Strange Love - Chapter 305
Jaden laughed uncontrollably as she tried to keep up with the prince. He held her hand tightly in his as he ran through the streets of the night market. “You have to stop! We need to go back! It’s already been an hour or longer since your guard called!” She panted from behind him. “Besides my feet are starting to hurt!”
Russ spun around, not slowing at all as he ran backward. “Then I’ll carry you back!” He sent her an overexaggerated pout. “Come on, this is more fun and freedom than I’ve had in nearly a year!”
She slowed her pace hoping it would also slow him. “Then we can come back out tomorrow evening!”
He narrowed his eyes at her. “Fine, we’ll go back IF you agree to go shopping with me tomorrow and let me buy you a pair of comfortable walking shoes. Those you’re wearing are just for looks, casual office wear at best.”
“Russ…” She frowned in irritation. “I already told you-”
He quickly flipped back around. “Suit yourself. So where to now? We still haven’t gone this way.”
“Ok, ok! Please, can we just go back!” She hated the whɨnė that echoed in her voice, but she really was tired and sore.
They had just stepped through the main doors of the Embassy when Peg rushed toward them. “Thank fuċk you’re back! I was just about to call dad!” He grabbed Russ’s arm and headed back in the direction he’d come from.
“What’s going on, dude? Where’s Ry, couldn’t he help you?” Russ asked as he glanced back to Jaden, who followed cautiously behind, a bewildered expression plastered to her beautiful face.
Peg sent him an irritated glare over one shoulder as he continued forward. “Ry is the fuċkɨnġ problem!” He pushed open the door to the bar with irritated force. He then pointed to the other end where Andy was perched on a barstool patting the massive man’s back as he sat bent over the counter with his head rested against the bar. “I haven’t seen him this drunk in over 520 years!”
Russ froze in his tracks. “Wait, no! I can’t help you deal with him if he’s drunk.”
Peg narrowed his eyes as he studied Russ, all the answers he’d been unable to get from Ry written there, on Russ’s stricken features. “Even more reason for you to help, if you ask me…” He tightened his grip on Russ’s wrist and all but dragged him toward the others.
Andy and Peg shared knowing nods as they neared. Andy shook Ry. “Look Russ is here. They’re back.”
Ry’s head popped up with a slight wobble from the table finding Russ almost instantly with his blurry vision. “Where the hell were you?! I was worried sick!” He moved to stand but stumbled back down.
Andy hurried and scrambled off the stool and over to where Jaden stood. She leaned toward the girl and whispered. “I’m so sorry you have to witness this. He’s typically not like this, but he and his ‘friend’ here in town had a fight tonight…” Her voice lowered even more. “Apparently about him…” She held up her hand and pointed at Russ from behind the hand.
Jaden didn’t say anything as she watched Russ and Peg wrestle the giant man up and fight to balance him. His unsteady focus stayed trained on Russ the entire awkward journey to the room. She felt guilty as he occasionally yelled at Russ for staying out so long and ignoring his calls and messages, calling him reckless, immature, and ignorant.
“Fuck it! I’m not hauling his big ȧss any farther!” Peg growled as he nodded toward the sofa. “Let’s dump his big ȧss there!” Russ didn’t reply as he struggled against Ry’s heavy frame that seemed to lean more into him. The second Ry was on the sofa Peg threw his hands up as he backed away. “Kid, I’d love to tell you how I’d love to help and all that other shit, but I don’t, I’m not going to, and I don’t envy you the experience!” He shook his head as he took Andy’s hand and headed to the door. He paused as he was about to shut it. “If you need any help tonight, call dad!”
Russ’s brows went up. “Is he really that bad?!”
“Yes!” Peg barked as he slammed the door shut.
