Supreme Lord Shapeshifter - Chapter 324
In the city of Arilo. As Nartic still completing his plans. Creating many times of purposes and understanding of events.
Martin bored watching for the time being as for the time being. Nartic will continously use his ability to create more puppets.
Martin do not have time or motives to keep tailing him for the time being. After he have started creating good fun things for himself he will be backing.
For the time being. He needs to create more scenes and situations for battle-experience and power increase. Of course. he dont know what these Astiom can have to threaten himself or in this planet how many secrets that there are here to have any kind of chance to hurt an Atmosphere Level 3 being with the battle-power equals to Atmosphere Level 5.
In a situation and creation of things. As well as opening a situation of improvement. He would be fishing and entering section..
Martin was wearing his mask and walking in the streets of Arilo City. He was seeing ordinary society. they were pretty similar to humans when it comes to city building and other things. As this city too had human like touches.
As he was walking. he have noticed an interesting shop. It was too big but weirdly nobody were entering the shop. It is size was pretty big for a place do not have any profit to create.
As Martin got inside of the shop he directly noticed that it was designed as a throne room.
Great braziers at the bottoms of each of the twelve travertine columns light up the entire throne hall and cover the hall in warm oranges and dancing shadows. The paintings of angels and cherubs on the slanted ceiling dance in the flickering light while marble icons look down upon the mahogany floor of this ostentatious hall.
A chestnut rug runs from the throne down through the center and splits into two paths leading out while square dag banners with gilded tips hang from the walls. Between each banner hangs a torch, many of them have been lit and in turn illuminate the depictions of war heroes below them.
Grand, stained glass windows depicting important royal moments are edged by drapes colored the same chestnut as the banners. The curtains have been adorned with embellished borders and fancy tassels.
A grandiose throne of oak sits amidst two large statues and is adjoined by four smaller and less elaborate seats for visiting royalty of other nations.
The throne is covered in sacred sculptures and fixed on each of the broad ears is a gem encrusted head of a legendary creature. The bulky pillows are a light chestnut and these too have been adorned with embellished tracery.
Those expecting an audience with their royal highness can do so on the many decorated, but somewhat uncomfortable teak benches, all of which are facing the throne in a half circle. Those of higher standing can instead take seat in the ceremonial balustrades overlooking the hall.
Martin at that time noticed and old man looking at him sitting on the throne.
The old man got up from his seat and smiled as he started talking.
“You hide yourself well but I know that you are not an ordinary being.”
Martin smiled and asked.
“How did you learn about it.”
The old man with wrinkles on his face was an Astiom Race being. After Martin asked how he knows about that he is not an ordinary being and no Astiom. Old Man just answered simply.
“It is not about me or anything like that. It is just that beings below the level of World Level can not enter this place from this I can see that you are at least World-Level Being.”
Martin understand the reason of why this shop was empty. It was not empty because Astioms do not like it here or shop does not sell anything. It is empty because there are not many beings who are at least World-Level around to enter this place to conduct bussiness.
Old Man then started talking.
“Our place sells many things including weapons, information, knowledge and if you want you can buy spaceships for leaving the planet.”
Martin did not said anything and noticed a big dragon image on the back of throne the old man were sitting before he come.
Tranquil jade eyes sit dreadfully within the creature’s long, scaled skull, which gives the creature a terrifying looking appearance.
Several small tendrils sit atop its head, just above its narrow, cat-like ears. Several rows of small crystal growths runs down the sides of each of its jaw lines.
Its nose is small and has two tiny, rounded nostrils and there’s a horn on its chin. A few sharp teeth poke out from the side of its mouth and give a preview of the terror hiding inside.
A thin neck runs down from its head and into a colossal body. The top is covered in thick scales and a row of small spikes runs down its spine.
Its bottom is covered in thick skin and is colored lighter than the rest of its body. Four long limbs carry its body and allow the creature to stand intimidating and noble. Each limb has 3 digits, each of which end in strong claws seemingly made of stone.
Giant wings grow starting from just below its shoulders and end just passed its shoulder blades. The wings are almost butterfly-like, the insides of the wing seem to be made of thin crystals and sharp, spiky scales cover the top of each visible bone.
Its barbed tail ends in a fan-like tip and is covered in the same thick scales as its body.
Noticing that Martin was inspecting to “Dragon” the old man started talking.
“He is Lord Dax, Lord Dax is a ancient dragon who have built this place in different planets not only in this place.”
Martin with the words of Old Man learned that this place is not simple and not limited to the planet he is on.
