Supreme Origin: Time King - Chapter 214
When the battlefield was done, everyone was covered by white light before they all vanished. Elijah saw himself standing in hill with Iris, no. He had returned to his original form. Then he turned to look at himself and saw he was back to his body too.
“What is happening?” Elijah pressed his hands against his head. It was too sudden for him.
“The seal, only the rulers and generals can break it. Look at your hand.” Elijah didn’t understand, but he looked at his hand and saw a small black badge with the word “Ruler” on it. Heracle extended his own hand and showed another black badge with the word “Commander”.
“See, this is something that happened once before. It seems the objective is to capture other’s badges.”
“Huh?” One thousand kilometers away, Oaldir raised an eyebrow. “I can feel a presence. One thousand kilometers away!”
Oaldir, A low-rank devil in charge of spreading the devil path through the mortal worlds felt something. It has been some time ago since he discovered the tomb of a ancient demon and recovered what looked like a Demonic core. He was elated to realize the demon was not just any ordinary one, but one of the demon gods of time. His position in the devil territory risen immensely after his merge with the core.
He could not help but remember the time he had to give demon artifacts to others in order to corrupt them. The last time was when found a telented seed with a marvelous tristy for power and blood, it was sad that his plans were destroyed by a young specter. When he heard it from others he nearly went crazy, he searched for the specter but the man was gone. Shortly after the planet he was from also vanished and all the powerful people there was throw away, his devil seedlings included.
Holding his white badge with the word “commander” he remembered what his Lord said. “If you find any badges while participating in the time war be sure to give me the commander badges even if you need to reveal yourself.”
As part of the demon territory, he could not go against the lord’s orders. Over countless years when he was still a little low-rank devil, he had a inborn connection to life energies he could use by achieving the One-With-the-World state. In this state, he could see how strong the person he was facing was or if there is something or somebody hiding in the distance. His badge also started trembling as it felt the presence of an enemy badge in the proximity.
“Haha. This is my luck day. Oaldir stared at a direction, his eyes gleaming. “Perhaps I will be able to do finish my lord’s task without the need to participate in the final battle.”
His body, now in his original form merged with wind as his vanished.
On the immense battlefield, Elijah and Heracles were walking shoulder-to-shoulder, chatting and laughing as they monitored the surroundings with their sense. Given their power, there was no one they had to fear. Those who made trouble would just be seeking death.
Suddenly Elijah’s gaze sharpened by a couple of times. His eyes pierced the air like a sword before he laughed without any worries. “Someone is coming over.”
“Someone is coming?” Heracles stared at his badge and realized Elijah was talking the truth when he saw the badge was shaking a lot in his hand. He was startle at the same time. He didn’t sense anything and without the badge he would believe there was no one near, yet any movement in space would be easily noticed by him, or more specifically Destiny his, spatial angel lying next to the origin gate with her sisters.
[Master an evil aura is approaching at high speeds, he has a white badge with the word “Commander”. He’s trying to keep himself hidden, but it can’t deceive me. He is at least a high-rank devil or a low-rank with power at the celestial realm.]
“Only high-rank.”Elijah laughed, spreading his spiritual force over the figure trying to disguise himself as a wisp of wind.
On the other side, Oaldir thought he was being stealthy. Mainly because everyone knew that being one-with-the-world means it’s impossible to differ the person from the world itself. Every skilled assassin in the celestial world had to learn this in order to become a successful assassin. It was really sad that he was facing an beings created by the natural laws, having a connection with spatial laws even gods inborn with the power over space could never have.
“What?!” Two hundred and fifty meters away, an huge figure was formed from the wind. It prepared to engage a surprise attack on the two people in front of him when he recognized the form of one of them.
“It’s Heracles, son of Zeus!” He surely knew who the man wearing clothes made of lion’s fur was, Elijah on the other side was really surprised. He only knew Heracles had a bit of fame on earth and that he was considered a hero over there, yet he could have never thought he was son of Zeus.
The surprise brought by seeing Heracles didn’t scared him, instead he charged towards the as he turned into a mass of colorless blades. Because he didn’t recognize Elijah, he didn’t give the golden-haired man much thought and decided to finish Heracles first. However seeing the contempt in Elijah’s eyes as he stared at him, Oaldir who was preparing to attack Heracles chose to attack Elijah instead.
“You were the one courting death, Don’t blame me and be happy there is no death in this war.”Oaldir smashed downwards as a huge energy palm appeared in the sky, slamming down at Elijah causing a deep, thundering sound while even the grounds was shaking by the powerful energy, opening countless cracks in the space before an unknown energy appeared to repair the space. Heracles on the other hand just laughed. If what Elijah told him was true than even his father could not hurt him.
Elijah casually waved his hand, and 346 rays were shot from his eyes as a purple-black aura spread from his before covering the whole area. His hand was bathing in black light as the sky was covered by black clouds from which drops of black water feel and with each drop hitting the hand, the huge concentrated energy slowly dissolved until nothing was left.
In the same seconds he threw a punch at the air and Oaldir felt as if space itself was pulling him towards the hand. His entire body was compressed and trapped by this pressure, there was no way he could escape Elijah earth-shattering punch.
“Don’t blame me, blame destiny.”
Spatial Impact! Rumble! As the fist rose connecting his lower jaw with his forehead, Oaldir was sent flying into the air in a speed the team rocket would be proud.
