77 [Bonus chapter]Labyrinth Tower, Mystic Shop
The trio arrived at Labyrinth Tower and saw a giant entry gate one hundred meters tall and two hundred meters wide.
“This is massive…” Erix muttered, awed at the grandiose.
“There’s something inside. Could it be that so-called Mystic Shop?” Rin said as she spotted a colorful glowing structure inside. N(O)v3l-/BJn was the first platform to present this chapter.
It was a twenty meters tall shop with unique five-floor structures plastered with glowing crystals exuding neon-type colorful lights.
“Let’s check it out.”
They entered but were surprised by the dullness inside. The tower was empty, with no windows, decorations, carvings, or anything else except that shop.
“Strange tower. Maybe the first floor will appear once the countdown hits zero?”
“Probably, or this first floor could expand into a world with magic,” Erix shrugged with a wry smile. “Anything is possible based on our experience so far.” “Six days left until we find out,” Isabella muttered. She could feel something mystical despite the tower being empty except for the shop.
Shortly, they arrived at the shop and stood before one of the many entrances leading into it while seeing nothing from outside except for the constantly changing sceneries of nature in the shop.
They pushed the transparent door and stepped inside before arriving at a small shop.
The shop was small and void of any other people.
“Welcome to the Mystic Shop.”
After the child-like voice echoed, the scenery around them suddenly changed into a mountain peak filled with greenery, sakura trees, and a pond nearby.
The shop table before Erix is a few meters away from the pond, under an enormous sakura tree on the mountain peak.
“Level 1 Mystic Shop. Please purchase things worth 10,000 Mystic coins to upgrade your Mystic Shop.”
“Rin? Isabella…”
Erix saw there was none aside from him on the mountain peak.
‘So they were transferred to their personal shop space…’ Erix thought. ‘If the shop upgrades by amount spent, then it makes sense that everyone have their individual shops.’
‘Let’s see.’
Erix looked at the table and saw it had five sections with glowing text tabs that changed colors every second and roulette with five sections containing the same text tabs floating before him.
He couldn’t read the texts, but he knew what to do.
Stretching his hand, he pulled down the lever attached to the roulette and started the spin.
Five seconds later, it stopped at a section, causing its incomprehensive texts to transform into English.
“Talent Fiesta Shop”
The table glowed as all sections merged and showed only a single tab, [ Talent Fiesta Shop ], producing a cloudy screen with a shopping user interface before Erix.
The screen contained a heading note, balance, six items in two rows and three columns, and two functions at the bottom.

[ Exit ] ==================
“Neat,” Erix nodded upon looking at the interface and rubbed his chin. ‘What should I buy?’
He had to choose carefully because he didn’t know how hard it would get to earn mystic coins, and it was important to choose wisely because the costs were generalized while the content depended on luck.
‘Offense-type is canceled. Who knows how many types of offense exist out there? What if I get something like boosting ice damage?’
Erix shook his head. Offense-type had too many variables, and the chances of him getting something useless were high.
‘The thing that would help me most, something I can use all the time and extract its benefits….’ Erix mused.
‘Hmmm…that would be a vision-based talent, but there’s no guarantee I would get the thing I am hoping to get.’
Erix thought momentarily before he unhesitantly pressed on the Random vision-based talent.
‘Everything is random anyway, so I’ll bet on it.’
*Trink!*
His balance of mystic coins was automatically deducted before he heard a notification.
[ Congratulations, you have gotten a talent, Beast Potential Scope. ]
“This…” Erix was so utterly speechless that he was amazed. ‘Wow, who knew I would get something so far in the spectrum from what I wished to get.’
He hoped to get something that would give him direct combat efficiency, like seeing through things, skill analyzing, debuffing eyes like Evil Eyes, or even some offensive eye powers since they are easy to use. Shoot from the eyes, and the frontal target dies.
But the talent he got was…well, it was not completely useless. Erix sighed.
[Beast Potential Scope]: You can get information on the mutated beast’s potential and other information related to the beast. Note: This talent can be upgraded by using the talent upgrade stone.
‘This would’ve been better on someone with a proper taming class, especially if they had skills similar to mine,’ Erix thought with a wry smile.
He had a skill about combining zombies with a single beast core to create a new type of zombie, so Tamers could also have skills to evolve, speed up growth, combine, or something along those lines that would affect mutated beasts and monsters.
‘Well, whatever. I guess I can use it to pick better beasts to refine with my Death Bones skill,’ Erix thought before he pressed on the exit and arrived back in the small shop.
Rin and Isabella were already waiting there.
“If we enter as a party, we can only leave as a party,” Rin informed Erix since she and Isabella could leave the shop.
“I assume you bought nothing,” Erix wryly smiled.
The trio flew towards Rado Forest. It spanned fifteen kilometers from south to north before meeting the Lushin Mountain range and another big four of the Westin continent, Lushin City.
15:08
“Yep,” Rin clicked her tongue. “The good things were priced at five hundred mystic coins, and we don’t have that much money.”
Rin had 430 mystic coins, and Isabella only had 260, so they couldn’t buy anything good.
“Did you buy anything, Erix?” Isabella curiously asked. ‘He had six hundred coins if I remember correctly.’
Erix nodded and shared his newly acquired talent with them.
“Let’s go into the wilderness to farm. We need to increase our stats by killing monsters and consuming their cores.”
“And you’ll look for a beast with high potential with your beast scope and use it for your Death Bone skill?”
“Exactly,” Erix grinned.
…
The trio flew towards Rado Forest. It spanned fifteen kilometers from south to north before meeting the Lushin Mountain range and another big four of the Westin continent, Lushin City.
Although the forest was only fifteen kilometers from south to north, it stretched longer from west to east, approximately one hundred and thirty kilometers, thus earning the title of the 8th biggest forest in the world.
“Many people are hunting here,” Erix noted as they already saw many people coming in and leaving the forest when they arrived.
There were also wooden stalls made by people to sell items and other people in groups at various spots to either rest or add more people to the team to increase their power.
Erix, Rin, and Isabella didn’t stop and continued deeper into the forest.
After crossing three kilometers to the north, the area widened significantly.
They arrived at a small mountain range within the forest and flew up to spot some monsters.
“There we go,” Erix smiled, but his smile vanished as he narrowed his eyes. Those two brown bears with dark soil plates akin to armor around their bodies were eating…humans.
‘Hmm?’ Erix’s eyes also caught something strange.
“What’s that black thing in the grass beside the bear?” Rin squinted her eyes. ‘It’s eating the bear while the other two bears completely ignore it? Wtf.’
