Super Lazy System - Chapter 21 I Believe I Can Fly.
Bai Yi stared in amazement, as Bai Dong’er slid right past him? Blinking in surprise Bai Yi, turned and saw Bai Dong’er disappearing into the distance. Long past the Bai clan arena. He just kind of floated the entire way, even after leaving the mighty peacock, he stayed in the air moving forward at unbelievable speeds.
‘Did I win. How?’ Handsome Yi thought to himself, not comprehending how this happenedthen, it came to him in a stroke of genius, that could only appear to a scholar like himself. ‘Haha. I Bai Yi am blessed with a system, that grants me “ultra impulse mode”, others need…’ Bai Yi couldn’t help a cold sneer appear on his face, thinking of the words to follow. ‘”Hard work” and “practice.”‘
Puh! Bai Yi angrily ejected a mouthful of spit, just thinking about those words. The outcast spit flew at speeds no spit had flown before. Reaching mach 1 million (If that’s a thing.) for a moment Bai Yi wondered why the spit didn’t disintegrate but then…
“I’m I moving?” Bai Yi tilted his head in confusion. That didn’t make sense one moment he was charging the nex… Oh!
“Holy handsomeness, I can fly!” That’s right Bai Yi was flying he was amazing! “Even father can’t fly.”
Bai Yi took a moment to revel at the moment before laughing like a mad man. “Haha. I can sleep in the clouds, who can stop me now! I show sleep my days away in utter laziness while watching that mad man shout at me to cultivate.”
Bai Yi pictured an “average” middle-aged man shouting to the sky, at an otherworldly being floating in the clouds, to enlightened to care about the mundane mortals down below screaming at him. It brought a simple, yet beautiful simple to Bai Yi’s face. Yes, that was the life, no that was his life. At least, his new one. “HAHAHAHAHA, I Bai Yi am invisible at last.”
Tears were streaming down his face, he had down it. He had become invisible, it was always Bai Yi dream to become invisible, but alas the heavens were jealous of him. They made him beautiful to beautiful. So beautiful in fact that it stopped him from becoming an invisible person.
Damn the heavens. Just damn them. He never asked to be so very handsome, but yet the heavens have no mercy. He had stolen from them: he was a genius, a natural scholar and he had a system!
So they punished making his one wish never come true! But now, he was free he was invisible. He could fly so high no one could see me, well expect culti… Oh, well not like they can do anything to him. But cultivate are resourceful if anything else, better to let them know he was hmm, cultivating. Yes, cultivating in the sky.
Yes, he would turn around and tell them that, not like they could easily find out the truth, not like they could check. Nodding sagely Bai Yi turned and gazed upon the elder in charge.
Well, that is what he would have down if he could turn. Bai Yi looked in horror at the felting Bai clan coliseum. He was flying, yet he couldn’t control it.
Bai Yi looked now at the quickly disappearing Redsteel city and felt despair. It was over he lost and now he would have t-to cultivate. “Noooooooooo!”
Bai Yi did what any respectable scholar would do when faced with hardship complain. “No, I am to handsome to sit in a corner and suck in energy.” Bai Yi’s handsomeness attracts it like bees to honey. It invades him forcefully, penetrating into him so very hard and so very fast. The heavens had cursed him with talent! Curse them.
Bai Yi kept travelling for what felt like an eternity but yet not even a single second had passed. Cultivators had a different perception of time than mortals. Seconds could turn into hours depending on the different circumstances. Like moving near the speed of sound, the cultivator adapts to the speed increase, as long as their cultivation is high enough that is.
Bai Yi kept moving, leaving a trail of devastation behind him. A path of craters was formed where ever he went, quickly followed by the plasma behind him.
Eventual the craters stopped forming. He was rasing high and higher. Bai Yi cried in horror. The heavens had finally got him.
Oh, he was to perfect, just to perfect. They couldn’t live under the same heavens him and that heavens of his.
“No, if the heavens want me gone, I shall make the heavens gone!” Elegant words flow out of Bai Yi mouth. What talent! What genius! His words were a work of art in of itself. His every word flowed with the natural balance of the world creating a resonating power! (Cuz logic.)
Bai Yi was ascending high and higher, and then as if by some magical power it sopped. Yes, he stopped ascending! Bai Yi had words of power!
“Haha, I Bai Y…”
“Whoosh” A Donger goes flying.
Bai Yi Looks in shock at the retreating Bai Dong’er. ‘Did he also have words of power?’
…..
Meanwhile at the Bai clan arena.
The elder in charge whose name was Bai–
Two streaks of fire appear soaring through the sky, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. A slight smile appears on the elders face, as he observes the two approaching rays. Silently he grabs a chair out of his storage ring and sits watching the spectacle.
They would be fine. One couldn’t leave the atmosphere so easily. No, that would be too easy, and nothing in the lower worlds is meant to be easy. Except for the 4 great clans that is.
A full-blown smirk covers his face watching them cross around the planet, “that should teach them, not to use lethal attacks agents their own clansman.” The elder mumbles, while taking out a cold beverage.
If he was going to wait no need to be uncomfortable now.
…
“Ding…Congratulations to host on entering the late stage of Core-Compression.”
“You won’t get away with this Damian, the Wu clan will avenge us.” An Injured youth spoke with hatred in his voice. His features were not discernable because of the blood that covered every inch of him.
“Oh, is that what you cling to.” A youth said, with a slightly annoyed voice. He waved his hand at seemingly nothing, then turned to look at the wreckage around him.
Fire raged all around in what once might have been a mighty complex of buildings. Large pieces of rubble littered the area, nothing of what once was remained. The only hint at what once was, would be the sheer vastness or wreckage. Rubble could be found miles away in all directions, a testament to what once stood.
In the lower worlds, only a large clan could build something of this scale. Yet, all that remained of this once glowers clan was a dying youth and another youth with a strange name taking it all in, with indifference.
Damian regretfully shook his head. “The Wu clan might be mighty but…” Damian truly looked regretful, which only seemed to further the anger of the youth. “Big clans are tied down by too many rules and politics. By the time they come after me, I’ll be strong enough to destroy them.
“You destroy the Wu clan…” The dying youth laugh to the heavens, seemingly forgetting his injuries. Using what little strength he had left, he pushed himself up to look at the youth who caused all of this destruction.
He had average fetures, yet he made up for it with an intensity unlike any other which burned in his eyes. The only thing that wasn’t average about the youth was his weird skin tone, unlike any other, the injured youth had seen, and of course his even weirder name “Damian”.
The injured youth sneered at Damian, savouring a moment of joy in all this misery. “HAHA. I’ll die happy with the knowledge of the suffering that awaits you.”
“Die?” Damien shook his head. “Who said anything about dying. No, seeing your clan turned to ruin isn’t enough. No, not for you. The fool who tried to steal MY WOMEN. And she is mine, now and forever.”
“YOU… Bastard! I’ll ki…”
“System, I want this prisoner.”
Instantly the injured youth disappeared, leaving Damian alone in the rubble.
“Congratulations, host has acquired a captive! Treat him well.”
“Oh, I will.”
