Supreme Origin: Time King - Chapter 226
One hour later Elijah returned with his phone full of many ingredients and materials he didn’t know of to see how he could use it to cook. From the fruits he found, most were completely different from what he was used to so he decided to pick the tastiest ones an bake a pie. From time to time Elijah would ask anyone about what was that vegetable or fruit.
Raising a fell pitch-black pearls he asked the leader of this group of cultivators from the town near the hill and asked. “Yinna, what is the fruit in my hand?”
Turning to Elijah, Yinna exclaimed full of shock. “Euva! A mystic fruit to our people, how did you find it?”
The moment her voice spread through the camp the three other members came running. Their faces were pale and there was a hint of amus.e.m.e.nt and surprise at the same time, with sweat all over them, none of them could hold back their emotions which made Elijah stare at this thin pearl in his hand. ‘This must be something pretty valuable. I shouldn’t have showed to others.’
“Ohh, sorry. My reaction was a bit too much.” Yinna, Yiktor’s sister and leader of the group noticed her mistake and covered her mouth. “If you are planning to eat it, then I must must warn you it is not a good idea. Euva is good for us, but we are not sure if you should eat it.” From her spatial tear she open in space she pulled a couple of bottles full of the same pitch-black pearls.
“I’m just surprised you could find it.” Yiktor, Yellios and the silent man who Elijah didn’t know the name nodded. Shortly after it was Yinna’s turn to explain. “Euva is what we eat to cultivate as well as the main material for our weapon, its native from the abyss. It is so important that we use it as currency between our people back there, those from other territories that came to visit our cities came to name it as the Void Corefruit.”
“Yeah! Even those gods brought some of it back with them to serve as the material for their weapons. Artifacts made from it are know to be especially powerful and something even came to birth a spirit within. However only those within the abyss’ lineage can consume it, but you can find an Artifact Refiner in Eternia. How many did you found.”
“Eleven hundred.” Elijah may have said this, but he had at least a hundred thousand stored in his phone. Without cultivation, he had to maintain the artifact where Chloe’s resides, it would also be good to make an upgrade on the artifacts he already has. The Polaris sword and armor he got back on Peuh was gaining a few layers of dust inside his phone. Putting the pearls back in the phone, Elijah started preparing his meal.
…..
On the next day, their group of five finally arrived at the town. Compared to everything he had seen it was somewhat exotic, and the energy density was so high that its particles could be see with the eye.
At the entrance to the village, Yinna turned to Elijah. “We’ve finally arrived, welcome to the Himmel Town. Most mortals would not be able to handle the atmosphere and density of the void-elemental energy and would faint in less than a second, but I guess it does little effect on you. Follow me to see Elder Yoaf first.”
Treading on the stones from which the ground was made of, Elijah noticed countless stares from others around him. He could guess being a small town compared to the rest of the region, most of them were unfamiliar to outsiders. The entire town was not too big and its population was a couple hundred, maybe because those from the abyss are know to have a really low fertility which makes them different from gods who are capable of spreading their blood like rabbits.
Stopping at the gate of a two-story house where a young man in butler clothes was waiting. His eyes wandered before he saw Yinna followed by Elijah and the others and made a gesture for the them to come closer.
“So this is the person causing all that comotion? No matter how much I probe, he does not look like anything above a mortal. Yet his provokes an feeling capable of seeing his depth, like a endless darkness within the vastness of chaos. I’m the elder’s buttler, Babei. How may I call you?”
All the eyes fell on Elijah, and at that instant he knew he could not speak his name no matter what. It was a miracle that he came here after cripping himself or they would surely recognize himself.
“Name is Ryze. I came here to borrow your formation, I must go to one of the Five cities, from there I will be heading to Eternia.”
“I know, the elder has informed of it. However I must first tell you that something come up and the elder had to leave the town.”
“What!?” Yinna exclaimed, “The elder is not here? What happened, will our help be needed?”
“I suppose no, its something related to all the clans. But there is not need to wait here mister Ryze. The elder already told me to lead you to the formation when you arrive.”
At the back of the house, a large formation seven times larger than the house was carved on a solid-metal that was colorless like a block of glass. With the butler taking the a brightly-silver metal key and inserting on the console inside the house the formation lit with purple light before a gate open in the void.
Elijah was familiar with spatial formations with similar functions, and even raised a few in several places like from Peuh to his homeworld.
“I already put the coordinates to the nearest city, Aeros, The City of Rivers. When you arrive there be carefull with the fish or you will regret it.” The look in his eyes were serious. Only those what saw for themselves knew how dangerous fish were.
“Fish?” Elijah’s mind paused for a second. No matter in each world, he never heard anyone speaking of fish with such emotion in his eyes. Stepping towards the platform, rushed toward the gate and vanished.
