Naturally, her father the Patriarch and the Grand elder of the clan too noticed it with their peak emperor level of cultivation which made the both of them really shocked. But out of the two, the Patriarch was happy while the grand elder was not that happy as he didn’t support Lin Mei’s younger brother in the clan much.

If she became stronger then it meant that her younger brother Lin Mo had more chances of succeeding the position of Patriarch as he too was a great talent who was at the stage 5 Martial Ruler realm at the mere age of 15. It was only natural for the Grand elder to hate them because he supported Lin Mei’s elder brother Lin Qin who was also a Martial Ruler peak realm expert and had always wanted to become the Patriarch of Lin Clan.

Although Lin Mo didn’t want to become the Patriarch but Lin Qin saw them as an eyesore and thought that his younger brother could snatch his chance of succeeding because Lin Mo, although only 15 but was already a stage 5 Matial Ruler whereas Lin Qin was 19 but still at the peak of Martial Ruler realm with no signs of having a chance to break through. Due to this, he always targeted him and schemed against him. The both of them had good skills for managing the clan which made them the best candidates.

So as soon as she returned, she was summoned to the main hall allong with her siblings and family.

In the main hall, Everyone gathered before her father the Patriarch Lin Kai and her uncle the Grand Elder Lin Fu who were both at the peak of emperor for about 20 – 25 years now. All had a happy expression while 3 people had a gloomy one. They were the Grand Elder, eldest young master of the clan and his mother, her eldest aunt.

After everyone one was gathered, Lin Kai first gave Lin Mei his congratulations while praising her great deed, followed by the others. The Grand elder then made a fake smile and moved closer to her in an instant and before someone could say something, he used his origin energy and forcefully scanned her dantian and discovered the aqua essence as he was suspicious of how all this actually happened.

He then told others about it to everyone which made them shocked and happy for her. He tried to emphasize that essence and made her give up the ball while thinking of using it personally to break through to Martial Saint level while telling others about how dangerous it was to carry it around as he started pressuring her. If it were to be found then she would be in true mortal danger and also said that she just gives it up to keeps it here for it to be safe.

Despite what the Grand Elder just did, they couldn’t help but agree to what he said was not wrong so they couldn’t help but agree about as they voiced it out while her father stepped in to make him stop pressuring her. This gave Lin Mei allot of unwanted pressure as she couldn’t get herself to understand what had just happened.

She was at a complete loss about all this so as soon as the grand elder stopped pressuring her after her father stepped in, she immediately ran out of the clan and then the city while trying to get far away from that greedy old man to ward the south of the imperial city while remembering what her younger brother told her right when she was about to go back to her room with sadness and anger.

“Big Sister Mei, It is best that you get away from here as soon as u can because Big Brother Qin will surely attempt something. You can get back once it is settled and you too should be well aware of the dangers in the clan. Please leave before they use force for we are still weak and with you getting a treasure means more pressure on father by that damned greedy old fogey. This was what her younger brother had told her and when thinking about his painful expression made her feel really sad and angry as she was powerless to do anything. So she ran as fast as she could with determination to get back at them as soon as she got stronger. As for the others, they all were showing endless greed and jealousy. Almost all people raised their voices to take the ball from her while only 4 people were against it so it was ultimately accepted while she was headed south of the Imperial city in order to be safe.

Although it might see cowardly to just run away, she had to do so for this was her only option right now. She had no backing, no master, no sect, just nothing to rely on. So her aim was to go to the Hell Forest which was at the southern border of the Jade Moon Empire. As she was running at full speed, her elder brother was currently discussing with the grand elder about his scheme to chase her down with the Bai clan’s help by using their greed to his advantage and get rid of her once and for all.

And so, she kept on running for 2 weeks while resting at some point to recover her energy but to her surprise, when was about to reach the forest, she was attacked by 6 people in total with a sneak attack which made her seriously injured. She then a distraction to escape them and ran fast as those people started chasing after they came back to there senses. She was only able to reach the border of the inner part of the forest when they caught up to her.
