Supreme Origin: Time King - Chapter 219
Boom! Throwing his hammer forward at full strength, it’s form moved at a incredible speeds as it tore countless spatial cracks. The energy booming out of the hammer was all absorbed into the weapon as it reached a blue-haired god.
“How can a single hammer hurt this god.” The man snorted as he extended his hand and released his divine energy to suppress the hammer by forming several layers of barriers.
Bang! The hammer hit the first layer with a loud sound just before a invisible energy passed through the barrier as a huge shock wave broke the barrier like glass and it continued its trajectory toward that god.
Bang! The second barrier broke, the third broke… When it stopped at the last layer, its speed which had lowered by the other layer suddenly increased and it smashed that god’s hand apart while releasing the same energy that spread inside his body, releasing a huge shock wave inside him that broke his body apart. His body turned into light and it flew upwards, he was a spectator now.
Like it knew what to do, the hammer continued its path toward the weakest gods and taking them down one by one. When Elijah looked around, Heracles had finished off three of them by himself as he smashed another head apart. Ninia had also increased her attack speed at the last moment and cut the bodies in half at the same time. The other goddess with her was not as strong and only managed to win against one of them. As for the rest they were rather killed by Chloe or by the man Elijah identified as a member of the eternal time clan.
Soon, all the gods turned into a ray of light and vanished in the sky. Elijah waved his hand and multiple badges flew over to him as he reunited with the others. As he stepped forward, he immediately noticed the man that helped them staring at him before sending his voice.
[Young king, this is your lowly servant Ryok. It looks like King was right as always, saying I would met young king on the next time war. If you don’t know what I’m talking about then use your King’s Vision on me.]
Elijah stared at him for a moment, then he nodded with his head before a invisible ray of light was shot out of his eyes straight into the man’s head. Countless images appeared in his eye before he smirked. Turning to the others who didn’t noticed what happened just now, he rose his voice. “Now they were defeated, we should think about the share of badges first. There is five of us, what about four badges for each of us. This would make up for those who didn’t kill many of them.”
As he finished his words he stared at Ryok, the man was like a rock. His face didn’t show any expressions, however he was more talkative than he looked like.
[We were all waiting for the young king to arrive.. I was so happy when I was the one sent to this place. It looks like this era is close to an end just like he said.]
“Now we each of us has taken their share, we should rest and cultivate for now. I wasted too much energy on the battle.” Parting from their group Elijah headed to a small mountain not far away from them and open a cave for him. Suddenly, he rose his hand as a blur passed by as he grabbed with his hand. It was his hammer that returned to him. Then the tired voice of Chloe echoed in his mind.
“Ell, I too tired. Moving this body around is exhausting, I need to recover some of my energy while I have some sleep.” Opening his other hand, he extracted his fiery red clock out of the hammer before it melted in his body once again.
“Okay, go get some sleep. We will talk later.” Seating in a meditative position, Elijah left the hammer by his side as he closed his eyes, immersing in cultivation. If one observed closely, they would see an absurd amount of energy flowing towards a cave before being refined into trinity force.
‘Having too much trinity force is never a bad thing. I should at least form another trinity pill before stopping.’ He absorbed so much energy than he formed a trinity pill inside his soul, yet Chloe haven’t awaken since that day. So Elijah thought of forming one more pill as he waited her.
Seven months passed, Elijah and the others continued hutting for badges together and they all gathered the minimum amount to advance to the final battle. Since then Chloe still didn’t gave any signs, he tried to merge his armament with the artifact, but it didn’t worked. All he could do was to wait.
One day when he was lying on the grass and staring at the sky while Heracles and the others were chatting and laughing next to him, he heard that familiar female voice once again.
“I’m sorry for taking so long, it took me a while to get used to this new form.”
That night, the two of them had a long talk. Elijah told her about his past hundreds of years he experienced since she departed, Chloe could not help but scream in astonishment when she heard about his two kids, Cassie and Eliot, as well as the daughter he had stuck in another timeline. He knew than she must know even more about himself giving what she saw when he was inside the cocoon. Truth be told the three years he spend there didn’t help much in other than preparing his body and raising the realm of his soul.
However Chloe only knew who he would be, not everything he went through so she stood quiet as Elijah spoke and only occasionally she would speak something as exclaim in surprise. It took him a while to explain the difference of timelines and parallel worlds, that world where he married Aina and witnessed Chloe’s final death as she gave him enough vitality to make him younger again.
How that version of him slowly grew for a ordinary man into powerful celestial with power of billions of lives, his attempt to defeat the universe itself and his massive defeat before sending his memories through time in order to help him change the future. The story ended with his invitation to the time war and how he was the ‘Young King’ of the eternal time clan.
