Survival To Godhood - Chapter 124 Stone Breaker
Leo went to his hut that became a home to him, Lucy, and Pedro. He looked around the house and noticed the clothes, in a pile, him, and Pedro never cleaned, and he chuckled a bit. Without Lucy around, the chores tended to pile up.
He walked over to the table where he tinkered on technology. He and Lucy were always working together to find a way to repair Sprite. He looked at the broken wrist artifact and felt like it had been an eternity since he last talked to him.
Even though the house was burnt most of it was made of stone and was still intact. Leo headed underground and saw that most of it pillaged and collapsed. Leo used his Mana Sense and noticed that a ball of mana was deep below his training room.
“Earth Control!” Throw his hands out he moved earth around to have the ball of mana return to the surface of the floor in the training room. Once the ball of mana breached the ground, he noticed a golden hue from the orb.
“Master…” Leo knew right away Urcaguary left the ball.
Leo walked over and touched the ball and information flooded his mind. The mana coursed through him allowing him to see Urcaguary in his mind.
“Hey, Leo. I figured you would return eventually. The enemy attacked Machu Pichu after I left to the north. I then brought the survivors to Lankani City. The Spirit Lord there welcomed us graciously and spoke very highly of you. I’m proud to have you as my disciple. The fight I had up north caused my old wounds to reappear so I will be resting once again. I hope you are safe and survive this troubling time. I left you a gift in this mana sphere. May it serve you well in the future.”
The mana bubble popped and a golden object was the only thing remaining. Leo picked up the weapon and looked it over. The golden-steel mace had a half-meter handle with a head the size of a watermelon. One inch spikes covered the metal ball. This kind of mace was the weapon he always wanted and one that fit him very well.
The only thing left for Leo to do was name his weapon. It needed a mighty name to strike fear in his enemies. “I shall name it…Stone Breaker.” Once Leo called out its new name, it a silver hue covered the weapon and vanished. Naming it finalized the creation of the artifact.
Putting on a new battle uniform, Leo placed Stone Breaker on his hip to his belt. He gathered a few memorabilia including his old pocket knife, golden plates given by Urcaguary, Forge Hammer, and his old buffalo coat. He also packed away a few rations and items.
“Should I head back to Lankani City?” Leo asked himself. He shook his head at that idea. If he wanted to learn about what is going on, he needed to head south where the enemy base was located. If the enemy had powerhouses at the same level as Urcaguary then if he gets caught, he would be killed right away. Leo knew he needed to get stronger faster than the pace he was going at now.
The question was how to do it. Leo’s most significant leaps in strength were when he received inheritances from Mahishasura and Urcaguary. If he was to get stronger he needed to find a new inheritance, but where could he locate one.
“Oh, I got it. The first manual I ever trained in was the Dance of Sun and Moon from the old country of Egypt. If I go there, I might find remnants of the past.”
With a destination set, Leo headed outside the house. Knowing that Egypt is across the ocean, he would need an airship to get there the quickest. He quickly realized there was no available ship in the vicinity, but as the thought crossed his mind, he heard an aircraft in the distance.
Leo smiled and said, “I think I’m going to commender me a ship.”
The airship turned towards Leo to fly over Machu Pichu. The scout ship sailed here to pick up the peggian who was waiting here for Leo. It landed in a burnt field of destroyed crops.
“Where is the Squad Leader?” asked a peggian holding a blaster in his hands.
The pilot looked at him and responded, “I don’t know. He said he wanted to inspect the area a little more thoroughly.”
“Yeah. I was surprised when he returned no longer transformed. His host must have died during the escape.”
The two kept talking as a human slowly walked towards them. Leo looked at the early Core Builder and Mana Fighter and sneered.
“The Core Builder noticed the warrior walking towards them and yelled, “Enemy! Open fire.” His partner, the Mana Fighter, whipped around and started firing at Leo.
Leo erected a wall of earth to catch the laser blast. He grabbed Stone Breaker and threw to his right. Leo opened the wall and activated his movement technique to close the distance. A few meters from Leo, the Core Builder stepped forward to take him on. The peggian punched forward causing a small wind vortex to attack Leo.
Leo used Ascending Sun to create an updraft of wind to divert the attack. All of sudden Stone Breaker crashed into the peggian holding the blaster. The impact crushed his face and skull in one fell swoop knocking the soldier off his feet. When he hit the ground, he was already dead.
The Core Builder turned around in time to see his partner die. With the Core Builder distracted, Leo released a Descending Moon kick to the back of his head causing the soldier’s legs to buckle and fall forward. Using Metal Control, Leo recalled Stone Breaker to him and then he swung down killing the remaining soldier.
Leo pulled the mace out of the man’s neck and shook it to get the blood off. Leo then walked to the peggian airship. Leo destroyed the communication in the ship so the enemy couldn’t track him. He then flew the ship eastward to Egypt.