Russ ran his hand through his hair as he glanced from Ry’s slumped-over form to Jaden. “I’m sorry about this…”
She shook her head. “There’s nothing to be sorry for. As I said, I’m tired. I think I’ll go take a shower and call it a night…”
Russ nodded his attention moving back down to Ry, whose eyes were closed and his head was laid back over the back of the couch. “Yeah, good idea… Let me know if you need anything…”
“Oh… alright…” Her eyes moved back and forth between the two men. “Same… um, let me know if you need help or anything…” When he only nodded and sent her a forced, troubled smile, she turned and made her way down the hall.
Russ was just about to go to the kitchen for a bottle of water when a massive hand caught his. His eyes moved wearily down to Ry. “What?”
Ry’s unsteady hazel eyes met Russ’s. Several emotions battled within their depths. “This is partly your fault, you know…” He muttered as he began to stroke his thumb along the wrist he gripped.
Russ tried to pull his hand free, but it was no use. The massive man had a vice-grip on it. “I don’t know what you’re talking about… let go…” Russ looked away when he read the longing in the hazel eyes staring up at him.
Ry tugged Russ down into his ŀȧp with one rapid jerk of his wrist causing Russ to yell out in surprise. His free arm wrapped around Russ’s waist holding him in place as he continued to hold Russ’s wrist in his tight grip. “You know, typically I’d never do something like this… I’d never force myself on someone like this… But after that night with you… I can’t stop thinking about your hands on me…” He forced Russ’s hand to his ċhėst. “I wasn’t lying to you that night… I… I’ve fallen in love with you…” He released his hold on Russ’s hand and quickly shifted his hold to the back of his neck forcing Russ’s face and lips down to meet his.
The sudden yell had caught Jaden by surprise as she was just about to open the bedroom door. Thinking something had happened she’d quickly turned and hurried back down the hallway. Her footsteps faltered when she heard Ry’s husky voice and hushed words. Her hand flew to her mouth, muffling the gasp of shock when she’d glanced around the corner to see Russ sitting in the massive man’s ŀȧp. One of Ry’s hands was tangled into Russ’s loose hair, their lips pressed together. She quickly forced her eyes shut as tears began to burn them. She flattened her back against the wall, unable to will her feet to move her from the spot. She prayed the paralysis would end, and she could be taken away for the hell of watching her future husband in a passionate embrace of another person… a… a man… She squeezed her eyes tighter together and slowly forced her feet to slide little by little down the hall as she hear a crash followed by more movement. No doubt the passionate embrace was now leading to hot, steamy sėx…
Once the stun of Ry’s words and forced kiss had finally worn off, Russ had pushed as hard as he could against the other man’s ċhėst. He hadn’t thought past getting away from the man’s tight grip and the horror of his hard bulge pressing into his thɨġh. The force of the push had launched him straight into the table behind him. He’d bȧrėly had time to let out a pained groan when the giant was coming down over him, forcing his thɨġhs apart as he did. He pushed against Ry’s ċhėst. “Fucking get off, dude!” He growled as he continued to struggle.
Tears burned Ry’s eyes. “I can make you happy…” He fell to his knees still forcing Russ’s thɨġhs apart with his wide torso. He tugged the band of Russ’s sweats down revealing the band of his designer boxers.
“FUCKING SHIT, MAN!” Russ called out as he struggled against him.
It didn’t take much for Ry to overpower him nor did it take his skilled hands long to accomplish their goal. While Russ was busy trying to push against the hand that kept him pinned to the table, Ry’s free hand was encircling Russ’s thick shaft and sliding his mouth over its head.
“Fucking STOP!!!” Russ screamed out as he struggled even more frantically. Tears burned his eyes as embarrassment colored his cheeks as his body reacted to the stimulation Ry’s skilled mouth was causing. He couldn’t help the strangled mȯȧns that came out between pleading screams. He pushed as hard as he could against the arm that held him down, against Ry’s head but nothing seemed to deter the hellbent man. “Fucking PLEASE STOP!” Russ cried out, his voice breaking with raw emotion as his treacherous body neared its busting point. “Fuck…” He sobbed as he fell flat onto the table, the fight was over. He covered his face with the bend of his arm, hiding the flush of his cheeks and the tears that streamed down the sides of his face.
