Stalker Husband - Chapter 35:DIANA
We didn’t talk about spending the night over but by the look of the tent, I think it’s an unspoken agreement. So I pick up my phone and dial Desmond again.
“Hello, Desmond. I’ll spend the night over at my friend’s place. I’ll be back at the villa by tomorrow.”
After a while, we decide to get inside the tent and make love endlessly through the night. I sleep inside Graysens arms as I dream of familiar events. Of faces I’ve seen but thought of them as imaginations. But now I’m dreaming them again as if they’re memories being dug out from the hidden creases of my mind.
I suddenly wake up, gasping for air. I dream about that night when I had a fever. After I woke up that morning, I asked Brenda about the nurse but she told me besides the doctor coming to check me up, there’s no other man that comes in my room much more sleep in my bed.
I knew I was in a delirium that night because of high fever. But when I woke up seeing that man hugging me in my sleep, my fever has gone down. So I’m sure he’s not just a fragment of my imagination. I just didn’t look too deep into it because I’m still upset about my arranged marriage to the Damari family.
But even the marriage has been put to hold for a long time that I even almost forgotten about it. Right after I received my nursing license, the Damari contacted me again to remind me if I’d still allow the marriage to take place or just let me walk away and have my own life all by myself.
For practical reason, I should’ve told them to back off but I just can’t let go of my parents’ love nest and the memories we shared there. Thus, now I’m in the Damari’s villa, waiting to be married towards the man I never know.
But who’s actually the man I’m marrying? I’m only informed that I’d be married of to the Damari family and no other details that followed. So I just assumed Lucio is the groom. But now, why am I suddenly questioning it. Like there’s something else I missed out. Someone else.
Out of the blue, I’m suddenly reminded of that man who snatched me from Michael while I’m heavily drunk. The mysterious man in the car at the park before, sitting idly and looking at me. The man embracing me in the cemetery. That nurse who held me in my sleep when I was sick and promised to never leave me. They were all the same, I’m sure of it. Who was he? Can it be that he’s…
“Are you alright?” Graysen asks worriedly as he leans up on his elbow.
“Hmm.” I nod, pulling him down to me. “Hold me close and don’t let me go, Graysen. Make love to me again.”
“My sweetheart is horny today.” Graysen groans as he kisses me on the mouth, rolling over on top of me and slides inside my waiting heat. “Sweetheart, no matter what, I’m not leaving you ever.”
I close my eyes, grabbing his back tightly as if he’s going to vanish. Just as I suspect. You were that man!
