Super Nanites - Chapter 23: CHAPTER 24: Code 'Q'

Alex finally decided upon an idea on how to make the best use of Anna with Nanites’ help. A few years back, he read some novels in which the MC gets a system that helps him create machines, grant knowledge and much more. He also decided that he will use Nanites to act as a system and use Anna to get resources.

“Animus. Start a new task for the Section of Nanites inside Anna. Divide 30% of them and have them devour metals from their surroundings and increase themselves. Then have 500 grams or more of Nanites hide inside Anna’s body, and they will be the main force that acts as the system”. Alex commanded Animus the instructions to the plan of controlling Anna through the system.

Animus will implement the plan and Alex has to manually control the Nanites after they start the planning system as they can only follow simple commands. Alex let the Nanites work on the initial structure of the plan that is to have them increase their size.

Then, he turned on the computer and started searching through the web to find any good ideas and suggestions that he could implement with Nanites. He searched throughout the day and found many interesting ideas as he was about to stop for the day he saw a title ‘mining nuclear power from seawater’. Alex became very curious about the title and immediately clicked on it. It was written by a famous web scientist that goes by the name of Kirito090401.

In bold letters the title was stated ‘URANIUM IN SEAWATER’, he scrolled down reading through the each and every line, and the more he read, the more hurried his breathing became as the matter was of such a significance.

The article read: Though the uranium concentration in seawater is only about 3 milligrams per cubic meter, the total volume of the ocean is about 1.37 billion cubic kilometres, which means there are about 4.5 billion tons of uranium in seawater at any given time. In seawater, amidoxime attracts and binds uranium dioxide to the surface of the fiber braids, which can be on the order of 15 centimetres in diameter and run multiple meters in length depending on where they are deployed.

“It will be more challenging and time consuming process for any other company or nation to purify and get the uranium through this method. But for the Nanites that work on Atomic-level its easier than devouring metals.

All they had to do is spread around a large area and divide molecules from the surrounding to their desired U 92, uranium molecule and collect them from the seawater” Alex excitedly thought to himself and was astounded at how easy it was to get nuclear material.

He was already thinking of what kind of system will he use to introduce to Anna, as he cannot do the things of the novel like strengthening the body or instant knowledge transfer. He thought of using Nanites’ ability that can absorb any kind of things and break down its blueprint, and he will use the blueprints in exchange for materials. Still, with this newly added uranium, he will have more options other than just using knowledge for exchange.

After reading the entire article and understanding the contents, Alex was disturbed with the voice of Animus.

“Good work Animus, now let me take over. It’s time to introduce a system to this world,” Alex said with a smirk and rose from the chair. He then walked towards his room and instructed Animus to spread around and alert him if they detect any intruders coming in the house as he went on to lay on his bed.

After transferring to the vision present a the side of Anna, Alex first saw the hospital room that seemed to be from a 5-star hotel. He then saw Anna speaking with a nurse, and she looked so different from the first time Alex saw her. Her face was pale with dark circles and sunken eyes, making her look haggard and weak to the extreme like an insomnia patient. But, even with her worn-out looks, her eyes were bright and shiny, as they showed the life present in them is still burning brightly.

He waited for the nurse to stop talking to her and let her rest as it was already nighttime, and just as he thought after five minutes the nurse tucked Anna into sleep, and the nurse sat on a couch nearby. Alex then made the entire stock of Nanites of 750 grams enter her body through atomic intrusion.

After they entered her body and latched onto her spinal cord, Alex finally decided to activate the plan’s next step. He then commanded Animus, “Add target Anna as an officer of Level A. Designate her with code Q.”