Ry set back on his heels with a slight wobble letting Russ’s undėrwėȧr and sweats fall back into place. Wiping the corner of his mouth with the pad of his thumb, he tried to focus on Russ’s body strewn out over the table. His eyes held the chiseled V of Russ’s lower abdominals that peaked out from the bottom hem of his shirt. Feeling dizzy, he leaned forward again this time resting his head on Russ’s ŀȧp. He stroked Russ’s calf as he rested there.
“What have I just popped in on?!” Poseidon asked as his gaze moved from Russ to Ry. “I… can go…”
Russ shook his head still not moving his arm away from his face. “Get him, please…” He whispered harshly against his arm.
Poseidon’s gaze moved down to Ry who was now fast asleep. “I see…” He walked quietly over to them and lifted his sleeping son onto the sofa. “I’m going to step out onto the balcony and call Peg back… I’ll be out there for a while… if you want to talk…” He studied Russ’s slightly trembling body for several seconds before he let out a heavy sigh and moved toward the balcony door. “I’ll be right out here…”
Russ waited until he heard the sliding door close before he pushed himself up off the table. He couldn’t help the glare of contentment he sent to the now peacefully sleeping man in front of him. {The bastard’s so smashed he probably won’t even remember any of this in the morning… but I will… Every fuċkɨnġ time I see his face-} Another face flashed across his mind. His hand involuntarily moved up to his lips, feeling the deep frown resting there. {Gigi… This was probably the exact way she felt that night…} His eyes moved back down to Ry’s sleeping face recalling what he’d said that night. Another even more painful thought occurred to him. Jos… How many times had he forced himself on her as she laid there begging… crying for him to stop… He’d ȧssumed then because her body was reacting to his touch it meant she wanted him… wanted what he’d been doing… More tears streamed down his face. His brows furrowed in frustrated irritation as he continued to stare down at Ry. {Was this some kind of cosmic punishment… Karma for what I did…} He snarled his lip and clenched his fists as he stormed toward the back bedroom. He yanked the door open and slammed it angrily shut, locking it behind himself.
Jaden’s eyes burned as they watched the prince through the tiny crack in the door. She’d heard a scream and had come to check. She’d only bȧrėly gotten the doorknob turned and the door cracked open when Russ’s desperate cry for help hit her ears. In that instant, she knew exactly what was happening out in the living room of the large hotel room. Her body had frozen in terror as the cries of the many other girls she’d been locked up with over the past three years and those of her own echoed through her brain. Her legs had given out, causing her body to crumple to the floor. Her hand still gripped the doorknob so tightly her knuckles had turned white. She hadn’t missed the tears that gleamed in the light of the hallway as Russ had stormed into the other bedroom. Her eyes moved from the now shut and locked door to the sound of movement. She begged her body to move as the sound neared, but it wouldn’t. She was still frozen in the same agonizing terror.
Poseidon frowned as he rounded the hall and met the glowing Jade eyes that reflected from the dark crack of the door at the farthest end of the hall. He let out a heavy sigh as he turned his direction away from Russ’s door and to hers. “I’m sorry you had to see that, child. It couldn’t have been easy…” He pulled the door open and held his hand out to her. “My son swore off drinking over half a century ago. It’s no excuse for his behaviors here tonight… but…” He lead her toward the bed and waited for her to crawl into the bed before sitting on the edge of it. “Please don’t hold it against him… or the kid…” He ran his hand over his hair as he studied her exceedingly pale face. “I know it’s a lot to ask after what you’ve been through… but please consider it…”
Jaden swallowed hard as she nodded. “I… I don’t know what happened… before… or just now… and… and it’s not my place to… to ask… or judge…” She glanced away in embarrassment. “I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have mettled in the first place…”
He reached out and patted her hands that fidgeted with the blanket. “You have nothing to be sorry or embarrassed over, my dear. Please, try to get some rest, and we’ll talk more in the morning, alright?”
“Very good, dear..” He patted her hand one last time before vanishing from the room.
