Suddenly I Have a Husband and Children - Chapter 14
Izak wanted to be childish for the first and last time.
The woman who broke his heart to pieces.
How can she just leave without even feeling the pain he had gone through?
Izak somehow hid his most bitter feelings.
âPlease continue to have fun.â
âThen, will you think about not having a divorce?â
âNo, not any chance.â
Izak remained the same.
Estellaâs expression was upset at Izakâs words.
âGiving me this chance is already enough for me. One day, youâll come back unknowingly. Weâll see. Someday, you will be saying you love me.â
At Estellaâs bold words, Izak clenched his fist.
âTry your best.â
Then he covered himself with the blanket and lay beside Estella, away from her.
Estella looked at his back for a long time.
Thinking that she should think about another way to win him over, she took another blanket and wrapped herself.
Then she lay still next to him in a straight posture.
Badum- Badum- Badum
Her heart was beating very loudly.
Estella peeked around the room.
Izak still has his back turned away from her. She could tell he was sleeping already due to his snores.
She couldnât sleep
Maybe itâs because she was in the same bed with a man. Or was it because the guy next to her is Izak?
Estella raised her hand and put it near her heart. It was really beating fast.
âHow did this happen between us? Why did I⊠hurt Izak?â
Estella woke up by the sunlight coming through the window.
Since she couldnât fall asleep until late at night because of her mixed thoughts, Estella wanted to sleep more. As the lighting continued to irritate her, she opened her eyes.
ââŠWow.â
Estella instinctively drooled at the magnificent view of Izak in front of her.
Estella was staring at the handsome face of Izak.
He would always frown when he sees her or put up a poker face, so she has never seen his eased-up expression.
The sun was shining on his pure sleeping face. It was as if an angel had fallen.
âHow come I thought of leaving such a manâŠ?â
She was then reminded of the thoughts she had been thinking all night long.
Estella decided to put those ideas aside for a while and appreciated the face of the handsome man and husband in front of her.
His thick black eyebrows, long nose, long eyelashes, plump lips, and a muscular hard chest could be seen in just a glance.
âWhoa.â
Estella quickly turned her eyes away because it was too much for her. Then she peeks at her husbandâs face again.
âHandsome.â
His forehead, which had been relaxed, is slowly starting to frown. He must be having a nightmare seeing his eyelashes shaking and his mouth flinching.
Estella gently rubbed her index finger against his heavily wrinkled forehead. Then Izak opened his eyes at that strange touch.
âWhat?â Izak asked with the worldâs dissatisfied face.
Estella said, âAhhâ and put her hands away.
âYou were having a nightmare. If you continue frowning, you will have wrinkles on your forehead, even before you become a grandfather.â
Izak tapped his forehead and said.
âDid I frown while asleep?â
âYes, a lot. I think you had a nightmare. Are you all right?â
âYeah, I am okay.â
âWhat kind of dream did you have?â
At Estellaâs words, Izak sat down and looked at Estella.
âIâm just saying this because Iâm worried. Canât I even worry about you?â Estella spoke up quickly, wondering if she had anything bad.
Izak seemed to want something to say at Estellaâs appearance, but he couldnât blurt out any words.
If Estella really came from the past, as she said, and she came here after his wedding with Lily Bertrand, she might not know about it yet.
Estella cheated on Izak after his parents were executed.
What kind of nightmare did he have to the point he was frowning?
He dreamed about the day his parents were executed.
However, Izak could not bear to tell Estella about it.
Back then she was just sitting on the sidelines after his parentsâ death.
The current Estella, who knows nothing about it, will continue to live without knowing anything.
It will probably be the safest ending for her and for himself.
As time went by, Izak intended to leave Messian.
He was tired of all the memories he had in the kingdom of Messian. Except for his two children who call him Papa and hug him lovingly, he wanted to leave everything behind.
The thought of revenge for his parents didnât even cross in his mind. Izak didnât want to hurt anyone and himself in the process.
Just in time, the servant came in with new clothes.
Izak quickly washed his face, dressed, and left the room.
âHe should have waited for meâŠâ
Estella grumbled at Izak, who left first.
The nanny came in and told Estella good news.
âPrincess, good news.â
âGood news?â
âYes, the Countess Chess has replied. Here you go.â
The nanny said excitedly, giving a letter from the Countess.
Estella quickly opened the letter and began to read it.
âItâs an honor to have received an offer of a meeting, Princess Messian.
I couldnât be happier that I, a citizen of Messian, could be chosen as someone to share with a little bit of your concern, the light of Messian.
Please, donât feel pressured and share your worries with me.
As the princess said, I will see you tomorrow at midnight on August 7 at the Rondonia Salon with my husband.
Until then, I wish you all the best. The Light of Messian, Estella de Rief Messian.â
âThatâs a relief. Iâll send you a reply, will you bring the paper?â
âYes!â
Estella looked forward to meeting Mrs. Chess with excitement.
