Supreme Origin: Time King - Chapter 273
Seating opposite to him, Elijah’s mother couldn’t help but ask, “Son, when do you plan to leave?”
“I’m not sure.” Elijah scratched his chin, “I came here to see you, but there is something I want to confirm before leaving.”
Later that night, Elijah said goodbye to his family and friends and left as soon as he could when the sun was about to rise.
“Your highness, where do we go?” Void Time and Golden Time were curious to why Elijah left this early and couldn’t understand.
“You’ll see…”Elijah turned into a mass of a million light dots and rushed towards the space. When their eyes met, the two enforcers could only nod before following him. Soon, they passed by countless stars and galaxies, and it didn’t take long for them to see the limits of this cosmic realm.
A thin layer of energy as thin as silk was everything that separated Chaos from the cosmic realm and protected the living beings in it. Without stopping, Elijah increased his speed and pierced through the layer, leaving the cosmic realm.
Following behind him, the two enforcers had noticed Elijah standing in the chaos, observing something.
‘As I thought.’ Elijah stopped moving, his gaze was fixed on a small sphere in the distance.
Reaching his side, Void Time saw that sphere, it seemed like she was stuck by replacement. “This! That is the abyss right? Weren’t we supposed to be on a different cosmic realm?”
“And we are. Not on a different cosmic realm, but a different chaotic space. Wait, but if it works this way, then…” Despite looking identical to the abyss from their reality, this one was completely empty. The worlds and the way everything was located was the same, but without the royal families or any other creature living in it. Driving inside it, there were black-gold towers in each planet and star, and those towers were indestructible to the point, even Elijah’s power of time would pass through it as if it didn’t exist in first place.
Now he was sure, that this alternate reality didn’t exist in the same chaotic space. This also explains where the other reality and time lines he could see were, they were nothing but reflections of the reality of different realities that existed in the many chaotic spaces.
The only thing he needed to understand now was why there were towers, both in his world and this one. The use for these origins towers that appeared out of nowhere.
“Golden Time, let’s go back and bring everyone from the citadel here. I think i can open a small passage from this world to ours.” Standing on the world that was supposed to be the Void Star, Elijah released his massive energy toward the open space with his hand, a small fissure opened, on the other side where a huge hangar with several thousand sh.i.p.s and even more soldiers carrying weapons and ammo into the sh.i.p.s.
“Let’s go.”
….
Void Star.
Following Elijah’s advice, Yawen properly equipped the billions of void clansmen with weapons and armor as well as a new type of weapon based on earth’s gunpowder weapons, with an energy-type origin on each gun, it could shoot a powerful energy ray without the need of a cultivator to operate the gun. The same change has been done to the warsh.i.p.s massive stellar laser and anti-matter rifle and quad-element cannon that needs at least a seventh realm cultivation to activate it.
The silver star cruiser on the hangar lifted off towards the sky, heading toward a young covered by a mist-like dark armor.
“Cass.”A female voice sounded from the ship, “We are going to test the new weapons, starting with the origin laser.”
“Understood!” Cassie nodded, taking a defense posture and gathering her void energy within her body.
Inside the ship, Yawen walk over to a blue-skinned man in the weapons command. This ship was the royal family luxury cruiser Lusil, an old origin ship with a damaged spirit.
“Keith, prepare the laser at half its power!”
“Yes, ma’am!” Changing the output of power to 50%, Keith grabbed the handle and aimed at the far away Cassie.
At her present level, it was almost impossible for her to be injured by an energy weapon, however, not even Cassie felt it was a smart idea to face one of her dad’s creations by herself.
“Miss Cassie, Brace yourself.”
Hearing Keith’s warning, Cassie summoned a huge void cloud over the entire royal district.
SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH… Pang! In the blink of an eye, a green ray was shot out of nowhere and pierced through the sky dissolving most of the gray clouds in a split second. The earth shook and even Yawen and everyone else in the ship were gasping in shock.
However, the ones who suffering the most were those in the city who were suddenly scared the shit out of them thinking the enemies had reached them, some even wet their pants from the huge green light exploded in the sky.
Athena, Aphrodite had just gathered with a few of their clan when the saw the green ray. Zeus, the first to lose his power and was no different from a ninth-realm demigod was taken back by that weapon.
Different from what some may think, the divine clans weren’t as outdated as those on Midgard liked to think. Zeus for example, was one of the first celestial beings to find his own console brand and sell the Pandora Box console to several mortal worlds under his domain.
For anyone with an eye for technology, they knew than for weapon used by mortals to reach this power were all legendary artifacts, not the laser weapon of a warship.
“Urg!” Sweating deeply, Cassie noticed that this energy couldn’t be dispersed by her power, instead it slowly ate her energy reserves away.
“Keith! Stop the weapon, Cassie isn’t handling it very well.”
“I know, I know! But it isn’t working.” Keith yelled back while trying to turn off the laser, but it wasn’t working. Well, an arrow when shot couldn’t return to its bow and this seemed to be the same problem.
“Shit, I just left for a moment and you guys nearly broke one of my toys. [Time Shadow]”
A voice sounded inside the ship. Behind Cassie, a brown-haired figure shot itself toward the laser and slapped with his hand.
Puff*
With a disappointing sound, the laser which scared even the ex-deities broken into countless light dots that flew towards the man’s forehead.
When the dust vanished, Cassie was wide-eyed when seeing the brown-haired figure from afar as she stuttered. “D-dad?!”
