Stalker Husband - Chapter 22:DIANA
“Miss Diana!”
“Oh, Desmond.” I hide my wince with a sweet smile when I bump into my driver at the kitchen early morning.
“I was really worried about you yesterday. You suddenly vanished from my sight!”
“I’m sorry. I got all excited to see the town and wandered around all by myself.” I turn around to hide my blush from him and pour myself a cup of coffee.
“How did you find your way around? Did you ride a cab?”
“Hmm.” I nod while pouring creamer to my coffee, still unable to lift my eyes to meet his gaze in my embarrassment.
“Well, I’m relieved. Mr. Damari will probably kill me if something bad happens to you.”
“I’m sorry, Desmond.” I apologize halfheartedly.
I can’t even promise him not to do it again because my God! I want to do it all over again. I want to sneak out of the villa and do naughty things with Graysen. Graysen. Even his name makes me wet. He makes me forget my worries. He really is my antidote to my bland life.
Yesterday, at the private karaoke lounge, we did dirty things together twice before we fell into a short nap. When we woke up, it’s already nine in the evening. Since I’m unwilling to give him my address, he flags down a cab for me and sent me away with one of his long, passionate kiss.
I didn’t even have a proper meal except for the sweets and junk foods we had from the fair yet I didn’t feel hungry at all. Hmm Oh, I’m hungry alright but I’m thinking about eating Graysen. My face heats up even warmer. Jesus! Bad mind! ‘Stop thinking about dirty things, dummy. Youre currently talking with your driver!’
“Perhaps if Miss Diana allows me an access to her contact, what happened yesterday could be avoided the next time.” Desmond subtly asks as he pulls his phone out of his pants.
“Oh, alright. That’s a very good idea.” Not actually.
Suppressing a sigh, I take his phone and input my number on the screen and saves his in my own phone as well. Although I’ve lived a comfortable life before, I’m not used to having a driver or bodyguard that tails after me. So it suddenly grates into my nerves that Desmond has to follow me around all day.
Hmm… Maybe escaping Desmond’s sharp eyes will make meeting Graysen all the more exciting, yes? The thrill of the forbidden affair of getting caught makes my heart pound in my chest. I discreetly glance at Desmond whos typing on his phone before I smile to myself.
“Well, I’m leaving now, Miss Diana. Please enjoy your breakfast.” Desmond smiles happily.
“Hmm.” I nod at him and smile back cheekily.
Just as Desmond leaves, Lucio also appears in the kitchen being wheeled by his nurse. I smile happily and greet the old man with a kiss on his cheek. He pats my head as a reward and signals for Amy to let me continue wheeling him inside the kitchen. So I push him near the table obligingly before sitting at the other side.
“How was your tour yesterday, Diana?”
“I really enjoyed it, Lucio. Thank you.”
“Hmm, I’m glad.” He smiles at Amy after receiving his morning glass of milk. “Where did you go? And what time did you return? I’ve fallen asleep so I’m sorry if I haven’t able to wait for you coming back home.”
“Oh, it’s alright.” I cringe and feel horribly guilty for neglecting Lucio’s condition before my eyes slide towards Amy. “I should’ve called to inform you not to wait for me anymore. I’m sorry for being inconsiderate.”
