before they enter the dome…
Nearly 11 hours and an unknown number of semi-prodigious Peak Vitae stage Cultivators…’
Kyle felt at a loss to think of the fresh wave of obstacles.
Unable to know the combat prowess of the other races that would join them, Kyle could only assume the worst case scenario to prepare himself.
This worsened his mood, but it allowed him to be more vigilant of his surroundings as well.
Knowing that he would be targeted soon as he traveled around alone instead of a large, powerful team, it was only obvious for him to be even more worried than before.
As such, one could say that Kyle’s situation might be one of the worst inside the dome.
It was quite an unwelcome turn of events for the other races, and they clearly sensed this half an hour later as they arrived near the center of the Sadorla forest.
Perceiving the hostile gazes of nearly everyone, who was standing around the dome, the newly arrived races could only smile lightly.
Not accepting to be looked down upon, the War veterans of the newly emerged races immediately released their cultivation base, showing that they were more powerful than anyone present.
The moment the old War veteran’s primordial energy was released, the heart of everyone present skipped a beat.

While Beatrice, and Yasmine had a hard time controlling their erratic breathing and felt as if their legs would give in at any moment, Sven’s soldiers were unable to endure the suddenly released pressure, at all.
They slumped to the ground, barely hanging on to the last strands of their consciousness, while Sven swallowed his saliva, sweating profusely.
The seemingly simple revelation of his cultivation base, almost instantaneously suppressed every single being inside the entire central area of the Sadorla forest.
Only the beings inside the dome didn’t notice anything as the suppression was repelled by the runic circle that materialized the dome.
“He…is on par, or even stronger than the Queen!” Sven mumbled, moments after the pressure that weighed on him had subsided.
This was only possible as the middle-aged man retracted his released primordial energy currents, once again.
While approaching the dome with utter calmness, even the young generation looked quite powerful to him upon taking a single glance.
Even Beatrice couldn’t help but feel like praising the youths inwardly, only to recall that Kyle was bound to face them soon.
It made her feel a dull ache in her heart that spread through her body.
Worry flooded her as she sensed the discipline and bloodlust radiating from the young generation of the three different races that seemed to have traveled together.
Their appearance itself didn’t look that special as all three were human-like.
One race possessed two pairs of arms, a burly body that was toned through their cultivation with primordial energy and the use of proper body refinement technique.
Their skin was black in color, but their hands were covered in a dark-reddish color, making it seem as if they were lethal weapons.
Beatrice believed this to be the case, and she couldn’t help but sigh deeply while hoping for the best.
Meanwhile, Yasmine looked at the other two races with one of them being winged humans.
Their wings were green in color, and Yasmine instinctively presumed that all of them had wind affinity seeds.
Based on their estimated height of two meters, their legs were likely to be long and spindly and their overly long neck disfigured their appearance.
On the other hand, their facial features were quite exquisite with a slightly lengthy jaw followed by a beautiful feather crest.
The fact that the Aeora, which was the name of the winged race, was highly likely to possess wind affinity seeds made her worry the most.
After all, Yasmine was fully aware of the fact that Kyle had been learning how to use the wind affinity in order to hover in the air for quite some time.
Knowing that he wanted to make use of this as a surprise move to outmaneuver his opponents, Yasmine’s expression grew even worse the moment she spotted the last race.
Their appearance was the most unique as their height was around one and a half metres.
Their skin was brownish red, and scales covered them from head to toe while their facial features were a cross between a wolf and human.
However, this was not what attracted Yasmine’s attention.
Rather, it was the fact that some of their limbs were constantly transforming into lethal weapons such as whips, hammers, and tools to inscribe runes into objects, up to seemingly ordinary hands and feet.
This caused Yasmine’s eyes to bulge involuntarily as she bit on her lower lip while continuing to nervously stare at the race she seemed to know…or maybe not?
“Kindras?” She blurted out, not sure if the race she spotted was truly what she thought.
In fact, Yasmine sincerely prayed that the smaller existences were not Kindras.
Otherwise, beings that could be considered as apex predators were bound to enter the dome, where Kyle was supposed to stay for at least 11 more hours!

In some tales, Kindras were also labeled as killing machines, but based on the scarcity of information, Yasmine had always presumed that they were a small race that wouldn’t step out of their lands.
Yet, the longer she looked at the batch of a dozen Kindras of the younger generation, the more certain she became that they were truly the Kindras she knew of.
‘Fuck this shit!’ Yasmine nearly blurted out, only to hold herself back and curse in her mind instead.
Throwing a glance at Beatrice, Yasmine sincerely hoped that she hadn’t noticed it.
But that didn’t even seem to be necessary because Beatrice’s expression was already gloomy, to begin with.
Sighing disappointedly, both Yasmine and Beatrice didn’t even realize that their hands had started to tremble.
They had figured out that the next few hours would be extremely difficult for Kyle to hold on the mutated Licara flower seed.
Even surviving would become quite difficult.
As such, they could only pray for the best outcome.
In the end, as long as Kyle survived nothing else mattered. This was the crux of the given situation.
After all, they could solve their problems using other solutions that were less deadly.
It might take a little bit longer and require more effort and hard work from their side but as long as everyone was alive, it was not impossible for them to reunite with Selene!
Both girls had figured this out, and they felt like urging Kyle to leave the dome and to escape the dangers as long as it was still possible.
They were afraid of him dying as it looked like the chances for him to be severely injured, or even to die were higher than to gain what he wanted!
How could they understand that Kyle was not even considering leaving the dome, and that he was looking forward to fighting powerful opponents?
He was only able to get a glimpse of the three races that had just arrived, but due to the hues he was able to perceive, he sensed much more.
The hues of beings allowed Kyle to find out numerous secrets of all the newly-arrived individuals.
These well-guarded secrets might not even be known by the individuals’ closest family, and friends.
In fact, Kyle was sure that some were oblivious to their hidden traits themselves!
Being hidden from their sight and consciousness, unawakened, and stored in the depth of a beings’ body, they might never awaken their unique traits, preventing them from becoming someone special, and unparalleled in the vast universe.
But that was not important right now as Kyle didn’t focus on the hidden talents, or something that had yet to be fully awoken.
Rather, his gaze was lazer focused to ascertain which specific hues had developed.
This allowed him to figure out what beings could be considered as the creme of the crop, forcing him to be careful of not killing them, or being vigilant enough not to be killed by them.
Simultaneously, Kyle was able to get a grasp of the average potential of the three present races, including the difference in their potential from the races that were already present.
The final result, which he got a hang of after spending approximately ten minutes on the hues of the beings around him, was quite astonishing.
If he was not wrong, even the seemingly semi-prodigious talents of the newly arrived races were comparable to the stronger prodigies of the three alliances.
However, the gap between the two was not large enough to make for a noticeable difference.
To be precise, Kyle was pretty sure that the environment of the territory in which the newly arrived races lived, in addition to higher quality and quantity of cultivation resources made up for the biggest difference in the strength of the races that lived around the Sadorla forest, and those that came from far away.
This caused Kyle to smile lightly as he wondered how much of a difference the martial art proficiency would account for if one compared the new arrivals and those that had been inside the dome for more than a day by now!
Both excitement and a trace of worry coursed through Kyle, but even he couldn’t tell whether he was foolish to be excited at this moment, or not.
‘I guess, I’ll find out soon enough!!’
