Sweet CEO’s First Love - Chapter 100
Ten stared at the sleek black Mercedes Benz four-door and smirked.
Heart watched his face break into the biggest smile that reminded him of the Cheshire cat.
“So who is driving?” He asked greedily.
“Don’t even think about it… No one drives my car but me.” Seungwoo stated, eyeing Ten and his enthusiasm carefully.
“If you drool on the leather, I will make you sit in the trunk. Don’t worry though it’s not a punishment it’s really spacious; so spacious you could have a tea party in there.” He said with good humor.
“Oh, how nice, sounds lovely. But I forgot to bring along my teapot.” Ten responded back.
Heart chuckled.
“I’ll sit in the back.” He proffered.
“Me too then.” Ten said quickly.
Saint smirked and wiggled his eyebrows evilly at Kit.
“I’m sitting with Heart.”
“I’m sitting with Ten.” They both said at the same time.
Heart looked at the two of them, trying hard not to laugh.
“What are you two idiots saying, treating your host like that!”
“This is a car, they don’t have four seats in the back. Obviously one of you is going to have to sit upfront. Because it’s an honor to sit up front, why are you two acting like children? Behave like proper guests, one of you go sit up there, now, or I will.” Ten snapped and the two of them looked crestfallen.
“Sorry, I would have an excuse for them but I don’t, really other than that one just fell in love, and now they are hopelessly glued together. And that one is just a hapless idiot.” Ten apologized to Seungwoo.
“It’s okay, I’m not feeling utterly irrelevant at all right now. Just call me chauffer. Where would the two hapless idiots like to be taken?” Seungwoo said, staring at them sassily. Eyes filled with daggers of ice.
Heart looked at the ground and pretended to cough but laughed into his hand instead.
‘Shoot, that was so salty he needs a bucket of fries to go with that.’ Heart thought.
He opened the door on the left a few seconds later Ten opened the door on the other side and scooted into the seat on the right. Heart grinned at him about to climb in when Saint’s hand circled his wrist and pulled him back.
“Gentleman first,” Saint said, then sat down in the left side seat and looked at him expectantly.
Heart looked at him blinking at Saint.
“I don’t think that’s how that saying goes.” Heart said.
“Besides I didn’t see a gentleman get in the car at all.” Kit said sassily.
Saint glared at Kit, but Kit turned and gave him a shrug before turning back to say something to Seungwoo who was standing with his hand on his open door observing the entire scene with bemusement.
Heart stared, waiting for Saint to realize he still needed somewhere to sit and there was only one seat left. The middle in between him and Ten the only spot… ‘and just how was he supposed to get to it?’ He wondered.
“You do realize I need to sit, right?” Heart asked rhetorically.
“So sit,” Saint said playfully.
Heart glared at him.
‘Think I won’t climb over top of you? Well then, Challenge accepted!’ Heart grinned and leaned in. Using his long arms to reach past Saint’s lap and land on the seat next to him. He pulled both his legs in, using Saint’s legroom space to stand in-between his shoes and sort of twist himself so he was half sitting on Saint to get inside.
He turned back to look at Saint just in time to catch his cheeky devious grin but far too late to do anything to stop the inevitable from happening, and sure enough, seconds later two strong arms were wrapping themselves around his waist, lightening fast and shoving him down into Saint’s lap. Heart sighed and looked back at Saint’s stubborn face which had been masked into a facade of innocence, as he sat there refusing to let go, his arms wrapped around Heart like a warm seat belt.
Heart sighed and reached down trying to pry Saint’s arms off him.
“Let me sit.” Heart stated.
“You are sitting.” Saint agreed.
“Not on you, on the seat.”
“But my lap is much more comfortable.”
“And how would I know that you haven’t let me sit in the car.” Heart pointed out.
“I’m sitting in it, it’s a luxury vehicle but it can’t be as luxurious as a lap.”
Heart glared at Saint and started fighting to get off him with all his strength.
“Let me see then.” Heart stated then pried open Saint’s legs using all his muscles to do it as Saint fought him, and he sat down on the leather triumphantly.
“You never do what I want,” Saint said with an unhappy sigh and let go.
Heart stopped, stunned by the unhappy sourness and hurt in his tone. He turned to look at him, now that he had given up fighting.
“We are always doing what you want.” Heart countered.
Saint looked out the window disgruntled, “But it isn’t anything romantic like this.” He said under his breath.
Heart raised his eyebrows.
“You like romantic stuff like this?” Heart asked, taken back.
“I told you ages ago, he will surprise you someday with how soft and un-demon-like he can be,” Kit reminded him.
Heart flushed at the memory. Remembering how he had said there was no way there was anything but a full-fledged evil demon in there. And how Kit had retorted he got his nickname Saint from their grandma somehow. And it wasn’t from this.
Heart looked down at his hands to ignore the looks he knew would happen the moment he did it.
He got back up crouching forward and with a single hand pushed Saint’s legs back together and sat down on top of his lap.
“I thought you said you didn’t want to?” Saint said cheekily.
Heart ignored him, still looking down at his hands and said softly. “You were right the leather is uncomfortable compared to a lap.” Heart said shyly.
Saint chuckled and cuddled his arms around him before leaning Heart back against him.
“Okay well, that was horrifying to watch.” Seungwoo’s voice cut into their sweet loving moment.
“Hey let me have this, I never get to be all sappy like Kit and Ten. Can’t a guy have his jealousy dreams come true once?” Saint asked, with good humor.
“No, obey the rules of the road, everyone gets one seat, it’s midnight so sit nice or you can take Ten’s empty spot in the trunk.” Seungwoo glared at Saint.
Saint laughed.
“Alright, I concede I will behave, your car, your rules,” Saint said then let Heart go. Heart got off Saint’s lap and sat in the spot, with a grin.
“Can I at least put my arm around him or will that impede your driving Captain?” Saint said, cheekily.
“Fine,” Seungwoo stated simply.
“Okay, then I will really behave nicely from now on.” Saint agreed.
“Thank god, you all are a bunch of playful animals and it is far too late for me to be putting up with this. The next time you come to Korea you are taking a taxi from the airport.” Seungwoo grumbled, before slamming his door and starting the car.
He pulled out of the airport parking lot and left out the left side car park. There was a small booth with a sleepy man at it who took one look at the car before he let them through.
Seungwoo sped off down the streets of Seoul, the city flying past them, a blur of multicolored lights in the city that never slept.
Stores and shops all lit up, open, and filled with people bustling around. Small little food carts everywhere, with an old lady or man behind it, stooped overcooking some sort of delicious mouth-watering, shiny street food. They all zipped past, only appearing before them for a moment before they were gone again. The only time they got to observe anything for very long was when they stopped at a light to wait.
Otherwise, this beautiful new exciting world blazed past him just as fast as the city back home. The differences his eyes could pick up on and absorb, as they drove, were not as many as he would like but the world was as vibrant and colorful as he could have ever wanted.
Buildings higher than he could see flashed with big moving advertisements displayed right on their thousands upon thousands of windows and stores selling jewelry, makeup, and literally, anything else had poster after poster of some beautiful K-pop star in their windows, or their little TV’s playing their advertisements.
It felt like he had fallen through the rabbit hole into a whole new world, one so close to his own, but yet so different it didn’t feel real. His heartbeat with excitement, but his eyes drooped sleepily from the exhaustion of the day mixed with the warmth of Saint’s arms around him, and he leaned into that happy warmth and that oh so delectable scent that stirred the air around Saint always.
‘Maybe, just a few seconds… He could close his eyes for a few seconds.’ Heart thought.
